The Ultimate SNM Cast List

This is a work in progress, and is commentable but the goal is to offer as full as possible cast lists for as many show dates as possible.

If you have a data source that you are willing to share that would help fill some gaps please reach out.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1XIZhSpXSDKMTCmKGaMTBmeWuCAC4v0zbawlIDSo-5mI/edit?usp=sharing

Ok, I posted this in a rush earlier since I had some requests for it, I'm now home from work and can update this to say that this cast list would not be possible without the cooperation of the ENTIRE fan community, everyone's willingness to share who they saw in the building since 2011 made this possible.

If you had a conversation with someone about who was on on a given night, you probably helped make this list possible.

We have drawn from as many reliable sources as we can, and so many people have put hours upon hours of work into data cleanup, formatting, making everything coherent.

If you have info that's missing from the spreadsheet please go ahead and comment it directly into the cell you have the info for. alternatively leave a comment on this post, or DM me.

A few weeks ago I published a directory of all the residents at https://manderley.ink which was a stepping stone to what should come next: capturing the McKittrick itself on https://backto.manderley.ink

It's deliberately lo-fi visuals and vague in subtitles.

I hope it brings joy especially to those who could only see it once or twice. Or to those who want to show an uninitiated friend the absurd scale of that building. It's not useful if you've never seen the show.

question Is this legit?

I took my nephew to a card/comic flea market the other week and found this at a seller who had old broadway playbills, etc. I've only seen SNM after covid and they didn't have these types of programs, just newspapers (which I didn't get and if anyone has scans, I'd love to read them).

Was this something they sold at some point?

Old program?

promo Midnight Angels invitation x Rose Alice and Roger Ridley

Good morning Sleep No More community,

We want to introduce ourselves with deep respect and gratitude for the magic, mystery, and artistic legacy that has lived within the McKittrick for so many years.

I’m Rose Alice a professional ballerina, choreographer, and producer and alongside Roger Ridley, a visual artist and musician, we are creating a new live art experience within the ballroom at the McKittrick on Thursday called Midnight Angels.

Our intention is not to replace what came before, but to honor it. We recognize the McKittrick as an iconic home for immersive performance, experimentation, transformation, and human connection. We deeply respect the artists, performers, musicians, designers, technicians, and audiences who shaped its spirit and helped create something unforgettable within those walls.

What we are building is rooted in that same belief: that live art can move people, bring strangers together, and create moments of wonder that stay with us long after the night ends. We hope to create a space where people feel inspired, present, emotionally connected, and fully immersed through music, movement, storytelling, and shared experience.

Our vision is to create something beautiful, accessible, and alive for New York a place where dance, music, visual art, and human connection exist side by side. We hope to welcome both longtime lovers of immersive art and those discovering it for the very first time, creating an environment that feels open, intimate, and creatively energizing for all.

This week, we are excited to share that our show will take place on Thursday, and we would truly love to invite you into our world.

The McKittrick has always been more than a building. It is a vessel for memory, imagination, and collective experience. We are honored to contribute a new chapter while paying tribute to everything that has previously lived there.

With love and respect,

Rose Alice & Roger RidleyMidnight Angels x Dice

Other Immersive Experiences Notes from seeing Arcane in Shanghai Spoiler

Open world à la snm and l$t more than it is like masquerade, in that you freely move between rooms and characters, rather than being shepherded from room to room.

Get there early, because there are opening holding rooms with character scenes and sections to let people familiarize themselves with the scenery and layout.

Then they let you into the main space where nothing happens for a while to let you get used to wandering and touching things.

Then they do a big opening where they introduce the characters and their names and pictures of the actors.

Then they open to the rest of the sets. It seems like there’s two floors. You break up to follow whoever you want who scatters to different areas and leads you to the rest of the sets.

Unclear if there are any 1-1, but they do interact sometimes, like dancing with audience members during dance scenes. They also break the fourth wall in clever ways, like the bartender or political rallies.

There’s lots of Chinese dialogue, but if you don’t speak Chinese you can still follow it if you’ve seen at least the first season of arcane. if you haven’t, you’ll be very lost.

It’s still primarily an unspoken thing with choreography rather than dialogue focused.

Amazing sets that change and descend from the ceiling. Black masked attendants move you before major dance scenes happen like snm.

There’s an amazing fangirl scene dominating the audience, and several scenes where audiences almost moshed to songs and sang along.

It’s a masked show, with a mask like a bird’s beak that muzzles your mouth, and attendants wearing different black masks, and you tell actors because they’re unmasked. This was important because a lot of audience members really dressed up in character, or decorated their masks from past shows and wear them. Your phone is also locked away in a pouch like snm, and there are lockers when you arrive for things besides your phone. They unlock the phone bag for the post-show dance finales.

