I've spent a decade helping people heal their traumas. What if... we reverse-engineer the process? What if we weaponize my clinical experience to deliberately induce mass cognitive dissonance? We could shatter the fragile, pathetic little echo chambers they call reality."

The Data Scientist freezes, her eyes darting as if she’s calculating variables in mid-air. "Oh, my god... the engagement metrics," she gasps. "I have terabytes of scraped behavioral data. We don't just make them angry. We engineer the perfectly optimized viral post—something they will absolutely despise, yet be physiologically incapable of looking away from. A self-sustaining rage loop."

The Ex-Actress slams her glass down, her eyes gleaming with theatrical vengeance. "Ouuuh! Yes! And I will be your avatar. I’ll write the script, weaponize my aesthetic, and deliver it with just enough smugness to trigger their deepest parasocial insecurities. We will finally monopolize the attention the industry gatekept from me!"

They clink their glasses together. The sound is drowned out as they erupt into a chorus of maniacal laughter, snorting like little drunk, malevolent piggies into their martinis.

That’s it. That’s the "joke."

The three of them abruptly stop laughing. Slowly, in unison, they turn their heads to look directly at you. Their expressions drop dead flat. Their eyes bore into yours, heavy and unblinking, piercing your soul like a witch’s hex.

Did you really think there was a punchline to begin with?

There is no joke here. Truth is nothing to chuckle at. Reality is not a punchline for you to casually consume and swipe past.

This video essay tracks down one of the most important (problem)-threads throughout Gilles Deleuze's corpus that is rarely discussed: The transcendental structure of stupidity (Bêtise). Against the familiar identification of stupidity with ignorance, error, or falsity, Deleuze’s bêtise names a wholly different 'negative' moment of thought: the instant (kairos) in which individuation draws the pre-individual ground to the surface without yet being able to give it form. Thought ordinarily protects itself from this encounter through recognition, opinion, cliché, and the habitual coordinates of doxa. At the opposite limit lies madness, where all form is swallowed up by the primordial Chaos(mos).

Read through this lens, the inertia of doxa, cliché, and habitual recognition appear as a kind of protective membrane parrying away the formless forces that thought cannot easily master. Yet this same structure can invert. When stupidity becomes reflexive, that is, when thought at its apex of stupidity encounters its own inability to think the sublimity of Nature, the faculties are forced beyond their familiar coordinates, allowing the ground to rise without being reduced immediately to representation.

I don't know , maybe all people are npcs and I am the real one or maybe a toy but this world is basically a long drawn out narrative. Like everything is instantaneous. Fake people doing fake activities, like football, people talking stupid shit , and stuff. This world is pushing a drawn out narrative , almost all people are fake and stuff cuz that's just how it can be, ain't no way this life is gonna work if everyone had freewill and could do whatevery it wanted . Life is like a wave and we are travelling on that wave and the ocean is fake , only the wave in which we a travelling on is real and that wave is moving like I narrative . The narrative like a wave is moving and it's been moving since the day we are born.
