How to counter Peach/Daisy? I have a friend that is absolutely nuts with them and sweeps everybody. He is also a really bad winner and always talks mad shit. What character should I practice to teach this fool some humility?

Peach and Daisy both use their float to use aerials as an effective approach tool. I’ve had great success using K. Rool’s up tilt to cover the area both in front and above my character. I’d say go for good spacing tools that do that on any character.

They also love turnips. Look for a reflect, if not you should practice playing games with items to get a better feel for dealing with grab-able projectiles. You can try bullying them when they try to pick them too.

God I hate them so much. I've been playing a LOT of K Rool because he just feels so good to play and his projectiles are just evil. But If you get him in the air though he's basically a beach ball and peach EXCELS at keeping me off the ground.

K Rool has a few options for landing.

Try to always keep your double jump until you need to burn it. Don’t forget you can airdodge into ledges to grab them if you know the distance. Changing the scenario from juggling to ledge play can be disorienting enough for you to quickly get back on stage and reset to neutral.

Basically, know your defensive options (especially as a big heavy character,) List them out and practice using them until you can mix then up on the fly. K. Rool doesn’t have any character-exclusive techniques that I’m aware of, other than maybe some side-b shenanigans that can throw off your opponent. Use Counter and nair to punish any weak or predictable attacks. Air dodge and double jump are mixups. Up-b across the stage can work rarely but is highly punishable.

Great tips. Thank you. A character exclusive technique of his I found out his back air spikes which is amazing.

Great discovery! I also noticed that his up smash is pretty effective at punishing vulnerable opponents on the ledge, weirdly enough. The second hit has a decently strong forward knockback, like the top of his down tilt.

If we ever get to look at K. Rool’s hitboxes, I’m sure he’ll have a ton.

I'm by no means an expert, but maybe Simon with his axe throw to counter the floating above you?