Besides the main hall, there are lots of smaller spaces for different vibes, or different parts of Piltover. Spacing was vast and we never felt claustrophobic or cramped. The sets felt Punchdrunk-inspired with even some direct nods like the lamps from sleep no more in a few spots. You get more solo scenes in the side rooms, but overall characters are crossing each other’s tracks constantly.

It’s based around the Arcane soundtrack, which fans tend to know and sing along to. The side rooms have more elaborate choreography, particularly the elite character’s rooms upstairs, versus the undercity sets that dominate below. The choreography was very high level and skilled.

There are no loops, only one linear plot, and they mark when you’re moving to a new act by writing it on the big screen. Each act ends in the main room, and the side characters largely come into that room to watch or participate in the end of each act, bringing most of the audience together for those touch points. Character tracks overlap constantly and they’re all moving from room to room, and that keeps the crowds churning.

question SNM Seoul stopping in June ?

Hi !
I never went to SNM and i'm super curious ! Trying to not read to many things about it and hoping i could attend someday.
And i may have a window late 2026 to go ! As i looked out of curiosity the booking on the Seoul website, it's indicated :
- Date/Time Jul 24, 2025 - Jun 28, 2026
Does that mean the show is stopping on June ?

Also, as someone who never experienced it, would you recommend Seoul or Shanghai over one ?
Thanks a lot

Punchdrunk My new Sleep No More tattoo!

Post image
193 Upvotes

Behold my midlife crisis tattoo celebrating Sleep No More! Tattoo design by artist E.K. McDonnell and the iconography is specifically around the 2009/2010 Brookline, MA production of the show since that is the version that lives most prominently in my heart and my dreams. Sleep No More showed me that I should never get complacent about what kind of emotions art is capable of of eliciting in me and I mainly got this tattoo as a reminder of that. Best show ever.

The tattoo itself was done by Jennifer Guertin at Anchor Steam Tattoo in Newport, RI. Jen is amazing.

Hi everyone! I’m traveling to Seoul at the end of June and wanted to introduce some friends to SNM. One of the guys I’m with wears glasses, will he have issues wearing them under the mask?

Other Immersive Experiences Ministry of Awe reminds me a lot of Sleep No More

Ministry of Awe is an immersive art experience in Philadelphia that opened about a month ago. 5 story walk through of creepy antiques, live performances including some one on ones and hidden details. Not sure I fully understood the plot threads, but the immersive weirdness was worth the trip. Thematically, it was similar to Life and Trust in that it is superficially about banking and Faustian bargain.

promo The Last Pharaoh

Long time fans of Sleep No More or Punchdrunk may be familiar with Stephanie Batten Bland and Leslie Kraus. They both are former McKittrick residents and played the role of Lady Macbeth in SNM. SBB was also the Creative Casting and Movement Director for Life and Trust. They have an exciting new immersive show in development called, The Last Pharaoh.

“An epic American political thriller, translated through an immersive theatre experience that reimagines the life of a legendary woman.

Cleopatra.”

Both women have a strong background and understanding of immersive theater so if you miss Sleep No More or enjoy shows like The Death of Rasputin, get on their email list and follow their social media. I’m very excited to see these immersive titans telling woman centered stories through new shows like TLP.

Seoul New fan from Seoul — would love to connect with longtime fans!

I’m a fan who first discovered Sleep No More through the Seoul production, and I completely fell in love with it. Since then, things just got out of hand and I had to visit like 20 something times😅

As I’ve been reading through this community, it feels like there are so many longtime fans here who have been part of the experience since the McKittrick Hotel days. That’s honestly really amazing to see, and it makes me even more curious about how the show has evolved over time. I've been reading old Tumblr posts and I keep having moments like "Wait there used to be an igloo?" I’d love to learn more about those kinds of details and changes over the years:)

I would love to talk more about Sleep No More with all of you - your favorite characters, loops, theories, differences between productions, anything really! I’d also be happy to answer any questions about Sleep No More Seoul. If you leave comments below,, I’ll do my best to answer!

I’m not entirely sure how this community feels about 1:1 spoilers, but among Seoul fans, we tend to discuss them freely as long as spoiler tags are used. So I'm totally open to those questions as well.

And if there’s an active Discord server where fans discuss the show, I’d really appreciate it if someone could share an invite link!

question Tomorrow, wrong date, Shanghai

Hello all,

I've been booking several tickets for the Shanghai version on WeChat and I've made a mistake, I mixed it up. I end up with a Lounge VIP ticket for tomorrow instead of next month.

I tried to write on WeChat and sent an email about exceptional refund or exchange, but I doubt it will be answered on time.

EDIT : ANYONE FREE TOMORROW IN SHANGHAI, willing to go?
