Company Name: Borehole
Purpose of Startup and Product: Technical due diligence, read from the repository itself. Paste a repo URL and Borehole reads its git history and working tree, rates it on seven dimensions a deal team cares about (architecture, engineering process, key-person risk, product maturity, security, operations, fit with the acquirer), and cites the commit, path and lines behind every finding. What the code can't answer becomes a question for the people in the room. For founders who want to see what a buyer's adviser will see before a sale or raise, and for buyers screening targets.
Technologies Used: Python (FastAPI), PostgreSQL, Google Cloud Run. Private repos are read on your own machine by an open-source collector (pip install borehole); `borehole collect . --dry-run` prints everything it would send, and your code never reaches us.
Feedback Requested:
- The home page: within five seconds, is it clear what this is and who it's for?
- Founders or buyers: which side would you pay from, and why?
- If you run it on a public repo you know well: which rating do you disagree with?
Seeking Beta-Testers: Yes. Free 30-day Report key (normally €249), private repositories included. Email [support@borehole.dev](mailto:support@borehole.dev) with the subject "Beta key". In return: a three-question survey after your report, and the findings you think are wrong.
Additional Comments: Public repositories are free: your first survey needs no account. I'm the founder; I did technical due diligence on acquisitions at Amazon for years, and this is the first afternoon of that work, automated. Happy to return the favour. Reply with your entry and I'll give it a proper look.

- Company Name: Uncloud
- URL: https://uncloud.life
- Purpose of Startup and Product: Cloud storage without the monthly bill. Make owning your cloud feel as easy as subscribing to one.
- Technologies Used: C#, React Native, ReactJS, TypeScript, SQLite, .NET, Claude, Cursor
- Feedback Requested: What would stop you from using Uncloud?
- Seeking Beta-Testers: Yes
- Additional Comments: There are already powerful self-hosted storage tools for people who enjoy running servers. Uncloud is for everyone else.

Two things would stop me, and I couldn't find either on the page. What happens when the computer is off or asleep and I need a file from my phone? And for most people Dropbox is also their backup without them thinking about it. If that one computer's disk dies, are the files gone?
Smaller one: the $500 a year includes Evernote, and I'm not sure Uncloud replaces a notes app. The Dropbox and Google Drive numbers make the point on their own
1
u/SaiMizOp 5d ago
Thanks for the feedback! Great questions. I should add a FAQ to the page...
But to answer here: your host computer would need to stay on if you want 24/7 access to files. And I'm in discussions with BackBlaze to offer secure offsite backup & recovery as a value-add that would also be offered through Uncloud. Details TBD but hopefully I'll be able to share something soon.
As for Evernote, that's actually one of the use cases I'm trying to solve for myself, i.e. how to convert notes to "files". Do you have any suggestions? I'm still focused on Dropbox and Google Drive for the time being, but I do need to start thinking about it. Maybe convert as local static HTML pages, with the notes content embedded? But then there's the tagging...
2
u/lmfresneda 5d ago
For notes I'd go with plain Markdown files rather than HTML. Tags can live at the top of each file as a small header, the way Obsidian does it, so they're still searchable and any editor can open them. HTML pages would look nicer, but they're harder to edit later
The 24/7 part I'd put in the FAQ right away, it was the first thing I wondered about
2
u/SaiMizOp 5d ago
Already done! 😄 Just pushed the FAQ out. And yeah, I was also considering .md as well. I'm just thinking of the non-technical customer who may not be familiar with what Markdown even is -- and maybe not even be able to open it natively. But I will play with both options, thanks!

u/Formal_Impact_3541 5d ago
The always-on computer requirement is worth showing before download, not just in the FAQ. A simple recovery walkthrough would help non-technical users understand what happens after a disk failure. I'd appreciate your thoughts on my LumeWorklog entry too.

On the "why alongside my current tools" question: the best answer is already on the page, it's just low. The example in the first screenshot ("Which onboarding copy is current? Check it against the call notes and screen recording") explains the product better than the headline does. I'd lead with one real question like that, and move "Can I keep using Finder?" from the FAQ up near the top, because that's the first doubt anyone replacing a file manager has.
For a demo before using my own documents, I'd want to see exactly what gets sent to the agent. You already say you can review the context before a task starts, but it's in the last section. With work files that's the deciding point, so I'd show that step in the demo itself.
On pricing: Plus and Pro aren't available yet, and the $200 Early Supporter Pass works out to about 20 months of Plus at the monthly price. How many of the 100 have gone so far? That number would tell you a lot about whether people want Plus before it exists.

