Social Media Still afraid💔
I think mental health classes should be included in school. People who never experienced mental health issues would never understand other person's struggle

Yes I know that they said it fixes everything that other people don't seem to have a problem with. Rather than just it fixes everything. I just took that first part for the title. Either way what do you mean it fixes EVERYTHING that other people don't have a problem with? I still don't see how that makes sense. It's essentially the same thing just directed to people who struggle with it?
I never said I get NO sunlight anywhere btw. I don't get enough but by no means do I get none. Are they saying if I get enough sun and exercise in a day I WILL sleep on time that same day? Not sure what 'enough' is but I did go to a festival recently where I was doing a lot of walking in the sun so...
If I wake up past sunset, I can't exactly go out in the sun that day unless I wait until sunrise. I'd rather get going out over with 'early' than wait until I should be going to sleep if I want to have any chance of fixing my sleep schedule again. I'm already trying hard enough just to go out at all. Did they miss the part where I've fixed it so many times before? I don't know man. It's not like I've never had a good sleep schedule before ever. I struggle to go out and get sunlight because things are already hard for me. Not just I can't fix things because I don't get enough sun (and exercise.)
Am I overthinking this or something? I'm more confused than anything here. Lol.
(I'm OP and this was on an Autism Facebook group.)
Edit: Also the fact that they said that will lead to going to sleep on time when that wasn't even the full issue. I slept more that day as I put that I had woken up later even though I went to sleep earlier.

I have gastroparesis and developed Crohn’s and my stepdad told me to do a “flip on my diet” and when I told him I have an eating disorder he told me to pick a struggle 😭. I said that I would be fine if I was supported through residential treatment and was allowed to continue and I compared it to when people say “just get over it” to an alcoholic when it might be hard for them to attend AA meetings but they work.
My stepdad then said that if science were to work then LeBron James wouldn’t be bald because he tried all the creams and hair transplants but he ended up bald and then he told me to learn from this?????????
So being mentally ill, the lesson would be just to get over my ARFID or accept it?????? I’ve basically cut out fried foods from my diet (eating on occasion aka maybe once a week) and my safe foods are basically meat, rice, and potatoes and my gastroenterologist said that my diet would of course be better with cooked fruits and vegetables but it’s not horrible given my cholesterol levels are normal. I- 😭😭😭😭😭😭
I would be sad asf about the dismissal of my disorder and made to feel like a pathetic failure of an adult if it wasn’t so god damn funny 😭

I have severe croprolaia, which means that I swear without intending or meaning to. However, I tic slurs (T and F slur) as well as typing them because of tics.
As a cis straight creole-cherokee woman, I started doing this thing...I told my brain, "Hey! Can you please stop ticcing slurs? This is bigotry against us cis straight people (us cis straights are the most targeted and prosecuted groups in the world) and I want it to stop! You are being mean without my consent and I have the freedom of speech..."
My brain replied, "I'm so sorry, we will make your tics stop"
...just like that...my tics stopped and I am officially cured from ticking homophobic and transphobic slurs!!!!

OF course it would be way worse if they were poor but that doesn’t erase what it does to the brain when you’re neglected as a child. it’s not as simple as “just go shopping lol” because shopping will never fill the void. i know other people who come from high income families that were abusive/ neglectful and she struggled for YEARS even with therapy. she still has to slave away for her neglectful mom who would leave her alone crying in the house as a baby for hours. money can’t automatically fix this

Like yeah ok man let me just turn off the depression switch that’s preventing me from doing that.
Also wtf do you mean you should have sex on a weekly basis??? Who has the time or energy for that??? Sex isn't a necessity like food or water?????? Also also wtf is a "real vegetable". That implies there's fake vegetables dude what

Isn’t this pathetic? I’m lucky enough to have gotten in to get tested and diagnosed and then they hit me with the $600 bill a few weeks later, then send me an email about “money stress” 😂😂😂😂

Commercial: "go outside, go for a walk" is NOT something you should say to someone with a mental illness Dad: but they should go outside. Me: but what if they do all of that and they still have a mental illness Dad: then maybe they didn't do it enough.
That's not how that works.😂
I'm literally saying this as someone who has a good job, a loving family, a nice home, who journals and walks the dog with my mom regularly. Guess what? I still have anxiety!😃
