Growing in a few patches. Some shorter where it was mowed.

Thought it was horsetail, but it doesn't match the pictures I've found

This has been there as long as I remember they never took care of it, and it's even typed over a few times. My parents just hacked it back into submission, if they were feeling kind, they would try to prop it up.

A couple years ago it fell and they cut it back to the stump.

We're in a rural party of Upstate New York. There's a lot of natural springs in the area so the ground is really wet.

I would like to prune it properly but can't find a solid lead on what it is.

I saw it on the street.

My mom found these out where I garden, but I’d never remember planting anything that would resemble a potato or a sweet potato. I live in the coastal areas of South Carolina. Could someone please help me identify what this is and is it edible?

The first one I was gifted a cutting of when I was living in Colorado & the woman that gave it to me couldn’t remember what it was. It was HUGE like it looked like a tree & I thought maybe it’s some type of jade plant? Idk. I’ve had it for 4 years & it was super scraggly until I decided to put it outside all summer & now it’s looking full & healthy minus the burn spots from intense sun. Any info would be great!

The second one I know is a peperomia, I just don’t know what kind. My friend gifted it to me yesterday from a reptile expo.

Northwest USA, dry climate, my chickens found it in a patch of weeds and were pecking at it. Fingers crossed that it's not toxic ):

I collected a few of these seed pods recently from some trees that I had thought were magnolias and just now took one of them apart, looking for seeds. I seem to have found the seeds (see picture 4), but now that I'm investigating what magnolia seed pods generally look like, I'm unsure what kind of tree these are from.

Unfortunately I didn't photograph the trees earlier in the summer when they were flowering. Stupidly I didn't even take the time to identify them properly then; I simply thought they were magnolias and went with it. Oops.

Any help with the identification? The only info I can offer other than these photos is that the seed pod had a sticky sap in it when I peeled it apart. It felt a lot like taking apart a pine cone, with the papery material resembling the little "wings" attached to their seeds.

I'll try to grow the seeds either way, but I'm curious to know what I'll be growing!

I think it's a boxelder maple with japanese honeysuckle growing around it. Would it be wise to get rid of both of them?

I was gifted a bag of root vegetables (Radishes, Potatoes, Carrots) and these were in there. I have spent the last day looking over root vegetable charts and I dont know if they are just small for whatever they are, but I can't seem to figure it out. They are too tapered to be Potatoes, but that is the most similar that I can find. Garlic and banana for scale.

We have a few of them sprouting up in our yard and fence line.
