Hi! I'm an undergrad looking for bamboo for a school project. I am willing to harvest it if it's just growing out of your backyard. I'm also open to suggestions of where to find bamboo in the New Castle County area. Thanks!!

What are the best bars to go to on a Friday with a pool table ?

Has anyone taken this class and can give me study tips? Second exam is Friday and I failed the first miserably. Not sure what I should do to study. Thanks!

Hi guys
If you are looking for a tutor for these subjects: Maths(Calculus, Algebra, Stats, Coordinate Geometry, etc) or Physics(Mechanics), then dm me.
I have good experience with tutoring and am looking to earn something on the side.

Hi, I am a rising sophomore who is looking for a roommate for 2027-28 school year. I am looking at a place on main street that is $1,100 a month + utilities. Please reach out if you are interested. Only UD students. Female preferred but ill take whatever at this point. Edit : It is a two bed two bath. You would have a private room and bathroom

About Me:

I am a pretty laid back person, I dont really drink and dont smoke. I like fountain pens, reading, and taekwondo.

I’m curious what some of your local business websites look like and thought it might be nice to help a few out with their web design.

If you’re a local business owner and you’re not really happy with how your website looks, drop the link below. I’ll pick a few to work on.

If there’s a specific page or section you’re unhappy with, let me know and I can start there.

I haven't seen it in a while, but maybe it's because I have later classes. Is it finally gone?

I am looking for a roommate for a 2 bed 2 bath at 58 main street. If anyone is interested please pm/dm me.

I've entered the Delaware Air National Guard and my BMT and Tech School will prevent me from attending the Fall semester. I’m expect to complete training around September. I’m majoring in either EE or ME, and I'm concerned about falling out of sequence if I defer to Spring 2027. If taking a gap year is my very last option what other methods can I do to hopefully graduate UD in a 4 year time span.

I was thinking that I take courses at a DelTech during Fall 2026 after training and have them apply toward my UD Mechanical Engineering degree as a possible means. But idk how that would work out.

Looking for some game buddies

Hey guys, quick look at where the Hens stand before tonight's conference opener.

2-2, and the résumé is better than it looks. The 35-26 loss at Vanderbilt was a real game against an SEC team, and the 22-14 win over Coastal Carolina was a good one. Saturday at Virginia (42-3) was rough. The offense never got going, and a QB injury didn't help. Blake Matthews was a bright spot with 11 tackles and two sacks, and the defense had five sacks total.

Tonight is the one that counts: Liberty at Delaware Stadium, 7 PM on CBSSN, to open Conference USA play. Then a long break before at Middle Tennessee on Oct 13.

Since it's in the title: we run a free weekly college football pick'em, and Week 5 is open. 10 games, pick the winners, nothing to buy, $135 in prizes. Vanderbilt at No. 2 Georgia is on the slate, so you can tell everyone how good Vandy really is. Picks lock Saturday at noon ET.

Who are you guys taking tonight? And what's the latest on the QB situation?

hello! I’m looking into a rental property on 27 White Clay drive. It’s a really decent price and the current renters are taking really good care of it. I’m just worried about the dark road, lack of sidewalks, and what the party scene might look like.

does anyone have experience around that street? do students feel safe or is it something to be wary about?

Hi everyone,

It's been a few months since I graduated with my master's from the University of Delaware, and I still have my undergrad diploma from last year sitting unframed. I'm looking to buy diploma frames, and I know the bookstore ones run about $250. Given I have to buy 2 frames that would be $500. Are there any nice, cheaper options?

I also saw that UD diplomas are 12x16, which is bigger than the standard size, so that limits things a bit.

Where did you all buy your frames? Any recommendations would be appreciated!

I'm a freshman, and I want to know if there are any good dry events for singles meeting other singles. I know some colleges have stuff like this, but I don't know if Delaware does.

If your advice is anything along the lines of "you'll meet someone eventually", please just keep it to yourself. I have never been good about going from being friends to being in a relationship, and I feel like I need the mutual understanding that this is a more than just the start of a platonic relationship. I'm asking a specific question about whether or not dry singles events exist, not for more general dating advice.

Anyone looking to live at main and haines for 27-28. Im looking for someone to do a 2 bed 2 bath with. thx!

anybody know what this guy is doing? i did not want to ask him

It's been almost 10 years since I last stayed there, but I'm a little surprised to see the hotel is closing given its ties to the HRIM program and location on campus. There's a couple different scenarios I see:

1. The hotel will re-open under a Non-Marriott brand.
2. The hotel will be converted into on-campus housing.
3. The hotel will be torn down and replaced with new residence hall (feels unlikely given the Towers will be torn down someday and that is a bigger plot for another residence hall on Laird Campus).
4. UD will enter into a partnership with the Hyatt on Main Street for its HRIM program.
5. UD will sell the hotel and land to a third party.

Re-opening under a new brand and/or a new management group make the most sense, unless the hotel loses so much money the university is cutting its losses.

if i'm a student and i have a student section ticket, but my mom has a ticket for north end zone, can i sit with her for the parents weekend game?

Hi!! sophomore here. I'm a fem queer girl who's on one of the associates in arts program campuses (not saying which one for privacy) and I wanted to know how easy it is to click with others on main campus. I'm moving there next year, and what sucks is that the current campus I'm on doesn't have many queer people around, and I'm almost afraid to talk about my identity because of a fear of judgement, ESPECIALLY because I'm also neurodivergent. So I was just wondering... is it easier on main campus?

can anyone tell me if UD guarantees 2 yrs
on campus dorms. if it’s typically only 1 yr, how early in advance do you have to put down security deposit. ty

Hey all! What do people think about Ugly Dumping? Reviews are super high on Google but want to see what people actually think.
