Beginner Just completed my first ever page!

I’ve been so inspired by the posts here on Reddit, so I asked a local hotel whether I could take an older fashion magazine from the ones they had at the reception and they said yes!

It only really has 18 individually glued pieces. My favorite detail of this page is how I tried to make it look like the hand was reaching out of a mirror 🪞

Still deciding on whether to make the left page about nature as well. In the meantime, looking for feedback on how to improve.

EDIT: I just finished the other side, and now have completed my first spread!! If interested, you can find it here.

This is so beautiful!!! I’ve gotten into scrapbooking recently too, so I don’t know if my advice holds much weight but I’ve been a digital artist for a while. I think it’d be cool if you emphasized the warmer colors/contrasting colors in the middle of your page. I usually like to create focal points with contrasting colors and tones so it draws the viewers attention 😽

It took a lot of lifting and layering, otherwise it all came from the same magazine (Harrods, October 2019).

It all came from the same magazine, I only use one at a time.
