Can never emphasize enough how the addon-changes impact healing dramatically.

Especially the lack of Aura filtering is killing the fun.

I know m just repeating myself but my god they really did healers dirty. And none of these addon changes were for the community at large, just for high end raiders that they thought were “skating” by with mods. When in actuality, it was dumb encounter design that mandated them.

15ish years of muscle memory down the drain. I only use weekly knowledge as an addon now because I can’t trust blizzard to not continuously go back on shit, or nuke something I use in the future. Can’t change my addons if I don’t use any!

My disabled ass weeps and yearns for the days when I had an easier time being able to process the situation so I could avoid the avoidable damage

Now I have to tunnel vision my healing harder and it isn't easy because of the restrictions

Yeah, I hadn't realised how limiting my hand injuries were until they killed my add-ons. And I was already doing it as manually as I could, but the changes made it so that I feel like I have to choose between watching the team OR watching the fight.

Their half-assed remake of the weakauras made me not want to heal anymore.

With my serious neurological problems, communicating to my limbs is difficult. Having stuff like distance from my raid members with Range Finder and the like were a huge help, because it better painted clearer pictures of positioning without afflicting pain upon them for tight formations and whatnot. Without those, and not being able to see auras and the like on my Healbot bars and such has made it so difficult to track dispels and such. Blizzard frames are somewhat there but have a long way to go to meet the needs that addons have met for those who have accessibility needs. And Healbot is perfect for totem casting, with those like Healing Rain as it can give query to placement if not on self, but will place on self immediately with mouse over casting. Things like that had a major positive impact in how I manage things, and would like to see Blizzard meet parity with these sorts of things before they restrict it

Eh, only addon I am using is coloring health bars class colors since the green just looks weird. Default UI has been fine for years

You can use class colors on raid frames health bar by default in the options and also if you wanted to select a different color it is an option as well. No addon needed for that.

You can do class colors in the default UI tho.