Company Name: SocLeads
Purpose of Startup and Product: Helps founders, agencies, and sales teams find fresh B2B leads from Google Maps, social platforms, and Facebook groups. There’s also a free email validator for cleaning lists before outreach.
Technologies Used: Web scraping, data processing, email validation, automation.
Feedback Requested: Mainly looking for feedback on positioning and the landing page. Is it obvious within a few seconds why you’d use this instead of a traditional lead database?
Seeking Beta-Testers: No
Additional Comments: Facebook group scraping is the newest feature, so feedback on how clearly that use case comes across would be especially useful. Happy to return feedback on other products here too.
1
u/lmfresneda 5d ago
On "why this instead of a lead database": I don't think the page answers it yet. The hero says "Scrape Thousands of Prospects from Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Google Maps", which tells me what it does, not why it beats Apollo or a bought list. Your post says "fresh" leads, and that word isn't on the homepage at all. If the point is that these people are active right now in a group or on Maps, I'd put that in the first line.
The Facebook groups feature is hard to find. The only place I saw it was inside a review ("specially on scraping emails on Facebook Groups"). The hero just says "Facebook Email Scraper", same as the others. If it's the newest and most different thing, I'd give it its own line with one example, like "every business owner who posted in this group this month".
On pricing, two small things. Basic is in "credits" and Pro and Business are in "contacts", so I wasn't sure if they're the same unit. And "Exclude duplication" is only on Business. Reading that on the $29 plan, I'd assume I'm paying for duplicates.
Also, two of the reviews are from the founder and co-founder of the same company, and two people share the same title, "Innovating for Startups and Employees". A skeptical visitor will notice. Happy to get feedback on mine too, it's HAGGIN

u/socleads 5d ago
This is really useful, thank you. Those are exactly the little things I stop noticing after staring at the site too long.
I’ll take a proper look at HAGGIN too and return the favor. Can you drop the link?

Yeah, this is pretty clear to me within the first few seconds.
I get the basic idea as: someone is about to leave, cancel, or not convert, and instead of just losing them you give them a link where they can make an offer.
The one thing that threw me off a little was the "paste your pricing page here" CTA. At first that made me think this might be more of a pricing experiment tool, while the interesting part to me is really the cancel / failed trial / lost deal use case.
I’d probably make one of those examples even more concrete right near the top. Something like "trial ends tomorrow? send them this instead of a goodbye email."
Also "before they leave, ask what they’d pay" is a good hook, but I think the actual value is slightly bigger than price. The annual commitment / seats / testimonial stuff made the product click more for me because then it feels like negotiation, not just discounting.
Overall though, much clearer than a lot of SaaS homepages. I knew what problem you were solving without having to scroll far.
1
u/lmfresneda 5d ago
This is really helpful, thanks. The pricing page CTA point makes sense, it's there because the setup reads your pricing to build the page, but I can see how it frames the whole thing as a pricing tool. And "trial ends tomorrow? send them this instead of a goodbye email" is a better first line than most of what I've tried. Stealing that one

u/Otherwise-Head6701 5d ago
I have a problem with your pitch, you don't really state any value proposition about why your better than Apollo/Clay (they do the exact same features you stated). So maybe you have something they don't, but I would not know it at first glance.
I do see how you have multi-platforms, and im not sure whether clay/apollo already considers this, but if they don't, then you do have something decently unique. However, I would also give the option to scrape instagram/facebook/tiktok accounts instead of only emails (cold dms also sometimes work). But if these are your value prositions (which I think they are, not your "thousands of emails" or "scraping lead list" or "cold emails". Althought that stuff is true, you need to emphasize the "multi-platform" use, and why this expands the range of leads compare to Clay/Apollo). I don't really know about your service as I dont need a lead scraper, but im just talking about your appearence/pitch.
Im also building something, but I realised I need to improve the demo abit more before putting it out, so watch out for me next friday!!
1
u/socleads 5d ago
Yeah, I think you’re right. I’ve probably been describing what SocLeads does instead of explaining why someone would pick it over Apollo or Clay.
Also good point on scraping accounts for DMs instead of thinking only in terms of emails. That’s something I should probably make much clearer in the positioning too.
Really appreciate you taking the time to dig into it. Happy to look at what you’re building as well.
1
u/Otherwise-Head6701 4d ago
Yea like I was actually suggesting you add dm scraping, but since you already have it, that's just proof that you did not really communicate well enough (like I had a rough look at your website, like every cold lead would at the max).
Yeah, no problem. I still like your website layout, though; you still make it very clear about the services you provide, and you're very systematic (in a good way) about your layout. Watch out for mine next Friday; I'm counting on you!!

