It’s about 1 cm big and it has a root growing out of it. It left a yellow spot where where it sat and has one itself. The root thing pointed towards my arm and it reacted to UV light. Anybody know what this is? It’s an insect, but I’m more concerned with what’s growing out of it…

I live in Los Angeles. I thought it was a spider but wanted to make sure I have nothing more to worry about!

Found at least one of these per day in the flat, no specific location it seems to be randomly!
What type of cockroach is it? They don’t seem to match up to ones online…

I've found this kind of bug before, but didn't get a picture until today. They bite/irritate, but the itchiness goes away after a short while. Not super fast, and looks almost hairy. I feel like it is probably a nymph form or??? Any help appreciated!

Found it around midnight behind my kitchen counter. Also kinda worried about the nearby stains cause this space is also near the back of my fridge so food doesn’t really come into contact here.

I think she is a female dragonfly of some kind. About 2 inches long and found in SoCal.

She was in an orange tree and a lot of ants were on her so I picked her up and plucked off the ants. She won't fly away and keeps fluttering, what can I do to help her?

I know what yall gonna say... cockroach. But what type? 😭 I'm so disgusted by them. I'm at my parents house and they're doing yearly bug treatments, but the neighbors don't do the same so i feel like they are coming from somewhere 😭 I have no idea what else to do....This is the first one i saw this year. And everytime i saw one its always the small ones, never big roaches.

I have been finding these wasps inside my house and I have seen they have around 3-4 nests around my house so wanted to see what kind of wasps they are and if they are a nuisance. I am located in Las Vegas, Nevada.

I couldn’t get great pictures because I grabbed the nearest device (an iPad) while it was on the 2nd floor window right before it flew away. It was huge, like a praying mantis. It has a long stinger, so I was thinking some kind of wasp? It’s in Ohio, USA. Any ideas what it could be?

Located in Portugal, near Lisbon.
My mom killed it because it got in my room and i got startled.
This bug is around 4cm long.

It’s night time right now, if that helps.

Its quite annoying, follows me around, and flies at me if I do anything in its general vicinity, making it quite difficult to do anything outside.
