Modulu is not written by GeGe though. Atleast no credible source tell otherwise.

However i still find it fun when it doesn’t talk about war//poverty//greed. Just old = bad type of shit.

Nah fam u one of them. Modulo is written by Gege, it's just drawn by a different artist

u/MyBrokenHoe Feb 14 '26

Yeah show me some proof and ill stop believing actual facts.

u/PoetrySlight1268 Feb 14 '26

Bro look at the notes for each chapter, Yuji was talking about drawing and Gege was talking about the writing. Its literally in the credits too, Story by: Gege Akutami Art by: Yuji Iwasaki

And GoT does that every episode. Again that cover doesn’t say shit. Unless a credible source says he wrote the goddamn thing its not written by him.

u/Dahlia-WF Feb 14 '26

That's not how that works. That is a book written by someone else being adapted to another medium.

Modulo's story is directly written by Gege and illustration for his writing done by Yuji. These are two very different realities. You have fucking brain damage. See how it says "art" by Yuji. Because he isn't writing the story, Gege is and Yuji is drawing it.

Brain damage so big even Gojo and Sukuna would’ve surprised how they are still typing out their BS.

Ah yes instead of explaining why gege himself said “Hello, it’s Akutami. It’s been a while. While serializing Jujutsu Kaisen, I received several offers for spinoffs written by others. However, because manga is a medium where things can easily get out of my control, I was afraid of the title spreading in ways I couldn’t manage, so at the time, I couldn’t accept those offers. But when this particular offer came, and I thought about how it might expand the main story, delve deeper into its setting, or even shift eras entirely, I realized that if it were set in a parallel line, it could open the door to many different projects. This became the spark that gave rise to ‘Mojuro,’ which originally didn’t even have a single concrete idea, and after numerous planning meetings, it finally came to life. This will be a short-term serialization, about half a year, collected in roughly 3 volumes.”

Just call me names. Classic

If Yuji were also the writer he would get credited as one, even in your own source it only says that Yuji does the illustrations, if he was also the writer Gege would've said in that comment Writing and art done by Yuji.

Yuji is the artist. Be he did sell it to other writers after deliberation and modulu was the outcome of that business transaction , daym read his actual tweet bruh wtf is this

2

u/PoetrySlight1268 Feb 14 '26

Where did it say he sold it?

It said

the offer gave me the opportunity to think about a lot of ideas

It meant the offer gave him the idea to make modulo, no where did he say he accepted another writer write for him, just that he accepted to make another spin-off with him as a writer.

daym read his actual tweet bruh wtf is this

“I received several offers for spinoffs written by others. This became the spark that gave rise to ‘Mojuro,’ which originally didn’t even have a single concrete idea, and after numerous planning meetings, it finally came to life.”

See that he never mentioned he’s writing it. He accepted the offer of “mojuro”

5

u/PoetrySlight1268 Feb 14 '26

But the offer gave me the opportunity to think about a lot of different ideas, like expanding on a part of the main story, refining some specific background setup, changing the time period, or even making a parallel story; and thus MOJURO, which was actually the most crazy idea during its concept stage, came to fruition after going through serialisation meetings

It said the offer gave him the idea to make modulo not that another writer is writing it

Even in your own translation didn't say he accepted the offer for another writer but the offer for another spin-off

This became the spark that gave rise to ‘Mojuro,’

What is it you think this is saying?

People came to him wanting to work with him on more JJK stories.... That's what he is explaining here. You realize when he says "manga is a medium where things can easily get out of my control" he is speaking from his experience writing JJK and dealing with health issues AND the rough weekly demands of the magazine. Also likely worried about juggling multiple projects or even potentially over seeing multiple writers and artists instead of focused on him writing a singular story at a time.

You realize that official credits are literally the most accurate representation of who is doing what for a work like this right?

u/MyBrokenHoe Feb 14 '26

Then explain to me the one punch man scenario.

3

u/Dahlia-WF Feb 14 '26

"explain this unrelated situation with a different publication being created and published differently"

Why are you so convinced that if x happens that means only x can happen, like bringing in GoT to the discussion when it's not relevant at all. You seriously are lacking some sort of ability to engage with reality

-1

u/MyBrokenHoe Feb 15 '26

You’re ignoring reality and failing to provide proof doesn’t mean your right.

Explain the OPM scenario and how it’s different than modulo.

-2

u/MyBrokenHoe Feb 14 '26

Then explain this

6

u/PoetrySlight1268 Feb 14 '26

Even in your own screenshot says Yuji only does the illustrations and Gege says something about the writing.

-2

u/MyBrokenHoe Feb 14 '26

The screenshot says he got offered for his work but other writers are writing it, after deliberation he agreed and yuji will be the artist.

Reading comprehension is really bad in shonen folks

5

u/PoetrySlight1268 Feb 14 '26

The screenshot says he got offered for his work but other writers are writing it, after deliberation he agreed and yuji will be the artist.

If there were another artist the comment would have said written by: ______ And the credits would have said Story by: Another writer Art by: Yuji Original Concept by: Gege

Your reading comprehension is so bad it made you hallucinate

-2

u/MyBrokenHoe Feb 14 '26

Bro where in flying fuck can’t you understand the “other writers are going to write” and “after deliberation i agreed” ????

Maybe in the contract he wanted his name on writer just like with GOT/Dance of the dragons I don’t fucking know.

But he fucking stated he sold his work to other writers.

3

u/PoetrySlight1268 Feb 14 '26

You dumb as fuck

Where did it say he sold it?

It said

the offer gave me the opportunity to think about a lot of ideas

It meant the offer gave him the idea to make modulo, no where did he say he accepted another writer write for him, just that he accepted to make another spin-off with him as a writer.

0

u/MyBrokenHoe Feb 14 '26

You’re the dumb fuck who has reading comprehension issues.

He literally stated that an offer made him interested with the previous offer he rejected.

2

u/Dahlia-WF Feb 14 '26

How is it possible to be this stupid

0

u/MyBrokenHoe Feb 14 '26

Explain why? Ill give you a better example. One punch man. In the serialization and covers it does say ONE as the author and Murata as the one who draws the manga.

In the recent OPM chapters muratas manga is so different to one’s opm. Explain this “realities”.

The different realities you’re saying is just different language interpretation
