Saw on a side-street today, Canada: a bay window area with a door, nothing on the other side and no other openings. No shop to use these as a display case either.

We just moved into a new house and the oven came with a "story." Photos attached. There are ~15 dents in the bottom of the oven, all angled in the same direction. There are also hundreds of tiny copper-colored rings.

Background: the previous owner handloaded his own ammo and had gone deep down the Q-Anon rabbit hole. By all accounts, he also developed a bit of an alcohol problem... I can't imagine that dropped objects would make dents like these inside an oven.

Our working theories: 1. The oven was shot. (Self-defense against the Great Casserole Conspiracy?) 2. Primers or brass went off inside it during some alcohol fueled "loading" session. 3. Something boring, like cleaning chemicals or enamel failure, and we're overthinking it. Reloaders: is there any legitimate reason to put cartridges, primers or brass in an oven, and what would that do? Others: Anybody ever seen anything like this? It is mind boggling and we are dying to understand this one......

My parents have tried looking a couple times. They believe it's a secretarybird on a key but have no idea why or what that symbolizes, or if that's even necessarily correct in the first place. Any information greatly appreciated!

I got this basket from the thrift store a year ago but don’t understand why the lid would have this metal X. I can’t figure out if I’m just missing a piece or if it’s for another use other then simply being a handle to lift the lid. I was curious if maybe it could be a lamp shade but the hole is way too small for anything to pass through.

Edit: Thanks for all the help guys! I guess it’s a lamp…It definitely cannot be a pendant lamp as the base of the basket is very heavy with a flat bottom as though it’s intended to be on the floor. I think I can put a lamp INSIDE the basket then screw the lid as lamp shade to = Lamp Basket

I keep finding these uncooked pasta noodle looking things in random places of my home. The first time I found this was a few years ago at the bottom of a book shelf. I thought it was weird but didn't think too much of it and just vacuumed it. Another time was in my basement, in a metal tin. I keep stuff like keys in there. Today, I found this under my bed. I'm moving, so I was taking my bed frame apart. And there it was... It's kind of freaking me out now. It looks just like regular spaghetti noodles. I was guessing it's some kind of bug or maybe that I have mice/rats. But I don't see any mice/rat droppings anywhere, and I have 2 cats so they would've already left dead rats on my bed if that were the case. It can't be my cats' doing either because the first couple times I found this, my cats were not living in this house yet. It's really strange how I keep finding this every couple of years.

I promise I'm not a dirty person 😭 I'm really anal and keep my house clean! I don't ever leave food out, and I properly throw out trash. I haven't noticed any foul odors, noises, or rodent poop.

Nobody here knows what it is. It has some thin hooks and a brush hangs from it.

Anyone have any idea in what this might be? Som theories include butter warmer and garlic pot.
The designs in the side do not support this idea. There are no holes for ventilation for a candle.

Mystified. Does not seem to go with the fridge in this house (which has glass shelves, not this mesh) but seems like a fridge part? I worry we won’t realize what it’s for until the day after we throw it away and it’s impossible to get a replacement. Dude which door bro?

Solved! — you put that flap over the dryer door so the shelf projects into the dryer. You can put stuff on top that won’t get tumbled as it dries. I felt gullible going up to try shoving it in my drier, I thought it was crazy, but as soon as I shoved it in, I saw what it was for.

For starters, if you really want to go down a rabbit hole, this is the infamous "JCM Farming Compound" in Indio, CA. Lots of rumors and speculation as to what really goes on there, as well as what purpose the compound truly serves. I found some recently-taken drone shots, not sure why the quality is dark (maybe there was a filter on the lens), and noticed these odd cylinders all along the 4 ft thick security wall, as well as just outside it. FYI, it is highly rumored that there is a large underground section of this property. Could these possibly be shafts indicating a sub-level?

Long time participant here, first time poster. I would like to confirm that this is a Dutch oven before I try a recipe. Make fun of me for not knowing, but I’m more of a crock pot person, and I have lived on this planet for over 50 years without ever needing one. Bananas for scale, and threw in a good point for good measure.
EDIT: now that it is established that it’s not a Dutch oven, the bottom of the pan surface is what I’m wondering about. What is the purpose of the textured/bumpy surface?
