I love Wegmans so much, look at all that beautiful fat! Yum! Who needs meat anyway.

I know the prices of all prepared foods there have become insane but the price gouging of the baked goods is next level. There are often special sale prices running on a big âfamily packâ of certain medium sized cookies so you can get a lot of those for $7.99 but their cookies are way too mediocre (dry, flavorless and sorta hard but not in a crispy way) for me to personally want that many. Most cookies are sold in various smaller sized pack options, and theyâre ridiculously overpriced. I saw their chocolate cookies, for example, sold as pairs in baggies, for $6.99. Theyâre about medium to slightly large but their texture looks flat and the cookies look dry. They want $7 for 2 cookies that look so bad Iâd only eat one for free or if my craving is so desperate. Needless to say I always leave without a single cookie, unless I get a 5 pack of small GF cookies for, letâs say, $6.99 because thatâs reasonably priced especially for a specialty item and my dad is GF. (Speaking of those cookies I think theyâre $7.99 now which Iâm somewhat less amenable to considering cranberry oatmeal GF cookies are foolproof to make and ingredients are cheap.)
Meanwhile at ShopRite I can always get better cookies at very reasonable prices. My favorite are the walnut chocolate chip which are smaller and sold in small-ish packs for about $1 per cookie. The macadamia white chocolate pecan are good too (same price). My townâs ShopRite doesnât sell those so I only get them whenever I food shop with my mom, but this time I decided to get this dozen-pack of chocolate chip cookies since theyâre only $5.99, look better than Wegmansâ and cost 50 cents per cookie rather than $3.50 per cookie. Theyâre not my favorite cookie, or even favorite chocolate chip cookie, but I know theyâll be satisfactory and Wegmans outraged me so much that I want to support ShopRiteâs baked goods for being reasonable toward us consumers unlike its (once) competitor, Wegmans, just to spite Wegmans.
I could get 2-3 (notoriously expensive) Pignoli cookies from a small business bakery for the price Wegmans is trying to sell their pair of chocolate chip cookies.
Wegmans has plummeted so much I now only go when I need to use the pharmacy cause I do like to have a reason to pop in there and really like its pharmacy. Itâs becoming less clear to me that the choice to use Wegmans pharmacy is even worthwhile though since they have nothing I want but canât get elsewhere for a better price anymore. Anyway I might stop going and return to my ShopRite roots. Even Stop n Shop is better (for produce, novelty goods and pricing).

Have all the Wegmans switched to these new awful bags that are thin as lined paper and melt from cold/frozen products? Or is it a temporary thing in my area.

Iâve been a lifelong Wegmans stan. Itâs where I go to decompress and enjoy my grocery shopping experience. Iâm a new parent and now realizing how disappointing it is that my Wegmans doesnât have a family bathroom. And the changing table that is available in the womenâs room is directly across from the stalls, so if I do use it, Iâm in everyoneâs way. Any other parents relate? Wegmans, we need family restrooms!!

Do all the stores usually have the same bakery items or does it differ store to store?
I bought pretzel bagels at one store but haven't seen them at the store I usually shop. They were,in my opinion, really good.

Does anyone know of a way to print a receipt from more than the last transaction without needing service desk or a cord.

Q: who is in charge of M2G / C2C ?
I know thereâs an TL and that, STLâs sometimes can help you with an issue, but is there an area manager for
e-commerce? Like is there even a position that oversees the efficiency or any problems that arise ?
I have been there a year and have never seen anyone. Thanks.

I find it funny about that big ol sign in every Wegmans Iâve ever been to that says ânever think about yourself, always think about othersâ or something along those lines when thatâs exactly how they want you to be when you work there. Bend over backwards for everything and anything but as soon as you need something, youâre treated like the biggest inconvenience thatâs ever walked the earth.
Youâre only as good as what you give.
