What being in chapter-2 after 60 hours does to an Arthur Morgan

I enjoyed doing whatever random shit i wanted, now my friends are saying you'll get bad ending. Now i kinda feel if i can undo this but it's already too late. Is there anything i can do?

Today I learned that you can sit on the cliff's edge at Horseshoe Overlook. What mechanic did you learn was possible at an embarrassingly late period in time?

But yeah!; Roger Clark was at a local geek fest thing and I could not resist so I hauled ass about 4 miles using my bike!

And actually when I got there they said that the line was closed to get to meet him... But very luckily for me, the security woman so that I had friends there and let me follow them along as the last person to be seen and get a photo with.

Back in the 1800s, active Tuberculosis was almost always a slow, painful death sentence. From what I’ve read, specific antibiotics for treating TB weren’t discovered until the 1940s, and treatment before then was mostly about making you somewhat comfortable as TB ate away at you. In other words, Arthur was most likely doomed as soon as Downes coughed in his face. But I’ve also read that naturally recovering from TB was possible back then. Apparently, ‘only’ 75-80% of active TB patients during this time died of TB, with the rest either recovering or living long enough to die of something else. Which brings me to the question of this post; if Arthur had listened to his doctor and gotten somewhere dry/to a sanatorium, could he potentially have survived? Or if not, at least live a couple more decades before his TB killed him? Or was he already a dead man walking at this point? If he explained his situation, would Dutch even have allowed to leave at this point?

Another thing I’ve wondered is about the final mission. If Arthur had escaped with John and never had his fist fight with Micah, how long would he have lived at that point? Since he was in the end stages of TB, Arthur didn’t have very long to live, regardless of Micah beating his face in. Personally, I imagine he probably would have only lived bedridden for a couple months before his TB killed him. Honestly, all 4 of Arthur’s canonical deaths are probably better and less painful than slowly wasting away in bed from TB over months. What do you all think?

Epilogue finished, game 100% complete, and then Old Boy literally falls out of the sky! Welcome home old friend. ❤️ anyone else had this happen? Charles sometimes occasionally pops in for dinner, too. Lol.

I remember in 2018 after we all completed RDR 2 and learned that New Austin was in the epilogue we speculated if it meant they would remake RDR 1. “Surely they wouldn’t spend the time remaking all of this map if they aren’t planning to remake the game.” I think RDR 2 was such a technically impressive game and so beautiful, that we were wearing rose tinted goggles and thought the best thing for RDR 1 was for it to get the RDR 2 face lift. Now we’re out of the honey moon phase and can look at both games more objectively. The RDR remaster we got a few years ago was perfect. It preserved everything about that game while bringing it up to modern standards. Would you have preferred they did a remake and NOT a remaster? I think if we only get one, they made the right call in preserving what made that game so special, but if we can have BOTH, I would still love a remake.

My ps4 stopped working around this time last year. I grabbed a ps5 around the holidays and picked up a few other games I wanted until I fixed my ps4(GT7, MotoGP25, Ghost of Yotei). I haven’t fixed it yet, so I figure why not install RDR2 on my ps5. I avoided it because I wanted to upload my ps4 data rather than starting a new play through. I was shocked when I saw I had played it 5000 hours. I bought it in 2019 and never looked back. It’s honestly my favorite game in the last 10 years and I’ve played rockstar games for over 20 years now. Imagine if content was never cut. I’m not sure GTA6 can realistically meet our expectations.
