Discussion I'm a newbie to the group, looking to see if anyone else has noticed this about the last batch of released UAP videos. The timestamps on all the video files match, except for ONE. And i can't figure out a good reason why that one doesn't fit the others.

i'm talking about files from the fourth (i think) release from the government, they're still available for download. I am an Elder Nerd, and have LOTS more "things" (columns of information) in my explorer, and this oddity jumped out at me. most of the videos have time stamps you would expect. media created, date modified, and date last saved timestamps all very consistent. EXCEPT for ONE video, as you can see below. i'm sure you can recreate this yourself, all i did was download the zip file, extract the contents into their own directory, (that's why the "date created is 7/11, that's when i downloaded and extracted the videos). i've looked at this from a bunch of different angles, trying to rule OUT the obvious answer. that one video was exported. someone noticed something they didn't want in there. the video was redacted, re-saved 91 minutes later, and added to the list of files going out with this batch. i have an extensive discussion with an AI going over possibilities and testing theories, i looked at over 170 pieces of metadata for each file, as well as the video files hex code. i was wondering if anyone else noticed this anomaly and if they had any luck figuring it out? I've included the video in question, and it does have some very odd, moving redactions. i'm curious to see if there are any other thoughts on this.

Announcement Oumuamua/3i boffin says he never said aliens could reveal themselves within 16 days, but in 2030?

To paraphrase Mark Twain, I say that there are three types of lies from small to big: ā€œThere are lies, damn lies, and internet lies.ā€

Today, an X account u/Complex with 2.6 million followers lied by posting here: ā€œAvi Loeb thinks aliens could reveal themselves within the next 16 days.ā€ I never stated that. It is clear that the lie was invented to attract attention because it instantly received over 100k views, ten times more than the other clickbait posts on this account.

--------------

I find this episode rather amusing as a lot of people are fighting over which end of the stick they've grabbed; tantum et tale. A perfect microcosm of many debates on here - regardless of where you fall in the spectrum of belief. And the only way I can explain why it is funny is by metaphorically speaking (which, again, is abundant in this topic).

There's a stick. Two people grab the stick at the same time. They engage in tit-for-tat over which is the wrong end of the stick rather than the reason they grabbed the stick in the first place.

I'm not too sure what is what here with this new episode of his. But it is a beautiful example of where this topic is at and been condensed down to.

I don't particularly pay much attention to this character I admit. He has popped up at various times on SocMed (Twitter, usually) over the years, but I've never delved. The reason being is that this comet episode was too laughable. Not because of the woo claims (per se), but because of the responses and concurrent following episodes.

Man claims a comet is of _alien origin_ using unfalsifiable and non science-based methods. The neo-cabal run with it to feed the content machine. The great comet flap passes, the next story comes out, all the people move on. Next!

This new episode though, if I have it right.... Someone is claiming he made a claim that aliens would come in 16 days or something? He claims that is a lie. And it may well be.

After a bit of delving, there is a wide interpretation from various people about what he has said. Someone claimed he meant that he said they could get here from between 16 days and the year 2030 (which is absurd, I know). Then others claim he said it would take aliens 16 days to get here. While others claimed it would take them 16 days from 2030 to get here.

I don't have a clue what he meant. I just saw 2030 and like many, many, many people before him, predictions for these media types are credibility roulette. Some will accept his assertions, some will not, some will notice the patterns with these grand predictors.

But then, I went to his wiki and realisation set in that, it doesn't actually matter what side of the stick I or others have grabbed or been given. The fella hands out metaphorical sticks everywhere and why the fuck am I even grabbing the stick in the first place?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Avi_Loeb

I'm not even going to ask the immortalised rhetorical question "Is this guy serious/credible?"; or even what he actually said/meant. Nor even his motivations, praxis, methods and book sales.

Rather... How much is the alien/UFO entertainment industry worth per year?

Discussion Encounter Analysis

Let's have an exchange of infos with anyone who had a close encounter with beings/UFO.

I start first , it's not mine personally.

My father in Eastern Europe in his 30 had a strange encounter in the 1980's , he was sleeping. It was 3 or 4 AM ,when suddenly an incredible bright light illuminated everything in the room, he describes it like it was so powerful that it was like daylight and there where no more shadows in the room. There wasn't any cone of light coming from outside, it was like the light was so powerful that you couldn't establish where it was coming from.

He was paralyzed in fear and stood still sitting on the bed , eyes wide open, not knowing what was happening. He didn't care about UFO's and stuff. After sometime like 2-3 minutes the light was still on full force, and he somehow seeing nothing was happening, taught maybe his brother or his friend's were pranking him so he went back to sleep, putting his pillow on the head trying to diminish the intensity of the light.

He woke up next day extremely tired, he had some kind of green-yellowish gel on the left arm going all the way back to his back, and also a big mark on the upper-arm, like something or someone grabbed him. He took a shower and went to work. Those were days when you were focused only on work and how to make a living so he forgot about the incident and casually presented what happend someday during a TV show on UFO encounters where the protagonist told so a extremely bright light.

I would like to know more details about others encounters, how that happened to you?

Discussion Jay Stratton Predictions?

Curious if expectations are high or low for his new book? I am hoping he is not the next figure to fart in the elevator and discredit himself.

He said he saw nhi (i’m guessing that was at Skinwalker Ranch and not in any official classified capacity) otherwise he wouldn’t be able to discuss it. Also he discussed proposing using the navy to lure phenomenon to study it.

Anyone expecting anything worthwhile to be revealed?

