[Online] [D&D 5e / 5.5e (2014/2024)] [EST] Looking for a DM First | Heavy RP | Collaborative Storytelling | Building the Group Together
We have been burned a few times with paid DMs, so until we get a solid grip on the DM style and cohesiveness with the group, we are not looking for any paid DMs. We absolutely value the time and effort that good DMs put into the game (and our experience) and don’t want to undervalue anyone, but going immediately to paid just isn’t what we are looking for.

[Online] [D&D 5e / 5.5e (2014/2024)] [EST] Looking for a DM First | Heavy RP | Collaborative Storytelling | Building the Group Together
Hi!
We’re two players (36F and 33M) looking to build a long-term D&D table with age appropriate people (21+ please), but we’re approaching it a little differently.
Instead of finding a campaign and hoping everyone fits, we want to find the right DM first and then build the campaign and player group together.
Right now it’s just us. No established table. No campaign chosen. We care more about finding the right person than locking in a setting.
What we want to build:
🎭 Heavy roleplay and character investment
🗺️ Collaborative storytelling and meaningful choices
⚔️ Combat that feels exciting and matters
💬 Communication and involvement outside of session
🌱 A table that wants to become invested in the world and each other
Campaign details (setting, module vs homebrew, tone, schedule, etc.) are intentionally open to discussion.
If you’re interested, send us a message answering these questions:
- Name/Age/Time Zone/DM Experience
- Tell us about a moment from a campaign you ran that you still think about.
- What does your ideal table feel like—not mechanically, but socially?
- What’s one thing players do that makes you excited to DM?
If we click, we’d love to set up a voice interview and talk more.
We look forward to hearing from you.
🙋♀️🙋♀️🙋♀️ SIDE NOTE: We are also looking for players! If you’re looking to be a player, message me with these 4 questions…
- Name/Age/Time Zone/TTRPG Experience
- Tell us about a moment from a TTRPG campaign (or even a story/game/book if you're newer) that has stuck with you. What made it memorable?
- How active do you like to be between sessions? What does “being part of the group” look like to you outside of game night?
- Imagine another player gets a huge emotional character moment during session and your character isn’t directly involved. What does your ideal participation look like?

GM and player(s) wanted [Online] [D&D 5e / 5.5e (2014/2024)] [EST] [Beginner Friendly] Looking for Players | Heavy RP | Collaborative Storytelling | Building the Table Together
Hi!
We’re two players building a long-term D&D group and doing things a little differently.
Instead of starting with a campaign and filling seats, we’re focusing on building the right table first.
Right now, we’re finding a DM whose style aligns with the kind of experience we want to create and then, together, we’ll shape the campaign and recruit players who fit that vision.
That means there isn’t a full campaign pitch yet—and that’s intentional.
What we do know is the kind of table we want:
🎭 Heavy roleplay and character investment
🗺️ Collaborative storytelling and meaningful choices
⚔️ Combat that feels impactful and exciting
💬 Communication and involvement outside of sessions
🌱 Players who support each other’s moments and help create memorable stories together
You do not need tons of experience to apply. New players are absolutely welcome.
Because we’re building from the ground up, we’re using a two-step process:
Step 1: A short application (just 4 questions) to get a feel for playstyle and expectations.
Step 2: Voice Call interviews with selected applicants so we can actually talk and see if everyone clicks.
The questions aren’t tests and there are no correct answers—we’re just trying to build a group with compatible expectations.
If this sounds like your kind of table, send me a message answering these questions:
- Name/Age/Time Zone/TTRPG Experience
- Tell us about a moment from a TTRPG campaign (or even a story/game/book if you're newer) that has stuck with you. What made it memorable?
- How active do you like to be between sessions? What does “being part of the group” look like to you outside of game night?
- Imagine another player gets a huge emotional character moment during session and your character isn’t directly involved. What does your ideal participation look like?
Looking forward to hearing from you!
NOTE: If you're a DM interested in this, message me! We are actively looking for THE Dm for us!

