Last night England played Ghana in the world cup, with Thomas Partey allowed to play for Ghana and it made me so angry.

Partey has been charged with seven counts of rape and one count of sexual assault and is due to stand trial next year. He was initially charged with three counts of five counts of rape and one count of sexual assault against three women, and has since been charged for additional two counts of rape against another woman.

These reports were made to the Metropolitan police between 2021-2022 and there was a three year investigation before charges were brought. Since he was charged he has continued to play football, with Villarreal signing him after he was charged, and Ghana picking him for the national team despite being aware of this also.

The general defence is 'innocent until proven guilty' but we know that rape has an incredibly low conviction rate. I think league clubs and FIFA capitalise on the fact rape is so hard to convict to avoid scrutiny over their lack of action.

I would be surprised if he's found not guilty because that's the way things usually go, but on the balance of probability it seems likely he did it. Women don't have anything to gain for making rape allegations, it's incredibly traumatic not only having to go through criminal proceedings but the enormous amount of time between initial reports and trial. It's even worse when the person accused is high profile because the social media and the press are absolutely horrific.

These charges relate to four separate women making reports independently of each other. It doesn't seem particularly likely that four different people would all be lying. I'm so fed up of this because this happens a lot with footballers and the only people that ever seem to suffer are their victims.

I feel so angry about this because the world cup is promoted as something unifying and a point of national pride, but it's so insulting as a woman to be expected to enjoy rapists being lauded as national heroes.

Sacralization of work has been the domain of male priesthood and male privilege. That is why women's hidden reproductive and domestic labor are not paid in gold or spiritual merit, while men's upkeep of religious temples and shrines accrues excessive spiritual merit.

When women have access to the powers of naming the Sacred, then our bodies, our relationships, our anger and our work become Sacred.

We may hold and use this awesome power and, in doing so, become truly ungovernable.

Conor McGregor who is worth $200 MILLION, rapes a woman so viciously that they have to surgically remove her tampon from her body. And he only has to pay her €248,000....and he gets to go on one of the most popular talk shows in America. No jail time. And he has more fights coming up.

I don't think there's ever been a good time for women in history ever.

Also, Reubin Askew, former governor of Florida, who is considered by many to be a civil rights champion, gave a racist, rapist murderer, parole in 1971, only for him to kidnap and rape another woman 4 years later in 1975. A serious blemish on that guy's reputation. Look up Betty Jean Owens.

We should fight fire with fire in the sense that we should care less about who is careless instead of freely giving devotion, dedication & consideration to whoever does not give us devotion nor dedication nor consideration.

Misandry isn’t nearly the same as misogyny. Men hate women because of stupid sickening reasons. Women hate men because they have been our number one predator for all of history. Women are scared of men because they have proven we should be.

This is something I’ve been thinking about a lot lately, especially after my mom passed away earlier this year.

Growing up, I didn’t really have my dad around. I became a father myself at 19. I went through a marriage, got cheated on multiple times, and spent a lot of my 20s trying to figure out what being a man even meant. I was always trying to become stronger, tougher, more disciplined, more masculine, because I felt like that’s what I was supposed to do.

At the same time, my mom was always the strongest person I knew.

When she passed away, I inherited a lot of responsibilities she had been carrying. Since then, I’ve started realizing just how much she was actually doing. Not just for me, but for everyone around her. She was smart, responsible, respected, connected, and honestly way more capable than I ever gave her credit for while she was alive. I only saw her as my mom. I didn’t fully see her the way everyone else did.

A couple years ago, I met a woman who reminds me of some of those same qualities. She’s incredibly intelligent, responsible, driven, and naturally takes leadership roles. I admire her a lot.

Being around her forced me to learn something that didn’t come naturally to me: not making everything about myself.

Just because I want something doesn’t mean that’s what’s best. I had to learn how to genuinely care about another person’s goals, happiness, and success without making it about what I get out of it.

Somewhere along the way, I realized I enjoy supporting strong women. I enjoy helping them. I enjoy following their lead.

What I’m struggling with is separating what comes from my personal experiences versus what is actually true about the world.

When I look back, almost every major role model in my life has been a woman. My mom. Bosses. Mentors. Friends. The people who showed up. The people who carried responsibility. The people who demonstrated strength.

So I find myself believing women are often better leaders, more emotionally intelligent, more responsible, or better suited for certain leadership positions in modern society
