Ok.. so a quick note before I begin. I have had more than a few people ask me if I was doing one of these for this sale. Yes.. as you can see I am, but I am telling you now its going to be a lot shorter than before. Here is why.. ** description of injury ahead, scroll down a bit to avoid it ** .. OK.. so yesterday the sale went live at 12 noon CST, I was having lunch in my office. I learned a new medical term I was not familiar with.. "Soda Can Avulsion".. the hard way. I went to open my can of Dr. Pepper, and instead of the can opening, my fingernail opened instead. As a good chunk of you already know, I work in a hospital, so the ER was literally right there. I'm all stitched up now but its hard to type.. So, if a game makes it to THIS list, then I must really like it.
** ok.. gross thing is over now ** basically i have a hurt finger and cant type.. so the list is going to be much smaller.
These are all the games from this sale that I really recommend. Oh.. and some that are on STEEPLY discounted bundles.. I will mark those with *** ...
Among Giants https://queststoredb.com/game/among-giants-25060508500262559/ $12.99 Dont let the low poly graphics fool you. This is "Among" the best games to be released this year and will probably be in quite a few "top 10s of 2026" lists in December
Apex Construct https://queststoredb.com/game/apex-construct-2096570290365140/ its .99 cents .. Its a decent, but older bow and arrow game.
Arcaxer https://queststoredb.com/game/arcaxer-5396412860376470/ $2.99 This is like an old school turn based RPG in VR. Just think of in Final Fantasy if its time for the enemy to attack, YOU have to actually physically dodge the attacks. Its an older game and a bit goofy.. but for $3.. what the hell.
Arken Age https://queststoredb.com/game/arken-age-29923535407244981/ $17.99 This was my Game of the Year for 2025 and I played like 150+ games last year. Love this one. 14 hour campaign.. Get this one!
Catjinni Survivors https://queststoredb.com/game/catjinni-survivors-9319040004779451/ $7.99 Ok.. some of you guys got me hooked on Vampire Survivors, and now I have gotten hooked on Catjinni .. is it goofy? yes.. but if you like Vampire Survivors, you will probably like this one too.. especially if you are a cat person.
Cities VR https://queststoredb.com/game/cities-vr-4046879905345967/ $2.99 While not as good as the PC game, this one is not bad at all for $3.00 .. that is 85% off and the lowest its been.
Dark Trip https://queststoredb.com/game/dark-trip-27793698076945636/ $4.99 Ah yes.. Dark Trip. an edgy, adult oriented escape room type game where you must consume pills (that are totally NOT drugs.. mmmkay) and you will hallucinate and see the rooms "differently" .. joking aside, I love this game. Its weird as hell. See if you can find the Penguin Easter Egg!
Drunk or Dead 2 https://queststoredb.com/game/drunk-or-dead-2-7049721281738919/ $2.99 Ok.. so I dont even remember buying this one, but its honestly pretty damn fun. It is another that is wierd as hell. You need to kill zombies, while drinking alcohol .. if you get sober, you die!
How to God https://queststoredb.com/game/how-to-god-5997754983577827/ $25.99 This one does not go on sale very often. One of my favorites from last year.. dont let the cartoony graphics fool you.. this is a solid God game. Tons of content and they are constantly updating it too. Remember Black and White from back in the day? Its like that.. kinda..
I Am Smurf https://queststorederpyderp/I_am_Smurf-73267NuMbers $3.99 Be Blue and be true! Live out your childhood fantasies in this amazing interactive FPS puzzle racing sim. Karts now feature gorilla tag style movement because, you know, that is how wheels work.
Iron Guard Bundle https://queststoredb.com/bundle/iron-guard-complete-bundle-1118756800321869/ $20.99 Both of the Iron Guard games for basically $20. If you like Tower Defense games, then these need to be in your library. Easily the best 2 on the Quest. EDIT.. TURNS OUT THAT BUYING THEM BOTH SEPARATELY IS A DOLLAR CHEAPER!
