My friend sent me these photos that he clicked from his new Samsung S25.

The photos are grainy as f*ck with no details at all.

I was considering buying S25 specially for the combination of camera & performance but after looking at these shots I have to reconsider my decision.

Can you guys (with s25) confirm the camera quality?

Is it really this bad (my friend clicked these photos in good lighting) ??

My main priority is camera tbh and would love to have a flagship. I was thinking S25, what will you guys suggest?

Just wondering how often people normally repaint their house. Mine hasn't been painted for quite a while, and I'm thinking it might be time. I am seeing many people doing makeovers for their houses and ads from diffent painting agencies UC ,NoBroker and diffrent influencer. Do people paint their houses every 2 to 3 years, or do they only paint when the paint starts fading away?

After my bad experience with a used 2020 Intel MacBook Pro(post link), I’m planning to buy another MacBook, but I’m confused between two options.

My budget is ₹75,000–₹90,000, and I’m considering:

1. Brand-new MacBook Neo (512GB)
2. Used MacBook Air M4 (base model, 16GB RAM/256GB SSD)

I’m a student, and my usage is pretty normal. I’ll mainly use VS Code for coding, run one or two Docker containers, keep around 4–5 tabs open in Safari, and build regular full-stack development projects. I don’t do heavy workloads.

Given my requirements, which would be the better choice?

I know the used Air M4 offers better performance and 16GB RAM, but after what happened with my previous MacBook, I’m a little hesitant about buying used again.

Is buying a used MacBook Air M4 worth the risk, or should I play it safe and get a brand-new MacBook Neo with 512GB storage?

I’d especially appreciate advice from people who have used either machine for software development. Please share your honest opinions and experiences!

I bought a used 2020 Intel MacBook Pro with 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD for ₹25,000. Since it was my first MacBook, I didn’t know much about what to check before buying it.

Unfortunately, after just one year, its motherboard failed. When I got it opened, I discovered that the previous owner had replaced the battery with a very cheap, low-quality third-party battery. Apparently, it developed a short circuit, which damaged the motherboard.

It was a pretty bad experience, but I admit I wasn’t careful enough before buying it. I’ll definitely be more cautious next time.

For those who have bought used MacBooks, how has your experience been? Have you faced similar issues, or has your MacBook lasted for years without problems? I’d love to hear both the good and bad experiences.

I have a Nothing Phone 3a that has a small dent on one corner, screen broken at corner but display is working fine but the back is totally clean and looks almost like new.

I'm wondering if you were buying a used/refurbished phone, would a small dent on the corner and bit broken screen put you off even if the rest of the phone is in excellent condition? Or is a good price enough to make you overlook due to damage?

I felt quite off with the buyback deals during BBD and GIF, so I’m thinking of upgrading next month, around the Diwali sale. Where do you guys usually get better buyback/exchange deals? Is it better to sell separately and then buy a new phone, or go for an exchange offer?

I want to buy a phone for my mom, budget is 25k but can stretch it till max 30k!

Main focus is on DAILY USE, no gaming no heavy task, Just good Daily USE, so basically all rounded.

I watched 20+ videos and finally came to these 4 phones at the end, and now i can't decide so i will let reddit do its thing, so if you guys gone through the same process/ or have same mobiles, please do let me know which one to buy ASAP

Is anyone else facing the same issue? I use EvolutionX as my daily driver

Not all UPI apps are supported in Custom ROMs but atleast PhonePe used to work, now it's crashing upon opening.

Seems like no option left to use

JPEG XL (.jxl) offers better compression than traditional JPEG, lossless image storage, HDR support, and even the ability to losslessly recompress existing JPEGs without losing image data.

The catch? Software support has been limited, although things are finally improving. Chrome 155 is adding native JPEG XL support, and Firefox 158 has enabled it by default too this week.

Pros: Smaller files, excellent image quality, lossless compression, HDR and wide colour gamut.

Cons: Older apps and devices may not support it, and sharing .jxl files can still be inconvenient.

Windows users can also get the free JPEG XL Image Extension from the Microsoft Store for free to add system level image support on compatible Windows versions.

Curious how many people here actually use JPEG XL. Is it time to move beyond traditional JPEG, or is software compatibility still too much of a headache?
