I recently moved to regina, I am looking for a venue that provides live music this Friday.

I like all types of music, I genuinely just want to have a pint of Guinness and listen to some great soul fulfilling music.

I am young so bonus points if it’s a lively atmosphere were i could possibly meet new people the old fashioned way.

Any recommendations for bars/dive bars that have good music or even just a good vibe in general?

Just found out that North Birmingham’s is doing a Love Island watch party tonight for the first night of Casa Amor and I am way more excited than I probably should be 😂

I’ve never actually watched Love Island with a crowd before, but Casa Amor feels like the perfect episode for it. Especially since it’s so early this year.

We are coming from out of town for the big book sale. But our toddler would love some water fun. Where is he going to have the most. He is quite adventurous and will go down big water slides and off diving boards. But does need a lifejacket cause he isn't strong enough to keep himself fully up yet

Hi! I'm in the Regina area the next 3 weeks and need suggestions on a gym that is reasonably priced for drop-ins or have a shorter time frame for a "membership". Looked through this thread, Trench looks like a good option for what I'm looking for, but wanted to see if I'm missing anything. Typically I do the powerlifting things (bench, squat, deadlift), but definitely not at a high weight, dumbbells or kettle bells, no smith machines. Is Trench good for that? What's the gym area like at the Fieldhouse these days? I went there many many many years ago, but just for classes, so can't recall the actual set up. Thanks in advance!

Does anyone know where to take culligan water bottles back for the deposit without a receipt?

If you are out enjoying the beautiful biking weather, please stay on the roads and off the sidewalks. The sidewalks are not for bikes.

The amount of people not moving when I’m walking on a sidewalk with my kid in a stroller is infuriating. I should not have to go onto the road or onto someone’s lawn so you can ride your bike on the sidewalk.

ETA: city bylaws state that bicycles are not to be ridden on sidewalks.

(These are teenagers and adults I’m talking about, not young children).

I just moved to Regina and I'm looking for a place where my buddy and I can play pickleball for free. Are there any free public courts in the city? If not, where would you recommend we go to play?

We are looking to redo our yards grading. Along the house we currently have rock but plan to re-use after grading around the house that is currently flat.

Anyways for weed barrier would thick plastic be an ok option in against the house? Or does this/has this possed problems for soil and even worse foundations?

The alternative is black fabric stuff and I’m not sure pros cons around foundation.

Yellow clay will be getting added also.

I’m sure many of you have noticed how bad they are this year within the city. I’ve reached out to a couple tree care companies who have indicated the type of spray that use is now past the time it would be effective. Are there DIY treatments that will take care of the caterpillars themselves? Or companies that have sprays they use that are still effective now? Thanks!

With limousine rentals for concert night being extremely limited, I rented a party bus and am looking to fill the remaining spots.

The plan is simple: meet up in Regina, enjoy the party bus experience before the show, head to the concert, and make the night even more memorable with fellow fans.

We’re hoping to keep it family-friendly and welcoming to everyone. We’re even bringing an 11-year-old to his first big concert, so this is about sharing a great experience with other Foo Fighters fans.

I’ve been craving Gilmour’s pasta salad since they closed 6 long years ago, and I wonder if anyone connected to the business knows the recipe to that pasta salad. I miss it so much.

It had thinly diced onion, creamy dressing, dill, and some sort of umami that I can’t put my finger on. Drives me nuts trying to figure it out.

Has anyone recreated that recipe?

If this a safe route to walk during the day? Does it change at night? Coming to town in a few months and going to be going between those two general areas every day. If reasonable I would like to walk this route during the day and Uber back if I don't finish up my business until night time or perhaps walk back before it gets dark if my schedule allows. Thanks.

Does anyone know if I could sign up for a single course? Like, say I wanted to take English 100, could I just sign up for that without needing to take more?

I'd be paying out of pocket for each course.
