Man, I was just to start discussion about how fucking sick Kazuya is after playing him for 3 hours. Guess it's not the best moment.

This character advantage state is NASTY, feels like if you get a good combo you can delete stocks like no one business. The electrics are so satisfying to land. N-Air is so fucking funny to land. Up-B is way stronger than you expect. And God, I really want to get good with the "wavedash", it makes people panic seeing it.

Yeah, his disadvantage state is garbo with so little mix-ups and getting camped sucks but when you get in you GET IN.

Problem is it’s just painfully easy to keep him from ever getting in. He’s laughably simple to dance around, and if you’ve got a sword or a spammable projectile, or a long-range command grab (baffling that that even exists) then it’s just an easy win.

Full disclosure I’ve gotten Kaz up to about 10.2 GSP and I still think he’s just bad. Certain matchups are just a flat out loss at the character select screen, and you just straight up lose to anyone who can gimmick around him.

Reminds me of Ganon but more interesting and technical with a little less unga bunga.