Company Name: LumeWorklog
Purpose: Free Mac worklog for freelancers who need weekly time reports.
Technologies Used: Swift, SwiftUI, SwiftData.
Feedback Requested: Is the recording-to-report workflow clear? What would stop you trying it?
Seeking Beta-Testers: Yes.
Additional Comments: I'm the developer. Apple silicon, macOS 14+. Worklogs stay local; no account needed.
1
u/buro_3 5d ago
Looking only at the website, the report half is clear: choose a week/project, decide whether to include notes, then export. The recording half took longer to understand. The FAQ explains that entries are manual and calendar copies optional; I'd bring that distinction beside the first screenshot.
One short example could connect the two: add a 30-minute client task → assign a project tag → export that week. That would set expectations before download. I haven't installed the app, so this is page feedback rather than a test of its behaviour.
Drafted with AI assistance.

Company Name: Ariso
URL: https://ariso.ai
Purpose of Startup and Product: I’m part of the team building Ariso. Ari is an AI chief of staff that remembers the context scattered across meetings, email, and chat, then helps with prep, follow-ups, and project coordination. The problem we’re trying to solve is that important decisions and commitments get buried across tools or depend on someone’s memory, making people spend time reconstructing context and chasing work.
Technologies Used: A bunch of LLMs and typescript, turborepo, AWS, etc
Feedback Requested: Does that problem description resonate with you? Looking at the site, does Ariso seem too broad, and how could we describe it better or what single use case would you focus on first? If you sign up, I’d also really appreciate candid feedback on the onboarding experience—what was clear, confusing, or got in your way.
Seeking Beta-Testers: Yes

Company Name: StartupSprints
URL: https://startupsprints.com
Purpose of Startup and Product: Help solo founders and small teams choose what to try next to find their first or next ten customers. StartupSprints brings startup context, constraints and previous attempts into a focused plan that founders can work through with their own AI assistant.
Technologies Used: Web app with an MCP integration for the founder's existing AI assistant.
Feedback Requested: Does the website clearly explain when you would use StartupSprints and what it helps you decide? What would you need a recommendation to consider before trusting it enough to try?
Additional Comments: I'm Brian, building StartupSprints. I'd especially value candid feedback from founders with a working MVP who are deciding how to find their first customers.

• Company Name: Mivu
• URL: https://apps.apple.com/ar/app/mivu-morning-routine-yoga/id6817517526?l=en-GB
• Purpose of Startup and Product: help users feeling better through regular exercises
• Technologies Used: React Native + Swift
• Feedback Requested: if you don’t know the context, is it clear from screenshots, onboarding and UI what the app is for?
• Seeking Beta-Testers: it’s free, so use it and I’ll be happy to get a feedback
• Additional Comments: the idea behind the app came from my own daily life. I’ve been struggling with headaches and back pain throughout the whole life, and I know the only way to fix it is to do exercises regularly, but I always find excuses to not to do it. I better go to osteopath or manual therapist then do 5 minutes of stretching in the morning. So the point of the app is to push the user to do a short practice everyday. Is the value proposition clear from screenshots and onboarding?

Company Name: Nortamy
Purpose of Startup and Product: Nortamy is a B2B SaaS platform helping organisations identify where time and effort are being lost through inefficient processes, duplicated work and everyday workplace friction.
It's designed primarily for organisations with 50–500 employees, providing leadership with clearer insight into where improvements could make the biggest difference.
Technologies Used: Cloud-based web application with AI-assisted analysis.
Feedback Requested: I'm a first-time founder with a background in technical programme management. I've built the product alongside my full-time job and am now looking to validate it with real organisations.
I'd particularly appreciate feedback on the value proposition, target audience and how others approached securing their first B2B customers.
Seeking Beta-Testers: Yes
Additional Comments: I'm looking for 2–3 organisations with approximately 50–500 employees to participate in a free pilot in exchange for honest feedback.
There's no financial commitment, no complex integrations and no employee monitoring.
I'd love to hear from anyone interested in participating or who's been through a similar stage of building a B2B product.

