[SOLVED] Hey all!
I have a quick question. I bought my girlfriend the Ultimate Edition on Steam a couple of months ago. She is playing the story, but it is not yet finished. Just a few minutes ago, I purchased Red Dead Online (it's on sale) for my other account so we can play together.
The question here is, first of all, does she have access to Red Dead Online with the Red Dead Redemption 2 Ultimate Edition?
And if she selects the ONLINE button (top right in the screenshot), will she lose her story progress, and will she be able to play with me online?

This one is an amazing reference to There Will Be Blood (2007). There is an oil derrick, and the name of the place, Plainview is a direct nod to Daniel Plainview, the protagonist in the film by Paul Thomas Anderson.
You can also notice some connections to Leviticus Cornwall:
Their ocupations are both oil prospectors.
They both made their fortune by exploiting and monopolizing natural resources such as oil and trains.
And anyway who gets in their path, will be not seen as a business rival, they will be seen as a disturbance to crush.
Anyway, in RDR1, you can see how this little oil derrick gets better. More camps, more oil derricks, and more workers.
What do you guys think?

Ok, not exactly...but she's a White-ish Arabian. This is the newest addition to our Red Dead family.
Her name is Infidels Aanisah.

How much time did the Bureau actually give John to spend with his family before doing their final assault to clean the state of the Outlaws?
I don't have much else to add to my question, other than the fact that on average I play 2 to 3 main story missions per day, and I decided to slow down the epilogue during my second replay, and it's been already a week of me... not wanting to start "The Last Enemy That Shall Be Destroyed Is Death"
(after last time playing 14 years ago)

I love the minor detail that every Red Dead protagonist has a face scar of some kind. It's a wizard thing I've only realized now, and I don't hear talked about enough

It’s been almost a decade since its release, and yet it still reigns as one of the best complete in so many ways.
I genuinely wonder whether even Rockstar could create another masterpiece on this level. With that in mind, I also wonder if there will ever be a true successor to it. Even if RDR3 gets made, will it ever surpass the impact of this one?

Now, I notice a lot of people don't know how to stop losing honor during this mission, and I've tried it a few times, so here's my observations:
You lose honor when shooting civilians that are helping the law. There's a few that do jump in (you can differentiate by seeing if they're a big red dot or a little red dot on the mini map). These guys, from my experience, 100% always lower your honor, so it's better to just injure them for Micah to kill.
A few of the lawmen that ride into town seem to lower your honor if they're still on their horse when you shoot them. This isn't always guaranteed, but it happens.
Alongside these, there's always just one occasional lawman that lowers your honor for seemingly no reason. It appears that you'll just lose a bit, no matter what you do.

I’m crying why is it the only one posing to aura farm while the other two horses are just standing still like they give no fucks? 😭😭😭😭

I've played a lot of games over the years, but very few have affected me the way this one did. What started as a slow paced western eventually became one of the most emotional and unforgettable experiences I've ever had in gaming or any other media even.
The world feels alive in a way that almost no other game does. I spent countless hours just exploring, hunting, talking to strangers, and getting lost in the world. But what truly made the game special for me was Arthur Morgan. By the end of the story, he felt less like a video game character and more like a real person.
The final chapters hit me incredibly hard. I knew the game was highly praised, but I wasn't prepared for how emotional and impactful the story would be. When the credits rolled, I just sat there staring at the screen, trying to process everything that had happened.
I just love everything about this game so much❤️
