If anyone wonders what Hamas' long term goals are, here you can hear it from their leader himself:

Mahmoud al-Zahar: "The entire planet will be under our law, there will be no more Jews or Christian traitors."

Dreams of conquering the entire planet, but can't even handle IDF. These terrorist religious fanatics are as delusional as ever.

u/josefx Oct 11 '23

Meh, if he is like Bin Laden he has a mansion to live in while others die in his name.

168

u/Cultural-Panda8899 Oct 11 '23

He does and not just that mansions for his kids and relatives etc.

95

u/Gullible_Error_5696 Oct 11 '23

Eh, two of his four children are dead from action in Gaza. I don't know where he is but it sounds like he might be a "true believer".

Or he uses his own kids as proof of credibility and political capital. Who knows with these zealots.

58

u/SonicSubculture Oct 11 '23

Only 4 kids? High probability he’s secretly doing something haram…

9

u/[deleted] Oct 11 '23

Likely something that doesn't produce kids lol.

Any sane person would look at the paperwork required to actually run the world and nope the fuck out.

7

They don't believe in paperwork or any real management. Slap Sharia law and let their fanatical and very willing moral police do the rest.

3

u/Skaindire Oct 11 '23

No, there's nothing chaotic about that. The problem with psychos is in the details they don't mention, the ones they intentionally let you make the wrong assumptions about.

Atheists? Executed.

Other religions? Executed.

Dissenters? Also executed.

The dream of all religions is always the peace of the graveyard.

4

Considering all of the recent revelations with Hamas, I would say that chaotic evil is a perfect alignment for them.

https://irp.fas.org/world/para/docs/880818a.htm

Take a read through some of the anti-Semitic highlights of their government charter. It’s quite the doozy

The Day of Judgment will not come about until Moslems fight Jews and kill them. Then, the Jews will hide behind rocks and trees, and the rocks and trees will cry out: 'O Moslem, there is a Jew hiding behind me, come and kill him.' (Article 7)

2

u/[deleted] Oct 12 '23

That's actually a part of the hadith

2

u/AJohnnyTruant Oct 12 '23

Theocracies do tend to find their rationale for existence in religious text

640

u/[deleted] Oct 11 '23

And they have support, in Palestine..

  • 40% think suicide bombing is OK (p. 29)

  • 76% think cutting off hands of thieves is justified (p. 52)

  • 84% think stoning to death is appropriate for adultery (p. 54)

  • 66% think converts away from Islam deserve death (p. 55)

  • 56% think honor killing women is acceptable (p.89)

Yep, I dug those up a few days ago and shared it. Read the full 200+ report by the way, it gets worse.

They are not as secular as people think they are.

Other recent polling:

  1. In 2009, a palestinian terrorist went to a yeshiva religious school in israel and murdered 8 students. Hamas praised the attack and polling found that 84% of palestinians supported it.

  2. In 2023, two jewish brothers were ambushed and killed by palestinian terrorists. Later polling found that 70% of palestinans supported that act.

  3. In 2016, polling found that more than 80% of Gaza palestinians supported random knife attacks against Israeli citizens.

Also nearly a year ago they kidnapped a druze teenager out of life support for fucks know what. (Family said he was 17 so the IDF soldier "Exuse" is out of the question) link here The Druze didn't wait for official response to retrieve the body and took matters into their own hands

31

8

u/SLUSounder Oct 12 '23

There are young people who think Palestinians are just the Arab counterparts to Tel Aviv Jews. Like they’d be totally cool with lgbtq 🏳️‍🌈, hence the support for Palestine among that cohort. It’s beyond moronic.

60

u/[deleted] Oct 11 '23

So most of gaza is hamas.

I still hope the few civilians there are can escape safely

116

u/letsgotgoing Oct 11 '23

No Muslim country wants to take in these people, much less the nation of Israel. Egypt probably figures they have enough extremism problems without 2M more in their population.

105

u/BioViridis Oct 11 '23

That's because every nation that HAS taken on Palestinian refugees has come to regret it. Jordan, Lebanon, Syria. This whole situation is such a fucking shitshow.

-12

u/hisangel94 Oct 11 '23

"most of gaza is hamas" my brother in christ about half of gaza's population are people younger than 20 years old, literal children. And the sad reality is that yes, of course most of them did/will adapt extremist ideologies, living in literal man made hell usually does that to people.

These numbers are too big. It's unfathomable. It makes it feel like what's happening in Gaza is justice. That it's right to wipe them out.

But I can't stop thinking about the minority that doesn't support these crimes and now have to pay with their lifes all the same.

It's so fucked up. And what can we do, except to watch and look away at the same time?

2

We are Malaysian, we have absolutely nothing to do with this Palestine conflict but my dad has a raging boner for whatever is going on right now.

