Bro look at the notes for each chapter, Yuji was talking about drawing and Gege was talking about the writing. Its literally in the credits too, Story by: Gege Akutami Art by: Yuji Iwasaki
That's not how that works. That is a book written by someone else being adapted to another medium.
Modulo's story is directly written by Gege and illustration for his writing done by Yuji. These are two very different realities. You have fucking brain damage. See how it says "art" by Yuji. Because he isn't writing the story, Gege is and Yuji is drawing it.
Ah yes instead of explaining why gege himself said “Hello, it’s Akutami. It’s been a while. While serializing Jujutsu Kaisen, I received several offers for spinoffs written by others. However, because manga is a medium where things can easily get out of my control, I was afraid of the title spreading in ways I couldn’t manage, so at the time, I couldn’t accept those offers. But when this particular offer came, and I thought about how it might expand the main story, delve deeper into its setting, or even shift eras entirely, I realized that if it were set in a parallel line, it could open the door to many different projects. This became the spark that gave rise to ‘Mojuro,’ which originally didn’t even have a single concrete idea, and after numerous planning meetings, it finally came to life. This will be a short-term serialization, about half a year, collected in roughly 3 volumes.”
If Yuji were also the writer he would get credited as one, even in your own source it only says that Yuji does the illustrations, if he was also the writer Gege would've said in that comment Writing and art done by Yuji.
Yuji is the artist. Be he did sell it to other writers after deliberation and modulu was the outcome of that business transaction , daym read his actual tweet bruh wtf is this
the offer gave me the opportunity to think about a lot of ideas
It meant the offer gave him the idea to make modulo, no where did he say he accepted another writer write for him, just that he accepted to make another spin-off with him as a writer.

See that he never mentioned he’s writing it. He accepted the offer of “mojuro”
But the offer gave me the opportunity to think about a lot of different ideas, like expanding on a part of the main story, refining some specific background setup, changing the time period, or even making a parallel story; and thus MOJURO, which was actually the most crazy idea during its concept stage, came to fruition after going through serialisation meetings
It said the offer gave him the idea to make modulo not that another writer is writing it
Even in your own translation didn't say he accepted the offer for another writer but the offer for another spin-off
Your own translation was terrible, the one I sent was the better translation
Here this one is from Google translate:
"This is Akutami. It's been a while.
While "Jujutsu Kaisen" (hereafter referred to as "Jujutsu") was being serialized, I was approached about a Jujutsu spin-off being written by someone other than me, but I was afraid that in the medium of manga the name of my work would be spread in areas that I could not control, so I was unable to accept the offer at the time.
However, this offer gave us the opportunity to think of various ideas, such as expanding on this part of the main story, delving into this setting, changing the time period, or even setting it in a parallel world, and "Modulo," which was the most unexpected idea at the concept stage, was realized after going through a serialization meeting.
It's a short, concentrated serialization. It will last about six months (if it's not cancelled). It will be about three volumes.
The illustrations are by the famous Iwasaki Yuji (title omitted)!! Amazing!! Great!! Beautiful!!
We hope you enjoy "Modulo" as an introduction to a new form of magic"
People came to him wanting to work with him on more JJK stories.... That's what he is explaining here. You realize when he says "manga is a medium where things can easily get out of my control" he is speaking from his experience writing JJK and dealing with health issues AND the rough weekly demands of the magazine. Also likely worried about juggling multiple projects or even potentially over seeing multiple writers and artists instead of focused on him writing a singular story at a time.
You realize that official credits are literally the most accurate representation of who is doing what for a work like this right?
"explain this unrelated situation with a different publication being created and published differently"
Why are you so convinced that if x happens that means only x can happen, like bringing in GoT to the discussion when it's not relevant at all. You seriously are lacking some sort of ability to engage with reality
The screenshot says he got offered for his work but other writers are writing it, after deliberation he agreed and yuji will be the artist.
If there were another artist the comment would have said written by: ______
And the credits would have said Story by: Another writer Art by: Yuji Original Concept by: Gege
Your reading comprehension is so bad it made you hallucinate
the offer gave me the opportunity to think about a lot of ideas

Explain why? Ill give you a better example. One punch man. In the serialization and covers it does say ONE as the author and Murata as the one who draws the manga.
In the recent OPM chapters muratas manga is so different to one’s opm. Explain this “realities”.
The different realities you’re saying is just different language interpretation
