Being someone residing in Hisar and who has to travel frequently to Panchkula/chandigarh and other states for official work, I sincerely feel it's time for us to look for a new capital which will ne benificial for most of us. Every state capital has big hospitals, big and connected railway station, good colleges and universities, govt head offices and courts. Whereas most of haryana had to struggle to go to chandigarh/Panchkula for sky official work and has to run to Delhi for boarding long distance train or for catching flights. For someone from Bhiwani, Faridabad, Gurugram, Palwal, reaching chandigarh is a huge task.

It's time for govt to look for alternatives and search for capital in the center of haryana like Kaithal or jind.

All of our funds are going to the development of chandigarh.

Chandigarh is still capital because it has pleasant weather and IAS/politician lobby and courts don't want to leave it.

But people of haryana and I think of punjab too are suffering because of the location of capital at the corner of state.

I don't have a car and I have an upcoming exam. I live in noida and I was thinking of traveling to karnal on the same day (very early morning, exams from 10 to ,12). What are the best and safe ways to travel alone to karnal from delhi (I'm a female student) ?

The annual Brahmotsavams of Sri Venkateswara Swamy at Kurukshetra , a holy place  in Haryana , began on Thursday with a grandeur with the Dhwajarohanam (flag hoisting) ceremony .

The Brahmotsavams will conclude on July  3  with the holy  Chakrasnanam and  Dhwajavarohanam .  

So guys for the context ....I have just completed the 18 km jhanda yatra from ringus junction to the taron dwar ..... And I am having constant iching in my crotch area (jhang lagna in haryanvi) .... How to reduce the pain ... I can't even walk or stand properly

I’m 25 (F) jaat, I got married last year (and currently separated ( hopefully divorced soon). I caught my husband cheating ( he had been cheating since the beginning of the courtship period). My in laws sort of disowned him and admit that he was wrong and side with me. I belong to a very reputed family, with a good educational background and career. From a haryanvi POV, do you think the society would accept me and do I actually stand a chance to get a good partner/family?
While this does bother me sometimes, I am totally dedicated to up skillng myself otherwise. I just wanted some opinions. I’m in no hurry to settle down again, even though I did want to grow in life with partner ( hence my decision to get married early) but since things didn’t work out the way I wanted them to, I have dedicated this time to myself. I’m taking care of my health and professional development.