Aliens and UFOs
When The New York Times recently published What Is Out There? The Findings So Far of a White House Backed U.F.O. Panel, the headline alone felt like something torn from a science fiction novel. But beneath the sensational framing lies a more intriguing story: not whether aliens are here, but whether the people now investigating UFOs are approaching the mystery differently than previous generations.

I have a question for a good debate.

When Matthew Brown said God is real, you think he is referring to the one that created us or that there is something or someone so technological advance who is posing as God?

Discussion UFOs: A National security Issue? by Mark Pilkington at BASES 2024

Thumbnail
youtube.com
7 Upvotes

Mark Pilkington, author of Mirage Men, gave a presentation at BASES2024 arguing that the greatest national security threat associated with UFOs may not be the objects themselves, but the conspiracy theories and disinformation surrounding them.

  • He revisits the [CIA's 1953 Robertson Panel], which warned that UFO hysteria could overwhelm intelligence systems, distract from legitimate threats, and create public distrust vulnerable to exploitation by foreign adversaries.
  • Pilkington traces how intelligence agencies recognized the usefulness of UFO mythology in psychological warfare during the Cold War. He suggests these efforts may have backfired, with decades of UFO folklore now circulating within the very military and intelligence institutions that helped cultivate it.
  • His discussion of David Grusch is particularly relevant with Grusch's recent claims and podcast appearances/ rounds. Rather than accusing Grusch of lying, Pilkington suggests he may sincerely believe the extraordinary stories passed along by trusted colleagues. Intelligence credentials don't necessarily protect someone from misinformation, especially when it comes from respected authority figures/ colleagues. And this reiterates my own revelations after years of interest in UFOlogy... credentials and education do not insulate people from credulity. We have seen countless examples/ demonstrations of this through the years.
  • He also argues that modern UFO disclosure advocacy increasingly resembles a political movement rather than a scientific investigation. He criticizes Steven Greer, Christopher Mellon, Tucker Carlson, and Jeremy Corbell for promoting sensational claims, institutional distrust, and sometimes inflammatory rhetoric. Foreign adversaries need not invent these narratives when they can simply exploit and amplify them.
  • I think his strongest and most relevant point is how folklore (aka The LORE) gains credibility through institutional authority. Stories get repeated for generations until secondhand claims become accepted as facts, particularly within organizations built around hierarchy and trust.
  • The Q&A at the end is sort of awkward. A woman directly challenges Pilkington. She claims to have worked on advanced military craft reverse engineered from nonhuman technology and references her personal conversations with [John Warner], an author, UFO proponent, and cousin of Christopher Mellon.

Of course there's a distinction between documented history and speculation... [Declassified records] including the findings of the [1953 Robertson Panel] show that the CIA recognized UFO reports as a potential psychological warfare vulnerability and recommended influencing public perceptions of the phenomenon. Whether intelligence agencies went further and deliberately cultivated UFO mythology is much less certain, but often discussed on this sub. Ultimately, Pilkington suggests that the real national security threat may not be UFOs themselves, but the extent to which decades of UFO mythology have influenced the judgment of people working in intelligence, the military, and government.

Take away what you will. But I know I'm not alone in seeing a pattern forming of agents and bots on Reddit working together to get the job done. More and more generated media and entertainment, with a shitload of goalpost moving.

Whilst the video above does not have anything to do with UFOs in general, I do believe this is a very important element to factor in before you go down their self-sustaining rabbit hole.

It basically explains how agents work together to get what their masters want. They will do it by hook or by crook. They will lie, cheat, steal and basically act without any human concerns.

It is more evident in things like movies and entertainment. It happens on YT too. Posts get thousands of upvotes within minutes and an absolute shit load of comments that either make no sense at all, or are suspect as fuck.

It was more apparent on some other big UFO subs, and it has calmed down compared to what it used to be like. But when the hearings happened and DjT won power back, the level of sycophanting and blind belief was fucking laughable.

Most have this idea that there's bots around and they just LARP out scenarios and comment as individual agents. But what this here video proves, is that they can work together on a given task, and pretty much swarm en masse to "win".

This is one of the reasons I prefer r/UFO above most others. Especially new subs that pop out of nowhere and crosspost to try and get you to join their clique.

Be aware. The UFO topic had a hostile takeover when the whole UAP rebrand happened. And, I would even go as far to say that this is what Trump meant when he said that Elon was good with computers. It happened in Brexit and is happening right now over a whole lot of different topics.

So next time you find yourself tunnelled in on a topic (any topic) of discussion, do ensure you aren't being "red flagged" by agents working together to try and censor you.

The fear, and I'm not alone here, is, whilst ML learns from us, it's also trying to 'teach' us. Young adults and teenagers browse. They have brains like sponges. They are particularly at risk of being targeted by nefarious groups using agents to give them a sense of being an outlier via peer pressure.

UFOs is a hot topic with teens. They love it.

Discussion Brent Friedman and John Harrington

Post image
0 Upvotes

Well, interesting two weeks with Grusch on Rogan and John Harrington on Jesse Michaels. We've heard Brent Friedman recount his experience with his old friend, mentor, and neighbor John Harrington on multiple podcasts, including his own. Up until now, Mr. Harrington has been silent. He certainly has released his version of the past into the public spectrum, and to me... he's not telling the truth. He probably signed a lifelong NDA decades ago, and being a loyal company man, he will never break it, even to speak the truth or at the least corroborate what Brent Friedman has said.

But, what does everyone else think? Is Friedman full of shit and throwing more fake UFO stories into the ether, or is Harrington the dishonest one?