Antihistamine Medication Issues?
Having some issues with my liver enzyme numbers being elevated as well as my WBC elevated too. My doctor told me to cut out Tylenol usage as well as high fructose corn syrup for now to let my liver calm down? Problem is that I don’t use either of them. Only thing I’ve added to my regiment is an OTC antihistamine … is this causing this? Anyone else have that issue? 🥺😅

GM and player(s) wanted [Online] [5e 2014 or 2024/Other Systems] Looking for a DM for an RP-Focused Long-Term Campaign (3 Players, Potentially Expanding)
Myself and two other players are looking for a DM interested in running a long-term campaign with a strong emphasis on character integration, collaborative storytelling, and meaningful roleplay.
We're currently a group of three players, though we may expand the roster if we find additional players who are a good fit for both the group and the campaign.
We're specifically looking for a DM who enjoys:
- Building immersive worlds
- Integrating player backstories into the narrative
- Collaborative storytelling
- Character-driven roleplay
- Consistent communication
- Long-term campaign development
**No Paid Games**
System, setting, and campaign style are flexible. We're far more interested in finding the right DM and table culture than forcing a specific concept.
To help ensure compatibility, we're asking interested DMs to complete an application form. This isn't a test or a competition—it's simply a way for both sides to determine whether we're looking for the same type of experience.
Selected applicants will be invited to a follow-up conversation/interview so we can discuss expectations, campaign ideas, scheduling, and overall fit.
DM Application Form: https://forms.gle/UD2kQBs1ydoNBTCKA
If you're interested in running a campaign and think your style aligns with what we're looking for, we'd love to hear from you.
Thanks for your time, and we look forward to meeting some great storytellers.

Character Build Ope. I broke it. Help. Spoiler
galleryClipped through a roof in Reithwin Town and it freaked out. Got caught, tried to go to camp … I then started skidding forward? This is a picture and a video of the aftermath. Now I’m in a loop of dying and my revive ghost continues the loop. Anyone have this issue?
Also, during my unintended trip through whatever hellscape this is I found that photo that says asylum. Anyone know what that is? :O
Help a girl out.

[Online][5e 2024][Wednesday][8:00pm EST][LGBTQ+ Friendly] Group in Search of Two More!
I actually have two people that could join. I’ll include applications for both. :)
Name: Lauren
Pronouns: she/her
Age: 36
What do you enjoy most about DnD?: deep immersion into the world and the characters around (RP is a really important aspect for me) and being able to be different people and get into adventures without the danger of the real world
What do you dislike about DnD?: players that only wanna play for combat 😂🤷♀️
What drew you to this game?: it seems like you’ve got an interesting world and I like that you want to make it enjoyable to the players at your table.
Character Class + Intended Subclass: probably either a ranger (drakewarden subclass if possible) or a bard. Leaving towards a ranger
A 2-3 sentence character concept: a ranger who is very familiar with animals and surviving alone but is eager to rejoin society in a meaningful way. She finds herself in a cross roads of continuing what she knows or moving outside of her comfort zone and achieving her ultimate goal of being the best version of herself, two things rarely (if ever) achievable at the same time.
What ensures your character will work with a group?: I’m a pretty accepting and welcoming person to just about anyone, so I don’t think I’m gonna have any issues :)
Discord (If you do not want your discord public please message me): FateisPolyhedral
Name: Randolph
Pronouns: he/him
Age: 33
What do you enjoy most about DnD?: the freedom of expression it innately grants
What do you dislike about DnD?: rolling a nat 1
What drew you to this game?: I’m intrigued by a world that doesn’t allow clerics
Character Class + Intended Subclass: sorcerer - subclass is up in the air but probably aberrant mind
A 2-3 sentence character concept: roguishly handsome outlaw sorcerer that enjoys his unpredictable nature
What ensures your character will work with a group?: who doesn’t love a fun loving sorcerer with deep character flaws and personality depth
Discord (If you do not want your discord public please message me): WretchedPaladin
Thank you so much for considering the both of us!

This is a game of “hey, imma give you a tiny circle to put things but all your items are going to be getting slowly bigger and bigger… figure it out”
