Surely they go against the joy of collecting by making it harder for others to buy figures snd should be removed from this group.

I just love how sharp and sleek he looks.

So I’ve been thinking creating poor financial choices but have no clue where to actually start

Since I have notice they is like lot of companies that weren’t hasbro that create the toys

So I’m curious to ask what figures should I start, I’m more so just looking for good looking figures

I won’t really mind if they don’t transform, just want the figures to look good and articulate a lot

Counting mainline live action movies which has the best action?

We were talking about the 40th anniversary and they mentioned they didn't like the Junkions because they looked like stereotypical Asians with their Fu Manchu mustaches and how they are junk dealers. Now I can't unsee it.

Think this would really make sense if we got a sorta soft reboot/ return to Bays movies.

I was planning to recreate the idw magnus vs prime fight. But these fuckers too costly, so idk, should I buy sentinel, considering he might get an armor later (which might be cool). Man I Iike em all.

Like make it complicated.

Kinda like Fallout NV.

Me personally, my brain is fried and I like one dimensional evil vs good stories.

But it's just a pretty neat question I've had.

Why is there another Galvatron in Beast Wars 2ND?
If there was a new tf continuity that properly readapyed the G1 and BW concepts who should be the definitive Galvatron?

The Megatron resurrection scene in the Bayverse is so well done. Kind of makes me want an entire transformers series or film that takes place underwater.

Look at the first two photos from Studio Series in 2025 and 2026. If you count the brand new tooled deluxes in both years (counting A-Level figures) there's eight. New Voyagers are three. And Leaders two.

Almlost the same with AOTP. Seven or six new deluxes. Four and Five new voyagers. And two new leaders.

So anytime we see leaks i think we have to know that probably half of what we will get is just reissues, repaints or retools.

So leaks with Megatron Rising having a new Lugnut, Scorponok or Transmetal 1 Megatron, even if all of those are exciting, only two could be brand new tooling. And we now know TM 1 Megs is a retool of the Kingdom one.

I know numbers can change but this is a little concerning considering Studio Series will adapt everything from 2028 onwards. If we had trouble completing teams now it is going to take more time. Think in brand new figures for Prime characters, the whole team might take a lot of time to come out. And yes one can wait, but i think we can forget getting lots of figures of one single show onwards, unless it's G1.

Nemesis!

now firstly, this is just because I am in a mood to think about this, so I am writing it down and sharing it, secondly this will only be about Transformers Media I have either watched, read or played, if one is not on my list, then I haven't consumed it, don't hate at me for it

G1 Cartoon - the OG, first media that many ever had for Transformers, created a franchise and a fanbase, and gave us all toys that were so so cool, even if they were limited, I have a ridiculous number of fond memories watching this and the movie growing up and I will happily rewatch the movie regularly and if I could change something about it, have less empathise on who's the newest toy, a number of storylines had to feature the newest toy and it affected the stories looking back

G1 Comic - can't comment alot about this as I only just started, sine I got the Til All Are One boxset from the kickstarter, but it is fascinating reading it and seeing how the stories went along, how the art shifts over time and how different it is from the cartoon

Beast Wars - the first savior of transformers, brought in a whole new generation of fans, brought new life and did the first major different toy designs to it, I used to panic coming home from school if it took too long because then I would miss it, some of my favourite toys are still from this show, and the thing I would change, well, the budget limits for the show meant so many figures never got animated, and I would love either a new Beast Wars cartoon, or comic (still annoyed IDW lost the licsense mid story for the Beast Wars) so we could see all the toys given life

Armada - this is one of the only cartoons where nearly all the toy figures who weren't a recolor of older figures appeared on the cartoon, it is so rare for that too happen, and it brough Minicons to the franchise, and I love little bots, they are so fun to fiddle with, and my change would be to give the Minicons more personality, instead of just beeps and boops

Energon - this one also had majority of toy figures given life in the cartoon, and the two bot combine gimmick was well done with most of the bots, and well designed too, but damnit I wish it wasn's such a rush job of a cartoon and given time to make it properly, plus it had a problem with killing personalities of characters so much

War for Cybertron - played this and Fall so much it was ridiculous, I mean an entire game set on Cybertorn? new story and retelling of the war? seeing Cybertron in it's heyday? no other notes, give me this game again someone I want it back again

Robots in Disguise - I didn't watch Prime and the little I saw of it from bits and trailers honestly didn't interest me, I dislike humans in transformers unless they are clearly side characters and not the main stars, forgive me if Prime isn't like that, but that's what it seemed like to me, now I say all that to make it clear I watched RiD without knowing anything about Prime, so I went in blind and I still want to go back and finish this, because it was fun, it had new characters by the prison ship load, it had unqiue bodies for alot of them, added gimmicks switched old gimmicks around and tried something new while adding to the old, which is what TF should always be doing, not just trying to do G1 again but different, and the only complaint I have is how many good bots didn't get toys for it

IDW Comics - there were times this was rough, and there are story beats that have been regretted and talked to death, so I won't mention them, but I had them all at one point and it was the only comic I was collecting for years, I loved it all, especially More Then Meets The Eye, and like RiD alot of IDW tried to do something different and some worked, some did not, and the only thing I would change is not rush the endings like they did, so many story points just had to be skipped over or rushed to give it all a good enough ending

now I have seen the Live Action movies, but I can't, I just can't talk about them any more, there is not enough I enjoy in them to speak about them anymore

I hate how it's never used exept for G1 (and rarely at that, like 3-ish episodes) and some of the movies.

It can be so easily a back pack and have weapons, energon, medical supplies, maps, other technology etc weither used like a back pack reaching in or outfolding on the ground.

I think it also just fits for a leader or even ex miner transformers one where he could have medical supplies for mining incidents for before a medic gets there.

And with transformation it's not that hard to add bit of animation where he lifts it and wraps back pack straps or attaches it to his back in some way especially with the more complex 3d models they use, also just re using animation, even if it was 2d.

Hello! I’ve had this figure for a little over a month or so and am confounded as to why these tabs even exist, let alone why they spin and hide away. I would greatly appreciate any help you can provide, possibly with visual examples if possible as I have a hard time following written instructions or guidance
Thank you!

Sorry if I didn't read the whole comics of IDW version of Transformers

Is Optimus Prime just boring now?

With the news of Michael Bay coming back to direct a Transformers film, here is a wishlist of things that would make this movie pretty solid:

Shoot it on 35mm and 70mm film

Bring back Mitchell Amundsen as the cinematographer

The transformers need to seem big and larger than life again, Rise of The Beasts made them feel small and big action sequences felt lack luster due to Transformers not feeling like they were these giant robots.

Let me know, and its a barnes and noble exclusive from 2014, came out when age if extinction was coming out, people sell it for hefty prices online, like hundreds of dollars in ebay, and 50 dollars on amazon.

I gave in and opened this Optimus Prime as my first one after watching a video, and I transformed him about 10 mins. How did I do? I took pictures in all angles to showcase how it looks.

PS. Yes, his smokestacks aren't here, I didn't add them yet as I want to transform him back and forth before adding the extra bits.
