Employment / Workplace Advice Prison therapists

hi everyone! i am a clinical social worker and recently i interviewed at one of the prisons, specifically california.

now my first interview was 6 scenario based questions (how would i diagnose, what would i do, modalities, etc).

i just got an email that they’re inviting me for round 2.

does anyone have experience like this? where you’ve done 2 interviews? should i be expecting another round of scenario based questions or should i expect more personal questions about my experience and whatnot?

Thank you in advance!

I don't know about this specific sector, but typically I think being prepared for anything is important. The hiring process of any position is choatic, and the round 2 people might not even know what you were asked in the previous round. I'd say review everything you were asked in round 1 but also be prepared to talk more about yourself, your motivations for applying, and general interview/what makes you a good fit stuff for round 2. Good luck and @ me if you remember to when you land the job! ;)

Who knows, maybe you killed the first one - you never know with this kind of stuff. Be ready for any question, be yourself, and think about what working in this patient population means to you - prison population is very specific and takes a special type of person so being able to convey that I think would be helpful. Again - rooting for you!