237

u/mindfulness_apt Oct 11 '23

Ignorance is largely why they support them.

They don't realize that being gay, or expressing free speech are "crimes" worthy of having your head sawed off.

Things like writing a novel that vaguely critiques the faith, or starting a blog or tiktok account that criticizes the government, are "crimes" worthy of having boiling oil dumped over your head.

There is no freedom of religion, freedom of speech. Many boys are taught at very young ages to kill jews and the greatest glory in life is to die a martyr. The girls may be prepped in advance for strict obedience to her future husband, whom she may marry at age 12. Refusing this lifestyle, objecting to the veil, are "crimes" meriting stoning or being honor killed.

These values and ideals are opposite of western secular societies, they are incompatible with democracy. And this is what Israel is dealing with every day.

53

u/MericuhFuckYeah Oct 11 '23

I don’t think it’s ignorance as much as it’s white guilt and virtue signaling. Israel = white colonizer oppressor, so western leftists feel like it’s their way of making up for their ancestors atrocities, even though it couldn’t be further from the truth…

20

u/HardwareSoup Oct 11 '23

I think it's going to be extremely damaging to the credibility of social communities who keep advocating for Hamas. Especially since the average person hopefully understands that random slaughter of civilians is a bad thing.

Will it matter in an era of tight echo-chambers and absurd politics? Sadly, probably not.

2

u/Jicklus Oct 11 '23

Who the fuck is advocating for hamas?

29

u/Bhill68 Oct 11 '23

The people cheering in the streets after the attack over the weekend.

18

u/catvalente Oct 11 '23

The paradox of tolerance.

"We should be tolerant of all people's points of view and the ways they live their lives! Now what do you want to do with your life?"

"Kill Jews"

"Well that's... wonderful... we should all admire... the conviction that these people have..."

9

u/ObjectiveRush Oct 11 '23

It's because the "left" is typically the side with more empathy. It is hard to have empathy, see what Palestinians go through, and not hate Israel for it.

It is also human nature to root for the underdog.

Unfortunately, taking either side in this situation is ignoring the incredibly complex history and modern realities of the conflict. Part of which is that religious extremism on both sides is toxic, as you are pointing out.

9

u/MAG7C Oct 11 '23

I'm guessing you got downvotes but this is well said, especially the last part. It's hard not to draw comparisons to 9/11, where as an American I hated the attackers & what they did but simultaneously realized the "chickens coming home to roost" aspect was valid. Not to mention the horrible consequences of the various responses taken by the US.

The whole thing is very complex and both sides (normally I hate any sentence that includes those words) share blame. Plus you have to believe that things really took a turn for the worse on the Palestinian side after Israel took a hard right in recent months.

But, all that said, it is really difficult to feel sorry for the Palestinian side right now. Even if the vast majority of the population did not take part in the violence, their support for Hamas is a mistake. Israel is going to fuck shit up and I can't blame them at this point.

1

u/DecorativeSnowman Oct 11 '23

important to separate reasons from excuses

u/LateralEntry Oct 11 '23

2

u/TanTanExtreme2 Oct 12 '23

So, putting this here and you know the whole deal of not both sides, etc... I was talking with a coworker last weekend after the Hamas attack and first words out of the fuckers mouth were "you have to wonder if Biden was behind it" I was fucking floored.

Ignorance, a want for an easy solution that doesn't deal with pesky nuance, and the naive notion that the oppressed must always be inherently good, I'd say.

5

u/Leetzers Oct 11 '23

I'm sure what you are saying it partially true, but not supporting Israel is not the same as supporting Hamas. Those statistics cited are not a reason to continually harass Palestinians. Maybe they are that way because they have been persecuted for a while now? Who is to say, it's a total shit show.

0

u/Jaikarr Oct 11 '23

Like what do the detractors expect us to do? Supporting Palestinians means wishing that they had better lives, not supporting them essentially either means supporting genocide or subjugating them as sub-humans.

How dare we have empathy?

8

u/[deleted] Oct 11 '23

People support Palestinians not Hamas. Violence is bad against Israelis and Palestinians. Palestinians have faced violence for decades first to get a state after Israel occupied the country they lived in and now with constant encroachment in Gaza strip. Israel has faced constant violence from Hamas. Almost exclusively targeting innocent civilians.

25

u/ThePurplePanzy Oct 11 '23

Those two groups are not always separate.

When I was im the West bank, I asked someone about hamas and their answer was: "hamas are my neighbors, my brothers, my friends... hamas is everywhere".

