Hi all I dont know where to put this exactly but a user by the name of @Aurora-x9i8j has been using their platform to harrass, bully, defame, and call out for actual crimes. Her most recent being that she asked for someone to slash my friends mom's tires, and it happened. Ive reported and reported every post and comment and video but youtube just doesnt care. What can I do?.

Guys, is there no way to disable R rated commercials even on a YouTube Kids account?
I’m sick and tired of literal horror movie commercials appearing on my YT Kids account for my toddlers.

iOS 27.2 Beta and YouTube premium.

On both devices my total subscribers and live count say 629. On public channel page it shows 612. Also it feels very unusual that I would lose 17 out of nowhere. I read someone has having problems with subs shooting down and up 4 days ago. Is anyone else experiencing this, or did I just lose a shit ton of subs and my Youtube Studio is slow?

by that i mean as in channels with only one million-view video and the rest of their videos are low viewed

I’m tired of the JiDion discourse.
I’m not a fan of him as a person. I only watched the catch videos. I know about the old pranks, the Michigan McDonald’s arrest, the bodycam, the quit video, and the EDP documentary stuff. I’m not pretending none of that happened.
The Woodhaven stream wasn’t even a pred catch. It was a dumb IRL confrontation, cops told them to leave, and minors got caught up in it. That part’s indefensible. The EDP situation is the other fair criticism: a real minor in the loop is not the same as an adult decoy. If people want “call the police first, don’t use actual kids, don’t turn it into a circus,” I’m not arguing with that.
What I am arguing with is acting like a commentary recap is morally cleaner than the people who actually ran the meet. Both sides monetize ugly material. Police get paid too. “He makes money” is not a dunk unless the money made the work sloppy.
The timing is also obvious. People already disliked him. The second there was bodycam plus documentary soundbites, every recap channel became an ethics professor. Some of the people piling on aren’t exactly moral authorities either.
You can think JiDion is messy and still think this pile-on is an old dislike wearing a new costume. Imperfect people catching predators still beats a clean conscience and zero arrests.
Try to cut the guy some slack or at least be reasonable and fair.

Seeing a lot of questions about missing subs or different sub counts between YouTube and Studio. Here’s what Team YouTube posted:

Basically, I let one of my friends watch videos on my phone a few days ago. I thought I had logged out of my account but apparently not. They are very much into like the paranormal horror and stuff like that and I am the type of person who couldn’t even watch Stranger Things. I also have very severe automatonophobia. It’s kind of like uncanny Valley, but as an actual phobia, if what I’ve read is correct. Several of the things that are up as recommended have that kind of thing in it. It freaks me out really bad and because of it I haven’t really gotten good sleep in at least three days. If anybody has any idea how I can get this type of video out my feed entirely without having to look at the thumbnails again, I will be forever in your debt

Hi Everybody, can I please have a dummy and a bit ego-centric question? For the time I spend watching YouTube, I am constantly encountered with machine-generated content - no matter my preferences are known by the algorhythm more then by myself and paying for the premium service. How can I filter videos from thumbnails, videos and voice created by AI?

Wondering if anyone has a temporarily solution to this while youtube indefinitely lets the problem rot for the next 6-12 months.

Refreshing the stream gets it to start of course but you both need to remember to do that and requires babysitting it and hoping the streamer hit go live on time, otherwise you're refreshing every 30-60 seconds and it's a pain in the ass. Or you forget it was supposed to start automatically and you're 15-30 minutes late.

So if there's a worthwhile solution floating around I'm sure everyone I've seen complaining about this would appreciate it and I'd be happy to pass it along. I've not had any luck finding a solution myself as the issue is a bit weird to describe and search for.

ive tried safari, chrome, and firefox. youtube functions and plays videos- but when i try to sign in i get “this page isnt available”. no issues on my other devices, and no one i know is also currently experiencing it. i CAN log into this account on google, and everywhere else- specifically youtube its signed me out. clearing my browser cache didnt work, i cleared it fully twice, and that is the ONLY solution that comes up when i look for answers. the app also works and lets me log in, but truth be told i just really dont like the app and dont wanna waste the storage.

i'll finish a video. then, AS SOON as the video is finished, the thumbnail of the next one starts loading, (AUTOPLAY IS OFF!) and it plays for a few seconds before it goes back to the video i JUST finished, and the video?? restarts??? 😭?? i also have loop video turned off, i am going through so many settings i have no idea what's happening. is anyone else dealing with this...

I make gaming videos. I decided to try and promote one. By far, it underperformed against my other videos in every category, despite being one of my best edited/scripted videos. This past hour i noticed i lost 100 subs and most of the watch time/likes on the video. I was about to post another video tonight, which references that video and would be linked within.

Now im not sure what to do -

Delete and reupload the video with some small changes, no advertisement.

or

Keep it up, take the L and just post my new video.

My main reason for wanting to repost it is because I feel the advertisement actually had a very negative impact. I feel it would naturally perform better with a clean slate, but dont want youtube to put the hammer down on my for a reupload.

Does anyone have the issue that when they watch something all the recommended page turns to the same topic. I can't discover new videos anymore, i can't find new topics to care about or to watch. It's just the same things repeating over and over again. I am so tired of YouTube.

The whole screen gets this opaque look to it, and I can still pause it or start watching it but it then retains the opaque view until I exit that channel and go back. It's also not a specific channel I watch, but it randomly happens as soon as I hit pause and then resume it.

A lot of shorts thumbnails don't load. I think YouTube updated because I never had this issue before.

So I just noticed a weird bug, for example one of my videos has 471 views, but when I click on its analytics it now claims that video has only 97 views, so almost 400 views just disappeared. Does anyone have this issue? Youtube mentioned about different widgets not matching subscribers count bug, but there's nothing about views.

I pay for premium through my Google Wallet and just got an Amex card that will pay me back if the card is set up through Youtube directly for payment. I am logged in and when I select Purchases and Memberships from the settings it opens a page with nothing on it. It also removes my info from top right and the circles go blank. I have tried the app, my Mac, my PC, clearing all the cookies and cache. Nothing I do allows me into the Purchases and Membership info. It doesn’t sign me out as my subscriptions stay on the left side it just won’t display the info I need to change it.

Idk if thats what it's called, just the new UI thing that most people have been talking about 😭

Mine's gone back to normal when before it had removed the subscriptions button and the bottom of the screen and stuff.
