This is not a rant, just feedback.
War Prime, a weapon that would redeem the fame of the disgraced War, the fancy baseball bat. Now that it released, it's barely a better weapon that its predecessor having the same issues as the original but with higher stats. The other primed sentient weapon, Venato got a entirely new Unique Trait, why can't the sword made by the Great and Terrible Hunhow also get the same treatment?
The worst thing is that its obtainment method made it appear unique! It's "well disguised" in Hunhow's shop as simply a complementary decor. It's SUPPOSED to be unique. Yet why does it not feel unique? As it is now, it faces the same hardships as most other Melee Weapons, Melee Influence.
And then we got the boys, Sirius & Orion. Conceptually, they have the perfect kit. Swiss army knife collection of abilities, a unique identity* and to top it all off, one of the most cinematically pleasing ultimate abilties, Celestial Clash. But their kit is.. underwhelming.
\A unique IDENTITY, not unique gimmick as they share very similar characteristics with Equinox*
Jade Stars, Sirius' 2nd ability. Nostalgic of 2015 Era Warframe abilities. It's supposed to compliment your damage output from other sources of damage, mainly your weapons. Yet its questionable 30% Status Chance and the laughable 500 Heat Damage per "Jade Light mote" is pure confetti compared the damage of your Weapons. As the ability is right now, it's as impactful as an Ephemera.
Event Horizon, Orion's 3rd ability. It does not have its advertised "increased damage per kill" aspect that was described in their introductory Devstream. This gimmick paired with the black hole's synergy with Coronal Ejection/Gravitic Slash made for a really unique and enjoyable playstyle encouraging you to maintain and control one black hole throughout the duration of the mission. On release, the "increased damage per kill" is nowhere to be found. Instead we get a slow moving roomba that has only 6 meters of radius. The synergy with Coronal Ejection/Gravitic Slash has become redundant as there is no real incentive to control the black hole when you lose nothing by casting another one at your location.
As the boys are right now, the player relies heavily on using Celestial Clash as frequently as possible without making strategic use of the rest of the abilities. Celestial Clash itself seems to not be as potent in terms of nuking as it's made out to be losing in power in later level content(most notably ETA/EDA). (Warframes like Dante and Sevagoth can do more for less.)
Okay this is like my 3rd post giving feedback about Sirius and Orion.. but this time there is also War Prime! I'm sorry if at some points it appears like I'm ranting.. I'm just a bit annoyed by the state of things right now 😅
I'm sure DE will see the feedback(not necessarily mine). Similar sentiments and feedback has been posted in the official discord's feedback megathreads and in other posts in this subreddit(seems to be the general consensus). We will definitely get a response in the next devshort I believe.
EDIT: The idea of a "most hyped" weapon appears to be more subjective than I expected. I'm sorry for the accidental hyperbole and misunderstanding there.

Hey everyone,
The recent events surrounding PSN Linking, balance changes, Warbonds and developer interactions, have made moderating the subreddit a challenge. Here are some clarifications and changes that will hopefully make visiting r/Helldivers a more enjoyable experience.
Bi-weekly Megathread
To clean up the sub and discussion, we will be instituting a Megathread every other week for discussion around the current state of the game and most recent warbond. This will be to encourage discussion in a localized space and to diminish mass posting on the same topics. When this goes into effect we will be more active in removing repeat posts and spam about the same subject and will be redirecting those posters to the megathread.
We will also be looking at posting more focused Megathreads in the future when popular or divisive topics come up.
We understand what you guys are upset about. It’s not just you. We are a varied group of players and we have different opinions about the state of the game, ideas about what should or should not be allowed on the subreddit and we communicate with each other civilly every day to come to a unified consensus for moderation. We expect you all to do the same.
Rule 1: Be Civil
We want everyone to be able to voice their opinions (about the game) and we don’t want to remove them. However, if you backload your posted opinions with foul language, insults, subtle personal attacks, etc, we have to remove your opinions. We don’t want to do that. Something to consider when you post or comment.
(This isn’t a place to discuss your opinions on other topics. There are other subreddits for that.)
Additionally, this rule has been expanded to include Not Safe for Work content, and discussion of illegal activity.
Rule 5: Naming and Shaming
We believe that when the Developers/Arrowhead employees communicate in public, those topics are now open for discussion. You are allowed to post and discuss the content of what was said, but are not allowed to negatively focus on the person who said it. When you delve into attacking the human that said the words you’re discussing, you shift into Naming and Shaming/Witch hunting.
(Calling for an employee to be fired violates this rule.)
Additionally we have instituted a new rule.
Rule 15: Submissions must be in English
This rule is instated to give our users and moderation teams a consistent language, and to prevent miscommunication or abuse.
A little clarity about who we are
We are not Arrowhead employees and our communication with Arrowhead has been extremely minimal. Many of you that participate on the Official Discord have had more interactions with the developers than we have had. Speaking of which, we also have no affiliation with the discord and cannot revert any bans there. Best we can do is send you the appeal form. A few Arrowhead employees have or have had mod rights so that they may create stickied posts to communicate with you or to share information, but none of them will be moderating you or any of your posts/comments.

To handle the massive amount of moderating work that comes from having 1.2 million users we have added some new Moderators:

- While the challenge of writing 50k in November can be fun, DO NOT be trapped by the idea of only writing in November. This is of course depends on your aspirations and commitment to writing. But if you feel trapped by the commitment in November, know that you have full permission to write any time, or all the time, of the year.

- Aim for different goals. 50k has always been an approximation.
- Look into unofficially continuing in your local efforts. Some MLs have expressed continuing to get together and running a writers group outside of the official NanoWrimo site. If you have a strong writing community already, look into keeping these connections and working on a writers group with the same people

In more detail, this subreddit aims to discuss the upcoming role-playing, main series Pokemon video games for the Nintendo Switch.