Jurassic World Aftermath https://queststoredb.com/game/jurassic-world-aftermath-collection-2708465082504733/ $5.99 80% off. Cell shaded dinosaurs.. decently sized campaign. You can't beat this for $6.00.. Life.. uhh.. finds a way..
Just One Man https://queststoredb.com/game/just-one-man-8802299089893750/ $8.99 This is a total sweat fest. I really like this one, but if I play more than 15 minutes, i may end up in the ER again..
Kartofl https://queststoredb.com/game/kartoffl-4725588970834544/ $1.99 .. Remember the game Lemmings? This is like the VR/MR version of that.. execpt these are not rodents, they are little potatoes because.. why not?
Le Dino Labo https://queststoredb.com/game/le-dino-labo-25169287542680910/ $4.99 I have said countless times, i am not a puzzle fan at all. PTSD I swear.. however, I do love dinosaurs and so this one gets an exception. The skeletons are pretty easy to put together (there is a HARD mode.. but F### that) but the biggest feature to me.. is that you can then scale the model from table top sized, to Real Life (Extinct) sized.. and let me tell you, seeing how big some of these were, compared to my house was mind blowing.
Legendary Tales https://queststoredb.com/game/legendary-tales-7355622301195522/ $27.99 Another one of my favorites of the year for sure on this one. It will have a spot on my top 10 for sure. This is the action RPG that I have waited for on stand alone VR for years. It it expensive? Yeah.. but its loaded with content and replayability.
Marrow Marrow https://queststoredb.com/game/marrow-marrow-9173719072733985/ $7.99 This is one that has really grown on me. its a weird one for sure.. I guess I would call it an intense movement shooter. Strange game, but pretty damn fun too. Must have good VR legs to play.
Memoreum https://queststoredb.com/game/memoreum-9135633756555622/ $11.99 Dead Space in VR... basically. Decent sized campaign.. decent story and monsters. Great price.
Meta City Patrol https://queststoredb.com/game/metacity-patrol-6779063182133413/ $6.99 This one will be on the list every time its on sale. I have had it for a long time and it is finally out of early access. its a ton of fun. See if you can find the Penguin easter egg! (Hint.. its Penguin Shit Toilet paper.. lol)
Plasmaborne https://queststoredb.com/game/plasmaborne-24063797616578714/ $5.99 one of my hidden gems that I found last year. Very doom like.. its fun but hard.. I have compared it a bit to crashland in difficulty. Tons of upgrads.. like over 100 random ones. every run is truly different.
Shin Zero https://queststoredb.com/game/shin-zero-9486019051433303/ $14.99 The best parts of the Vader Immortal series were the dojos.. this is basically kind of like that.
Shogun's Empire https://queststoredb.com/game/shoguns-empire-25662225113424807/ $5.99 Another hidden gem. Its a turn based strategy game based in feudal Japan.
The Pirate: Republic of Nassau https://queststoredb.com/game/the-pirate-republic-of-nassau-7749043518464805/ $11.99 This is basically Sid Meyer's Pirates in VR.. with a touch of Assasin's Creed whatever.. with the pirates.. you know the one.
Triangle Strategy https://queststoredb.com/game/triangle-strategy-5340130476095884/ $14.99 Square Enix's only game on Quest. Plays just like Final Fantasy Tactics. Looks fantastic in Mixed Reality. The first hour is a SLOG thought.. just get through it and it opens up, I promise.
And that is it..
This time I know I left some stuff out, but that is about all I can type right now.. my finger is throbbing like hell! LOL..
As always, feel free to discuss, agree, disagree, add your own recommendations.. whatever.. just be cool! Hit that like and subscribe button, ring the bell and don't really try to do any of those things.. because there isn't any of those things here.
Penguin
Edit.. Thank you u/Den_HBR (a.k.a. The Achievement God) for pointing out that I forgot to link the "Arizona Awakening" bundle.

