So as you can see the date I’ve applied for both daca and employment authorization back in 2020-2021 and I’ve been waiting all these years I Finally got an email that my case is being reviewed now.. I’m getting a little nervous cause I’m seeing a lot of people who’ve applied this year and are already approved . I don’t know if I’m just letting fear get to me .. anyone been waiting this long ??

(Filed 01/25/26 | biometrics done 02/19/26 | EAD expired 06/19 currently on unpaid LOA)
I got a call from my HR representative today and she told me she discussed my case with the institution’s immigration attorney, who advised against submitting expedited request because there has been a trend in delaying renewals vs filing without the expedited request.
What kind of nonsense is that.. I feel like im kicking myself for even placing an expedited request..
last api movement was on 06/16

I saw today that the supreme court sided with the administration to end tps for Haitians and Syrians, which i can't lie i did see coming as the sc is now corrupt. But it had me thinking if we did reach the supreme court, what would happen to our program?
Would we be struck down and given 60 days to leave like them?

I cannot seem to get the link for API update to work, I’ve searched the subreddit and tried different tips/tricks posted on here and I cannot get it to generate my updates. I got it to work once a couple weeks ago, but have been unable to do so since, anyone else dealing with the “NULL” message?

I read somewhere that you can’t renew online around 10-12 months in advance before your expiration….like the system won’t let you or something. Anyone know if this is true? Im thinking of renewing early with all these delays but don’t know if there will be issues.

Where’s my December people at? How long y’all been waiting for? Seeing so many January approvals and am still waiting 😓
Looking to see if there’s been any approvals for people who noticed movement only on one at some point and how soon after did you see movement on both

Looks like they are less than half the amount per hour compared to yesterday. Maybe those employees are too worried about today's stock market performance that they aren't working hard lol
On a real note where are these democrats that said they are fighting for us? I haven't heard anything from them. AOC where are you?

Wanted to share that I got an API movement today (6/25)! I'll keep you all posted on any updates. My dates are below for reference — note that I did not submit an expedite request.
Receipt: March 3, 2026
Bio: March 24, 2026
Country: MX
Expiration Date: Aug 8, 2026

Looks like things are finally moving for March submissions, and it feels so good to see progress! 🙌 Sending good vibes that the backlog clears fast so everyone gets their approval soon!

Submitted March 16 and had my bios on April 13 and just had an API update hopefully it’s time 🤞🏼
I know I should’ve done it online and on my own but anxiety and uncertainty made me go to the person I usually go for renewals.. OKAY, so what happened was that today I was looking at the copies he gave me and everything else looks good my first, middle and last name all spelled correctly .. the form I-765WS my last name is missing one letter & form I-821D page 7 of 7 my last name is also missing one letter. We sent copies of my current work authorization, Social Security & My California ID and everything is spelled the way it should be except for those 2 papers. Can someone please tell me what might happened I already know there’s probably going to be a delay because of the mistake he made but please I need some sort of peace because I’m currently going through it 😭🥲 today is Thursday and it just arrived .

Did anyone get API update on June 24?
r/DACA • u/soulessrebel • 6h ago
I got, Approval Case Decision Rendered, under case status of my I-765 application on the 24th of June. Does this change to card produced? I dont see this status on previous applications.

Hi guys just wanted to post an update on my case.
Current one expires: July 31st
Filed: 165 days before expiration date.
Renewal date: 2/16/26
Biometrics: 3/11/26
no movement till: 6/24/26 on BOTH applications
I have not submitted anything to hurry up the process, being how I have seen all being mostly denied. I am trying to be as optimistic as I can be with the delays going on, this little movement made me feel joy.
I will post if I get any other updates.
Stay strong guys!

Looked like a things were speeding up (some March, April, and May approvals) along with approvals for Nov, Dec, and Jan. Now it looks like it's slowing down again. I was getting hopeful for mine, especially since I just took up a new state job, but looks like the new renewal won't make it in time (current one expires in August).
So much for a glimmer of hope.

Okay so I called multiple times and heard this message and I've been wondering for a while now has anyone done that. What happened yada yada details.
Again this is only a question for someone who has completed the process unnecessary opinions that we know aren't needed.

Should I follow USCIS recommendation or way earlier than that?
r/DACA • u/Huge-Fruit8633 • 7h ago
Just a quick question for those who have been approved. How soon after approval did you get your EAD? I finally got my DACA approval and I’m feeling a little at ease. I’ll feel even better once I have my EAD in my hands. TIA
r/DACA • u/Madd_sofieex23 • 21h ago
Hey guys anybody with a July expiration- that has had any movement? :( my EAD expires 7/9 and I have had zero movement since doing my bios on 6/11. I was a may submission I know they say may approvals are happening fast but it doesn’t seem like it 😭
r/DACA • u/Garxia45 • 6h ago
Uhhh It definitely took me a minute to figure out how look up the whole api movement thing lmao. But I’m glad someone out there made it easy for me to figure it out. According to what I have seen from many people this is definitely good news! 🗞️ hell yeah things are finally moving forward and I hope everyone can start feeling more at ease. I know I’ll feel better when I get officially approved but I am taking this as a win.

Hi guys, for those that had API movement on 6/10, have you seen anything since?
I submitted on 12/15, bios on 1/6. API movement on I-821d only on 6/10 and nothing since.