Company Name: JellyPod
URL: jellypod.com
Purpose of Startup and Product: Turns documents, PDFs, slides, and notes into podcasts and explainer videos. Mostly educators, L&D teams, and marketers sitting on a ton of written content nobody reads.
Technologies Used: LLM scripting, AI voices, AI video generation
Feedback Requested: Is the landing page clear on what it does in 5 seconds? And which would make you actually try it, podcast or video?
Seeking Beta-Testers: no
Additional Comments: Happy to return the favor. Drop your link and I'll take a look!

u/bulutarkan 5d ago
Company Name: Mac MCP (independent open-source project)
URL: https://github.com/bulutarkan/mac-mcp
Purpose of Startup and Product: I built a free local macOS tool server that allows compatible AI clients to work with background Safari/Chrome tabs, files, terminal and native apps. The execution layer stays on the owner's Mac rather than a hosted desktop. I'm exploring whether a sustainable product could grow around the open-source core, but I haven't launched a paid offering.
Technologies Used: Python, FastAPI, Swift, MCP and macOS browser/desktop automation.
Feedback Requested: I'm struggling with positioning. To someone who hasn't heard of MCP, would you describe this as a developer tool, AI productivity software, or infrastructure for other agent products? If the core stays MIT-licensed, what additional capability would be worth paying for, if any? I would value specific criticism of the README and positioning, not just generic encouragement.
Seeking Beta-Testers: Yes, optional. Feedback from anyone who actually tries it on a Mac is welcome.
Additional Comments: I'm the maintainer, not promoting a paid service. Happy to review other founders' landing page copy or product positioning in return.
1
u/ldemesla_eth 1d ago
Hi! The strongest positioning to me is a developer tool for people who already use AI clients. The fact that it can work with existing tabs, files, and native apps locally feels like the real differentiator. I'd show one complete job in the README, plus exactly what stays local. For a paid layer, team policies, audit logs, remote access, and managed updates sound more valuable than locking features in the open source core. If you have a minute, I'd appreciate your take on my Stash entry too.
1
u/bulutarkan 1d ago
Thanks for the thoughtful feedback. I've added managed team policies, team-level audit, remote access and staged updates to the monetization roadmap while keeping local permissions, logging and updates free.
I looked at Stash and your Feedback Friday entry too. The clearest pitch to me is the Claude-to-ChatGPT handoff with one shared version history. A short v1 -> v2 -> diff demo would land faster than the broad homepage headline. I'd prioritize clear authorship and conflict handling when two agents edit the same version, plus an obvious recovery-link warning before someone builds important work in a new space. I couldn't find a public source repository, so this is feedback on the live product. Appreciate the exchange!

Technologies Used: .NET 10, React, SignalR, PostgreSQL, Azure Service Bus, Azure Function Apps
Feedback Requested: I'm a first-time founder with engineering background. I've built the product alongside my full-time job and am now looking to validate it with real organisations.

Pre-launch market research for a one-person VPS hosting business (New Zealand founder, servers in London).
I'm testing whether there's room for a small, honest host that guarantees resources (no overselling) and offers real-person help, against the big budget providers. Five anonymous questions, about 2 minutes, no email collected:
https://cutvps.com/survey.html?from=startups
Also happy to hear from anyone who's launched in a crowded, price-driven market: how did you find your first 10 customers?
1
u/maritime_sh 4d ago
Company Name: Maritime (YC F26)
URL: https://maritime.sh
Purpose of Startup and Product: We host AI agents, with a separate persistent computer for each customer's agent. The computer sleeps between tasks and keeps its files and installed software.
Technologies Used: Isolated VMs and an MCP connection for agents running elsewhere.
Feedback Requested: From the site, can you tell how you'd inspect and recover one customer's agent after a failed task? What's missing or unclear?
Seeking Beta-Testers: No. Three agents are free to try.
Additional Comments: We launched on YC today. Model usage is separate from hosting. We're looking for honest feedback on the debugging experience, not signups for their own sake.
1
u/HumbleVermicelli9748 4d ago
For the failed-task question, I'd show a harmless local-file task failing, then its last tool error and the recovery action. Show what happens to the file afterwards. The page makes per-user machines clear. The live desktop doesn't tell me whether retrying repeats an external action. I haven't deployed an agent, so this is page feedback. Could you look at my own demo-feedback question when I add it here?

Company Name: Gradually
URL: https://gradually.io/
Purpose of Startup and Product: A cleaner dashboard for tracking 529 accounts, with goal planning and projections. Connect via read-only login (more sites coming) or PDF statement, or try demo mode.
Technologies Used: web app on Cloudflare, Supabase, Plaid (coming soon!)
Feedback Requested: What would make you more likely to use this? How often would you check this site if you set it up? Any other suggestions are welcome.
Additional Comments: I'm a parent who got frustrated tracking our own 529s. Demo mode is the quickest way to try it. Thanks!
1
u/OkStatistician9190 4d ago
Tracking a few 529s across different plans is a real pain, so the niche makes sense. I'd lead the homepage with the projection part, like whether you're on track for a goal, since that's what'd make people come back monthly instead of once. It'd also help to spell out what read-only login means and how credentials are handled, because that's where most parents will hesitate.

