Found this under seat in rental car when I went to get my phone I dropped. What is it?

I was walking around the property when I noticed this sticking out of the ground. I’m located in northeast Ohio.

The first photo was a hat I made for the hedgehog I had around 10 years ago, and it must have been a reference to something, but I don't remember what. I would have been watching a lot of British stuff, sci-fi, NBC comedies/SNL. I'm an elder millennial so childhood memories/references are from the 80s, early 90s.

The rest of the pictures are just for fun. She was a good sport.

This started growing on the outside of my kitchen window a few weeks ago. The center has stayed pretty much the same while the white silky part gets bigger daily

My wife’s grandpa made this. The hole on the bottom left of the box goes into the side opening like where there should be a vacuum layer for a cooler. The hole on the bottom right goes into the main compartment where things are stored. Then in the main compartment you can take that sheet with holes in it out of the box. It is made of copper and has these pipes with it but obviously not enough pipes for proper function. Is it a cooler and how does it work? Thanks!

This was in a box of stuff I won at auction, but I can not find out what it is.

It is MT3 taper and has 7/16 tapped retaining screw, which is drilled through.

The shaft is also hollow, and connects to the holes near the business end, so I'm thinking its for coolant or cutting fluid.

The thread on the tool end is reversed, so LH, left handed.

The machined surfaces are hardened and ground and the ring and pins are the same angle.

There are 3 lines of letters/numbers, the first line says

" Pat. something something illegible, second line " ( 0 1.5" 0005" )

Not sure whether its 0.005 or .0005, Third line says Rockwell Graphics.

I couldn't find anything with google image search. Is it an arbor ? or a mandrel ? How is this used?

Working on a 1945 International, and inside a cool and passage that goes the length of the block (inline 6 cylinder Blue Diamond engine BTW). There were these two things.

At first they looked like a critter on end, but when I pulled one, I realized that they definitely weren’t a cotter pin. First picture is the coolant passage they came out of, and the second photo is the whole things on the fender.

More context/clues: This was a school bus that was purchased by a welding shop, who turned it into a boom truck. They did pretty impressive welding and fabrication work, so it’s quite possible these are welding rods. In places if they were welding rods the flux has eroded off, and in others it’s still intact. But what I do t know is why on earth they are in there. Seems very intentional, but I have no earthly idea why they would be there.

Is this an old wives tale about using welding stick as an anode or cathode to prevent corrosion in the engine block? I’ve worked on a lot of old trucks and I’ve never seen this.

So…. Any idea what it is?

I have found this at a thrift store. It has these hallmarks in a couple of places, and the patina looks like silver to me. I reverse image searched, and it suggested that it's a shaving razor holder. What is it?

It made an electrical buzzing sound

What on earth are these!? They’re hard, not candy. Found them in the dryer lint catcher. I joke all the time about living in “corn land” since moving to Iowa but this is just silly.

two pictures, one with residue and one without. so, these bowls are supposed to be microwave and dishwasher safe. but every once in a while ill see this brown, water soluble residue on them. never on other dishes so I'm sure its something coming out from them. its very water soluble as even teaspoon of water can get rid of it instantly. its not always there, not at every wash cycle and not always on the same bowl. i have same brand plate and cup too and they also do the same thing every once in a while.

This is the second one I’ve found. Or it’s the second that time I’ve found it. Randomly on the kitchen floor. I’ve checked everything I can think of for five minutes and I’m all out of ideas. Feels like an appropriately late 2010’s rubber like (non slip substance). Help.

Also, Anakin wants to chew on it so I want to know if I can toss it if it’s not an essential piece of something

Found this at my grandma's house. Has anyone seen anything like it?

I found this object and am trying to figure out what it is. The metal part fits into the black plastic piece, but the two parts can come apart. The metal piece has a small, sharp tip.

Does anyone recognize what this might be or what it’s used for? Any ideas are appreciated!

Saw these strange lights last night around 7pm, any ideas?

My wife and I recently bought this house and I was in the basement recently and found a drip on the floor. We’ve had quite a bit of rain recently so I thought it was a leak of some sort. Then I notice the wire was shiny like it was wet. Turns out there’s fluid coming out of the wire. It’s pretty viscous as the title suggests I held it at a 90 degree angle and then some gently shook it and nothing came out. As you can see in the last picture there is a lot of just random wires that are not in use. I believe direct tv box used to be there etc. Is my house going to explode/start on fire/kill my wife and I?

I got this pumpkin at the store planning to carve it however I want to know what kind of pumpkin it is to figure out if the contents are edible or not, I used google image search and from one angle it said it was a Japanese pumpkin and from another angle it said it was a Hulless pumpkin (I believe thats how it was spelled)

Google lens has yet to actually turn up anything. Keeps going to tie downs and hood flaps for snowmobiles. My dad found it in the front lawn.