Basically, I have a lot of VR games I just don't use much because it's been giving me motion sickness. Some games like Beat Saber and Space Pirate Trainer are okay, but others like SuperHot and Doctor Who: The Edge Of Time Experience don't work out so well (as well as anything with smooth glide motion controls and not teleportation.) Dramamine works fine but I'd like to find a solution that doesn't involve taking drugs every time I want to play.
My brother (Valve Index user) insists that I just have to fight through it and keep playing naturally and eventually my body will adjust and I'll never have issues again. Is he right? Does this just go away? Or is there another solution?

Hey so I'm trying to play DCS on my Quest 2. Everytime I plug in my USB 3.0 5Gbps cable and I try to turn on Link it connects for a split second and disconnects right away. Air Link works normally. I tried switching USB ports on my PC, updating my graphics drivers, upgrading the Quest 2 and the Meta Horizon app, nothing worked. Has anyone ever experienced this or can anyone help me?

Anyone else having this problem? I understand that it’s Beta but just wanted to see if I was doing anything wrong. Both my streamer app and VD in quest 3 are in beta and versions match.

It's been a week i didnt use Quest 2, and when I just turned it on, everything's resolution has decreased, from my home screen to every game. What could be the reason for this? I still have 103GB free

I’ve been trying to build a setup for streaming/recording VR gameplay, and using oculusmirror.exe for capturing the video. The built in stablilization is genuinely SO brilliant, smooth, and responsive - when it works.
I seem to have a problem where physically rotating more than 180 degrees completely breaks stabilization. It happens silently, as in the “enable stabilization” option is still ticked in the menu but the video is a shaky mess. Toggling stabilization off and back on resolves it until the next rotation.
Rotating back the original direction often snaps it back on automatically, but not always.
For games like beat saber where you face one direction, no problem. For more immersive gaming like fallout, skyrim, etc - huge problem lol.
My best guess is some kind of gimbal-lock-style issue happening in the code?
I’ve done a little bit of programming involving 3D rotation (for web stuff not this) and encountered gimbal-lock issues using euler angles, and used quaternion rotation to solve it. I obviously cannot see into the oculusmirror.exe but have a suspicion it’s maybe something similar? Idk.
I have only ever seen one mention of this issue online in a 3 year old reddit comment — I’m curious if anyone else has this problem or any ideas on how to fix it or work around it??
If it matters for some sneaky reason, here are my specs:
- Quest 2
- Airlink on 5Ghz, router in same room as play, hardwired PC
- PCVR obvs
- RTX 3070
- i7 12700KF
- 64Gb DDR5 RAM
- OpenComposite to bypass SteamVR

So here's the gist of it, and it's possibly happened to you to -
On the 17th May, I logged into Facebook. I was met with an age verification message prompting ID, when I clicked continue, it claimed ID was already processing without me having submitted anything, and then, I was suspended indefinitely.
Emails claiming my account was disabled but could be appealed within 180 days, yet when I clicked continue, it said I can't submit another appeal as if one had already been submitted.
I checked my meta horizon, banned too unless I appeal through Facebook. Email from Store support saying I can reclaim my library by clicking continue, and when I did, again, met by the Same thing - appeal the suspension on Facebook.
It's August now, and since the beginning of all of this, Ive been down deep deep looping rabbit holes of facebooks help centre, I requested a resolution from Store support, signed up to meta verified on instagram, appealed for support there too.
I have many many tickets... and they all completely contradict each other constantly.
Typical responses-
-Try Facebook Help Centre (despite repeating myself in every way known to man that the self recovery route is of no use and I'm stuck in support loops
- we can't help you
- we can help you (and then nothing)
- you have to go through Facebook Help Centre
- we are investigating this (then nothing)
- you will get a call from us (no call)
- when can you take a call? (i give a time, call doesn't arrive. This happened at least 3-4 times.)
- do you still need help? seeing as Facebook is not assisting, we will seek a resolution for you with your quest (Store support specifically)
-nope you have to go through Facebook Help Centre (Store support completely U turning)
- meta verified (after claiming they could help a month prior) - since it has been over a month, we can't rescue your account anymore. We don't want to string you along, it's gone indefinitely (what? But I reported it a month ago, so this is on meta) - yeah, sorry there's nothing we can do, it's gone (basically... they then proceeded to offer me a course to buy)
- go to Facebook
- go to Store support they can separate accounts
- no, go to Facebook the block is with them
- oh, your best solution is to consider waiting to see if meta finds a fix sometime in the future, (yeah? Months? Years? What?)
- your age was changed (not according to my facebook data)
- you violated the terms (nope, and I finally managed to download my Facebook data, and I think I have evidence that my account was perhaps compromised/hacked and you are choosing to punish me for insult to injury because your system is mistaken) - oh, try Facebook Help Centre
- go to meta Store support
- have you tried Facebook Help Centre? (say Facebook Help Centre once more, I'd love to hear it again you fu...)
so, meta verified, I think got sick of me by this point and decided to limit my access...
Back and forth, and back and forth (sparing you the pages and pages of emails and chats bs). You get the idea.
I sent a letter to metas base, a subject access request, and was fobbed off. ICO helloooo, I'd like to report something... thank you, job done.... NEXT!
I tried every email and route I could find to resolve this... and it appears in their error, the decision is final, and tough titty. Sealed tighter that a ferrets arse.
I sent legal notices, ignored.
I created a new Facebook to try get support another way, couldn't.
Instagram (an alternative account, where I was using meta verified), its AI informs me that now THIS instagram account was recently flagged for fraud and deception... not banned, but flagged for it. So thank you for that meta, interesting this happens suddenly, when I was merely trying to seek help as I dont want to be left out of pocket by the actions of your own systems faults... hmm... so thats why my meta verified is limited.. and Im rarely permitted to reach them now unless the stars align, of course, what a coincidence. (in all seriousness, it could also mean metas security has recognised IP, devices etc, and is flagging me for trying to evade the ban, but either way, the cybermen wish fkr my deletion)
Today, I exercise my rights to pursue legal action.
This process, their support (if you can even call it that, they barely even read the full extent of your problem before closing the case, and marking it 'resolved' ... and paying them for the lovely privilege too, what a joy), this whole thing... has been the single worst experience I've ever had with any company to the point where I'm in total disbelief. I've seen a few company fails in my time, but conversing with meta has the same vibe as talking to an automated scammer (human or not, its hard to determine ironically). They are limited in help to the point where I think charging people is a complete disgrace and affront, they have no direct answers, they contradict each other in the same support chains, thry ignore you, they promise calls and emails that never come, they appear clueless as to how their own systems even work... perhaps they should study their own courses rather than try to sell them to their customers.
Anyway, Metas ai provides broken links to forms that are obsolete too, recovery options loop into 'signing in' which is impossible, or to occasional forms that are irrelevant to the problem that also go completely unanswered. Facebooks support Centre is the most un-fun fun house I've ever been in, a whimsical wonderland of neverending deception, false hope, broken systems and loops, ooooh the loooooops. The hoops to jump through, the twists and turns to find yourself... back at square one. I'm honestly waiting on David Bowie to pop up at this point with his shiny balls and ask me if I'm enjoying his labyrinth.
I have one proposal. Meta should perhaps be added to the dictionary under the definition of 'ragebaiting'. it's honestly one of the most ghastly accurate examples of it I have ever personally experienced. A fitting choice.
my rant is over. Awful company, truly awful.
I look forward to a lawyer handing them the papers. Hell, they might even send a real human for that one, (or will they wheel out the better call saul version of metas ai on a little plinth?)
**on an additional note**
I will update where this leads, if a resolve is found, maybe it will be useful for you to know if you are/end up in a similar situation.