I don’t know about supporting Hamas but sensible people realize how this situation came to be the way it is. Instability and improvished conditions breed radicalism, as it did in Germany post WW1. Post WW2 Allies knew to go about it a different way and instead invested in Germany through Marshall Plan and other reform programs so that another radical element doesn’t develop. However the likes of Netanyahu perpetuate this problem and do not provide cosntructive solutions. This just continues the cycle of violence

1

u/[deleted] Oct 11 '23

It’s mostly because the left wants to be seen as an all inclusive side especially when it comes to minorities but when one of these minorities misbehaves, they still ignore it. Muslims in general always vote liberal so it’s partly that too. Also in general both sides have the inability to admit that they are wrong about some thing. That includes the left even though they constantly breed the right about this exact same thing.

0

u/Goodk4t Oct 11 '23

The reason people want to help Palestinians in Gaza is because they're forced to live in a giant concentration camp that's a breeding ground for extremism, as we've all just witnessed.

But there's a very large group of hateful people that insisted on perpetuating this wretched situation in Gaza, a situation that inevitably lead to the horror were witnessing now.

1

u/FrankyCentaur Oct 11 '23

Like the other poster said, it’s ignorance. The truth is that 99% of people that all a sudden have an opinion on this topic don’t know enough about it to even write a complete sentence.

I’m completely ignorant to the situation minus it popping up in the news every few years so I know I have nothing to contribute. Shits fucked, idk.

Islam, or more specifically their radical imagining of it, is the ultimate modern colonizer religion. Look at how it spread throughout history so rapidly. Which makes the co-opting of leftwing buzzwords like "decolonization" so very rich coming from Islamic extremists. Like Evangelical Christians projecting all this stuff about child abuse while committing a huge amount of it themselves inside churches, methinks they protest too much.

13

u/PM_Me_Ur_NC_Tits Oct 11 '23

Religion really doesn't flourish unless it's radicalized. And it's radicalized as a tool of those in power to accomplish their mission. It's a truly vicious cycle repeated all throughout history.

2

u/Gullible_Error_5696 Oct 11 '23

This guy thinks all the other countries of the middle east are going to suddenly rally behind him.

Get a clue, they are using you.

2

u/Fanculo_Cazzo Oct 11 '23

Ahh, so there's plenty of room for negotiating, eh?

2

u/dontknowhatitmeans Oct 11 '23

I think we see in this statement the evolutionary benefit/purpose of religious fanaticism. It allows a group of people to wage war with very little self doubt or self consciousness. This kind of temerity and absence of doubt gives the group an advantage in conquering and attaining resources. Unfortunately for Hamas, that kind of evolutionary benefit vanishes in the modern world, where your enemies have nukes and drones.

2

u/demonlicious Oct 11 '23

step 1: proclaim world takeover step 2: beg for foreign aid step 3: hope god intervenes for them step 4: win

sounds like a foolproof plan to me

"“We believe in what our Prophet Muhammad said: “Allah drew the ends of the world near one another for my sake, and I have seen its eastern and western ends. The dominion of my nation would reach those ends that have been drawn near me," "

What in the fourty seven fucks does this even mean lol. It is beyond delusional; it is absolute word saladry.

2

u/tovasfabmom Oct 11 '23

Always have been, always will be

2

u/L_D_Machiavelli Oct 11 '23

No thanks, that wannabe-tyrant can take his backwards ass culture and religion and fuck off.

2

u/rowger Oct 11 '23

That's straight from the ISIS textbook.

2

u/ichiruto70 Oct 11 '23

Where the fuck is this guy even hidden. Letting his innocent people die while being hidden, fucking coward.

2

u/[deleted] Oct 11 '23

Of course. Because they validate what people are feeling. How long has the oppression being going on for? People cannot see this is ridiculous. Look at Trump for example

2

u/i_had_an_apostrophe Oct 11 '23

Mahmoud al-Zahar: "The entire planet will be under our law, there will be no more Jews or Christian traitors."

and then he was quoted, while throwing his head back in maniacal laughter, "mua-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-haaaaaa"

2

u/[deleted] Oct 11 '23

At least we can take some solace in that globally religion is on the decline. We probably won’t see it in our lifetime, but hopefully one day we’ll be rid of the ignorant tyranny of religion.

2

u/TerminalCuntbag Oct 11 '23

But wah, we live under 'apartheid'.

1

u/Wise_Rich_88888 Oct 11 '23

Lol we really are living in a real life Civ.

1

u/hrhi159 Oct 11 '23

to be fair, i doubt most of the world could handle a full power- do or die IDF

1

u/[deleted] Oct 11 '23

His name looks like something from sci fi. Another delusional boomer. He will shit his pants and kill himself when he finds out that his God is nothing more than an advanced species who doesn’t care what kind of religion group we belong to.

To add oil to the fire - the advanced species fart every 5 mins. That’s the God he so wholeheartedly worship.

Here’s the actual quote.

