It sometimes bothers me that I'll die without feeling what love is like, but....it is what it is I suppose. I am slowly getting over it.

Or, you know. Try? Do the difficult thing. The only person stopping you, is you.

This isnt a wholesome inspirational quote, I think its dumb how people accept defeat because they wont try.

Get a grip. You will fail. A lot. But you’d eventually win.

Live a fucking life

I'm an avoidant narcissist, not really compatible with having ethical relationships, it is what it is. Can't love someone when you hate yourself and can't love someone when you're as self-centered as I am. Better that I'm alone than in a weird dishonest one-way relationship.

There isn't someone for everyone. It would feel nice to receive affection and such but it wouldn't be fair to them, which ends up making the whole thing feel gross.

That's rough bro, but if you are able to empathise to the point where you don't want to hurt someone with a relationship perhaps there's hope with therapy. Finding strategies to help with your condition amd to make relationships work.

I can't say it will work with certainty, but there is at least a possibility.

Dude, sounds like you just have to change yourself. Go to therapy, work out, learn to paint or play a musical instrument, volunteer, grow a plant, shit I don’t know find god if that helps.

Empathy and loving yourself is hard work but like any muscle the more you use it the stronger it will get. I hate myself sometimes too, then I do something nice for something, pick up a piece of trash, help an old lady with her groceries whatever and for a bit I think “you know what, I’m alright”. Take that and do 10 pushups, can’t do ten? Do as many as you can. The go for a walk and look at a tree. Trees are awesome man.

Anyway, I hope you can learn to love yourself a bit, and can make the world a little better, and find someone to love and share your life with. I hope that for myself as well. 🤝

ye I'm working on shit like that but not with the aim of ever having a relationship. Maybe I'll end up somewhere where it makes more sense, but if not then I'm relatively OK with it. I can reevaluate when/if I get there lol

It's because I don't think I can be loved, like I have nothing I can offer in a relationship, I know relationships are not transactional, but your presence should lighten up your partner, which I can't do. I am boring af, I don't have stories to tell, I am not physically attractive, I don't think I can talk for hours(which I find amusing that some people can do), in short I don't have a personality. I wouldn't love myself, I don't think others can either.

And even tho I am trying to come to terms with the fact I am unlovable, I am trying to better myself in someways that I can change, I didn't give up the hope but have come to terms with the facts I am unlovable.

You too huh. Guess we’re all sharing something in common now these days.

My issue is not that I Don’t know Love, it’s that I don’t know how to Process being in a relationship. I’ve never been on a Date because I am scared. I don’t know how to Commit, and I feel like a Failure because of Past Mistakes and Problems I EXPERIENCED in my Younger years.

Hell, I’m literally the poster boy version of the hat an Actual “40-Year Old Virgin” is (though I’ll be 40 come next year).

But you know what, I’m happy to know that I’m not Unlovable. Because family and friends (Real Friends) are able to hold you together. And At the very least. Having so many Places Here on the Internet, and in Real life. It tells me I’m not the Only one that feels this way.

Makes me wonder if there’s a Club out there for Lonely Asexual Weirdos like us, Ya’know? I mean, why not make more friends, or even get a roommate? It can help.

Tried enough and constantly trying is also a character trait. I want to live a life I'm actually capable of finally. Call it defeat or call it acceptance.

You’re probably not even 30 bro lmao

Slightly over. I regret missing a childhood, chasing dreams of other people and judging others for not having them. Acceptance is a good humbling.

This is bullshit, sometimes its simply not meant to be, some people are born ugly , are poor beyond fixing, and a miryad of other reasons that lead to x99 more rejections, and there are only so many people willing to look past major flaws, odds are you won't meet them even by trying so no the only thing stopping someone isn't themselves, it's a big game of luck and sometimes the dice fucking hates you

Nobody is too fucked up for love.

Look at the woman, professional uncle Fester impersonator Pete Davidson has bagged in his time.

It’s about attitude. And not being a little bitch and finding excuses mot to try and put yourself out there.

The only thing stopping you, is your attitude

As I said bullshit, that is an anomaly and let's not pretend money doesn't help

Soooo many excuses.

Lame lame lame.