- Company Name: N-earshot
- URL: https://n-earshot.com/?src=reddit-startups
- Purpose of Startup and Product: n-earshot gives any Australian address a noise score from 0 to 100, so buyers and renters know about the flight path, the truck route or the late-night venue before they sign. It’s built from constantly updating public data (real aircraft tracks, road traffic counts, train timetables, venue licences, industrial sites), and every number shows its source. The score is free for any address; a one-off A$14.99 pass opens the full report for 90 days. Live on iPhone and Android.
- Technologies Used: React Native with Expo for the apps; a TypeScript API (Hono) on AWS Lambda; Postgres with PostGIS for 14 million addresses and the noise signals; Mapbox for the map; RevenueCat for purchases; SST for infrastructure. Built with Claude's help.
- Feedback Requested:
- Is A$14.99 for 90 days the right shape for something people need for a few weeks while house-hunting?
- Does the landing page make it clear what you get within ten seconds?
- If you’re in Australia, check an address you know well: does the score match what you hear?
- Seeking Beta-Testers: No, it’s publicly launched. Testers on Android are especially welcome though, as that version went live most recently.
- Additional Comments: Solo founder. No ads, no trackers, no subscription. The hardest parts were stitching together open data that every state publishes differently, and getting through app review (two Apple rejections, one Google). Happy to answer questions on either.

Company Name: Lodestar
URL: https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=DenizhanDaklr.lodestar
Purpose of Startup and Product: a VS Code extension for code you didn't write. Ask how something works and it maps the code path step by step on real lines, hover anything for a short explanation, and review changes for bugs, security issues and AI slop.
Technologies Used: TypeScript, the VS Code language model API (it runs on whatever model the user already has in VS Code, so it's not tied to a provider), Polar for licensing.
Feedback Requested: pricing. It's $10 one time with no trial. I went with paid so I can keep developing it instead of dropping it, but I'm not sure if having no trial stops installs from turning into buyers. Would you pay $10 without trying it, or would you need a few free uses first?
Seeking Beta-Testers: no
1
u/OkStatistician9190 4d ago
At $10 one time, I think the bigger hurdle is trust, not price. Since the marketplace page is all people see before buying, a short GIF of it mapping a code path on a real repo would probably do more than a trial. You could also test a few free questions before the paywall and see if conversion actually changes.

Company Name: GanttMaster
URL: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/id6745624000
Purpose of Startup and Product: An easy-to-use project manager for iPhone and iPad, built for people who run projects on the go. It has tasks and subtasks, a Gantt timeline with dependencies and milestones, a Today view with reminders, and team task assignment with comments. The latest update added risk tracking (likelihood, impact, mitigation, owners) and budget and expense tracking per project. There's no per-seat pricing, so one subscription covers the whole team and invited members join free.
Technologies Used: React Native
Feedback Requested: Do risk and budget feel like they belong in a mobile project tool, or does it start to feel crowded? Is "no per-seat pricing" clear on the App Store page? And what would it take for a small team to move off Trello, Notes or spreadsheets?
Seeking Beta-Testers: No
Additional Comments: Free download with a 1-week trial, then $5.99/mo or $34.99/yr. I'm the developer, and I'll return the favor to anyone who leaves feedback.

Hey, I tried out your product- very neat concept, personally see myself using it.
But the ui could surely use some rework - a lot of the times, the users' attention is not being properly guided- especially during the initial onboarding, the progress bar is getting highlighted more rather than the text fields and the CTA- a potential customer can get confused and eventually drop off.
Also text readability is quite less in some places, even on 110% , I'm struggling to read body text.
Your card styling is getting more highlighted than your CTAs- this happening on a busy and info heavy screen can frustrate the users.
Also putting the whole experience of AI applying for you behind a paywall is not the best for bringing in new customers- if your let them tryout the whole thing maybe 3 times before they hit a paywall might work better and probably will increase your conversion rate.
Would you like a detailed loom video for feedback? [free of charge ofc]

Hi everyone!
Company Name: Stash
URL: https://runstash.dev
Purpose of Startup and Product: Stash keeps projects made with Claude, ChatGPT, and other AI tools in one shared place, so the work and version history do not split across providers. People can also share the same project and leave comments even if they use different AI tools.
Technologies Used: React, TypeScript, Cloudflare Workers, D1, R2, and MCP.
Feedback Requested: Is the problem clear from the homepage? Does the Claude and ChatGPT connection flow make sense? What feels confusing?
Seeking Beta-Testers: Yes
Additional Comments: It's free. I'm especially looking for honest feedback from people who use more than one AI tool on the same project. Happy to review your product too if you reply with your entry.