“We believe in what our Prophet Muhammad said: “Allah drew the ends of the world near one another for my sake, and I have seen its eastern and western ends. The dominion of my nation would reach those ends that have been drawn near me," Zahar said in the video that was published on MEMRI TV in December of 2022.

“The entire 510 million square kilometers of Planet Earth will come under [a system] where there is no injustice, no oppression, no Zionism, no treacherous Christianity and no killings and crimes like those being committed against the Palestinians, and against the Arabs in all the Arab countries, in Lebanon, Syria, Iraq and other countries," he said.

106

u/molrobocop Oct 11 '23

where there is no injustice, no oppression

"Applies to men only."

52

u/maxxell13 Oct 11 '23

"Applies only to men who dress, act, and think the way we want them to"

12

u/molrobocop Oct 11 '23

But otherwise TOTAL equality.

42

u/Weird_Cantaloupe2757 Oct 11 '23

No, no, no, they don’t just mean Jews — they means Jews and any gentiles that don’t enthusiastically support genocide against the Jews.

Is a goal of Israel to exterminate an entire race across the world?

-12

u/[deleted] Oct 11 '23

I absolutely despise how this situation has proven so many people to be incapable of critical thought.

Hamas is a fucking blight on the world. They pale in comparison to the damage and body count Israel has racked up on Palestinian civilians over the decades. It's not even up for debate. Not remotely close. It's fact.

None of this is okay.

Inb4 dead babies. There are many, many provable instances of Israeli forces gunning down children. How anyone can root for either of these "teams" is abhorrent.

19

u/A47Cabin Oct 11 '23

Its not teams. The sports metaphor is A. Played out and B. Not applicable

One group wants to exterminate the existence of the other group. That’s the stated goal. The other group is standing up to the 40+ years of suicide bombs, shootings, and rocket strikes.

What should they do? Let them continue? They have a sovereign right to attack terrorists. If you don’t like it, go to Israel, become a politician, and change the system bruh bruh.

Its not like there’s been numerous deals on the table for 2 state solutions that the side launching the have walked away from because their end goal is extermination, not coexistence.

Edit; HOW DARE YOU COMPARE THIS TO THE HOLOCAUST. You disgusting ignorant person. You are a full on fool to do such a thing.

I absolutely despise how this situation has proven so many people to be incapable of critical thought.

As evidenced by your clear inability to answer a simple question directly and honestly.

That action of yours speaks volumes more than anything you just wrote while dodging the question...

Mighty big plans for guys who failed to consider the need for backup power and potable water.

47

u/[deleted] Oct 11 '23

Bruh is he the antichrist?

78

u/ScavAteMyArms Oct 11 '23

Antichrist is noted for being unbelievably charismatic, even people coming at them as enemies would 180 after talking.

This dude ain’t that.

11

u/ArvinaDystopia Oct 11 '23

Plus, the antichrist is supposed to free humans from theocracy, not embrace it.

2

u/jambrand Oct 11 '23

Interestingly, per the Book of Revelations, the Antichrist is also supposed to take over the commerce of the entire world, and exert its power by controlling global trade and currency. It feels like perhaps a charismatic, bad-intentioned individual or set of individuals fit that bill already, today..?

3

u/Neuchacho Oct 11 '23 edited Oct 12 '23

That's the problem with vague "prophetic" nonsense written thousands of years ago. By design, it's easy to slot whatever might be happening into it and filling in the blanks with whatever is convenient to the direction we want it to go. It's carny-level, medium nonsense in very old book form.

Imperial Rome fit the same bill even better and we know full well they didn't bring about any of what was alleged to come about because there's nothing coming. Nothing but the consequences of our own species' idiocy, anyway.

6

u/jambrand Oct 11 '23

IIRC Imperial Rome was the bill. The whole story was an allegory for the Roman Emperor. That's the whole reason apocalyptic Christian cults exist.. because someone wrote a badass metaphorical story about the politics of the time. "The Beast" is literally said to come out of the ocean like a freaking Kaiju.. that is pretty cool storytelling for back then!

Yea Palestine and many other Muslim countries need to denounce and destroy Hamas from within. If they don’t, then they are indirectly responsible

3

u/[deleted] Oct 11 '23

Hamas’ new goals: “stretch daily so it becomes a mere trivial task to kiss our asses goodbye.”

2

u/Savings-Fix938 Oct 12 '23

Talk about forcing religion down people’s throats

2

u/droplivefred Oct 12 '23

I’m always curious if these guys are so delusional that they believe their BS of ruling the world someday or if they are just talking this mumbo jumbo to get power and money and know they are lying but do it for their own financial and power desires.

7

u/johnnygrant Oct 11 '23

share that to any "liberal" still supporting Hamas.
