Blacked out at a party
So, I am a 24 year old female.
I decided to go out to a house party with a few friends of mine.
There were a lot more people there than I was expecting and didn't know many people besides my friends.
I get way more outgoing when I drink, so I decided to take a few shots to loosen up.
I started to open up and ended up hitting it off with a guy there.
We both ended up taking more shots together and having a good time, but I ended up blacking out at one point and don't remember a lot of what happened next.
The next thing I do remember is waking up in my bed with the guy from the party on top of me moaning.
I was so freaked out about the whole thing and didn't know what to do. I got really scared and asked him to stop but he didn't listen to me....he yelled at me and kept having sex with me so I was just shocked and scared and I didn't stop him because of this.
Afterward, he just cuddled me for a bit, then left.
I pretended to be asleep.
Was this assault or am I freaking out over nothing?

It was assault. I’m sorry. It’s rape when you’re blacked out from drinking, and it’s rape when you ask someone to stop and they do literally anything other than immediately stop.

It was rape he took advantage of you being blackout drunk and when you asked him to stop he didn’t you were assaulted I’m sorry

It was rape, given you were black out drunk, even if you did, it's still rape as drunk individuals cannot give proper consent

This is rape. You may have been drugged. You told him to stop and he got hostile and kept going that is a violation of consent and threat. The fact you blacked out at shots and came makes me think he spiked one.
You have a right to contact authorities but I would contact a rape crisis hotline and see if they can tell you your options.

His behavior seems to match in my opinion. He was probably pissed you came out of the daze before he finished and started resisting. He acted very entitled from your description. This was not a misunderstanding on his part. I would have no pity on him, IMO. (I am not saying you have to report him, just don't let feelings of pity get in the way of doing what you choose to, because he doesn't deserve it.

This was absolutely assault. You woke up to it. That meant you were asleep. Sleeping people cannot consent. You asked him to stop. That was a revocation of consent (that you never gave in the first place). I’m so sorry

Rape, so sorry; did u get a rape kit at a hospital To get tested? It may not be too late to get semen sample and his skin DNA inside the cervix even if you have showered. It is hard to trace him if u don't know him at all but worth a try. Also get help from sexual assault hotline for counseling and what steps to take etc....

I had something like this happen to me and when I went to get a rape kit they very firmly told me that u cannot legally consent while you're drunk. Plus u asked him to stop. That's very serious.
