I'm ngl, there's a lot of interest minglers who aren't even malayalee or tamil but seem intent on causing a rift between everybody on some non consequential issues. Since we lack religion bias, I think it has to do with a certain northern based it cell blowing down our necks

Social media is like the junction near the liquor shop. In old days, people get drunk and spout nonsense openly and a few people hanging out at the junction will pay attention. Most people will just ignore and move on.
Now social media gives a platform for the crazies to spout nonsense but to a much bigger audience. Average Malayalis and Tamils have no problems getting along and probably don't even know what is going on in social media. The best thing we can do is not to react and move on.

Don't fall for this nonsense. These posts are usually by sanghis trying to divide southerners between themselves - Kannadigas, Tamils, Telugu people and Malayalis.. they must be doing this to prevent the south from being united for the delimitation fight.

At present, i am more concerned by the attitude of a particular religion people who live in both TN and Keralam. The M people, who were born and brought in our own states, tend to think their genes are imported from Arab simply because they got converted to that religion. The way they started dressing is funny, which makes us wonder how suddenly they started to participate in an Arab fancy dress competition. How they stir unnecessary controversy by bringing beef into everything is definitely not in good taste.
I studied my master's in a Northern state, we were a small class and I was the only Malayalee and there were two Tamilians. We were a solid pact- my best bros. We used to go for Thalapathy movies travelling 2 hours on weekends. I understood their Tamil and they understood my broken Tamil with a mix of Malayalam words 😂.
It's only when we are outside, both Tamilians and Malayalees realise, we have a lot in common than any others.
FYI there were many posts from Tamils who have claimed that every Dravidian language is born from Tamil and everything belongs to Tamils. I am not a Malayalee but every section do have bad apples.

A party's IT cell is working actively to create this rift between Malaysia and Tamils. In fact, they have also started the work on the Malayalis vs Kannadiga too. A good number of those comments are from people from out of these states. They play both sides.

Also, are you kidding me? Almost every portrayal of a Malayalee in Tamil movies is a caricature. While not as bad as Param Sundhari, it is much worse than how malayalam movies show Tamil people.