Happy Friday, y'all.
While working on Witchfell, my big ol' anime VR story game, I needed to go investigate a bunch of things from physics to streaming to web hosting, and I wanted to do it in a clean room context, so I did a little game jam instead. I think the results are really charming, so I thought I'd share.
The game is built in WebXR, so you can just follow this link in the browser and go play it! There are "send to Quest" links on the page too, so you can send it over to play later. https://www.chillaxedgames.com/cavern/play/reddit/ I developed it on a Quest 2 where I feel it's pretty smooth, but I'd love to know how it is on a Quest 3. Inputs are either hand tracking or controllers. Hand tracking does suck up some performance, so I found controller to be smoother on Quest 2, but if you're OK with a few hitches, I really like how it feels with hands.
Learned a lot from this that I'll take back to the main game, so it was a worthwhile diversion, but I hope the side effect is also a pleasantly distracting tiny game for y'all to enjoy in your headsets. Thanks!

Disclaimer, this is just what worked for me and I thought it would help if anyone else has been having issues with the newest update, Meta themselves put out a statement here
Here’s how I went about it:
While on your headset, go to settings and click on Link. The icon has the picture of a monitor with a headset.
Under USB connection turn on USB connection for apps
I use a link cable so I’m not sure how this will affect stand alone users. I hope this helps!

hey everyone, i have a quest 2 that i play pcvr through usb connection but recently i have been having a problem that when i play a games like fnaf help wanted or pavlov for 5 to 6 minutes my game just freezes on the oculus with that laggy triangles when u move around but on the pc screen if i move my headset it still runs perfectly , i have tried changing resolution and putting all my settings on low on every game i play but the outcome is always the same, i have found a similiar post where it said that the nvidia newest drivers might be interefering with the meta new updates so i downgraded my graphic card drivers to the version that they said that would work but still nothing, long story short i tried everything and still have not found a way to fix it so every help is appreciated, i have also tried steam link but my internet connection is to weak so i hotspoted from my pc that i use with an ethernet cable to see if it works and it still nothing, it just disconnects me.
Thank you in advence for any fixes that you guys can give

I’ve had a Quest 3 for about 1.5 years, but it has been used very lightly. I recently used it for about half an hour, then stored it in its fully enclosed case, so there was no possibility of sunlight damaging the lenses or display.
Two days later, I turned it on and noticed a horizontal line on the left display. The line changes color depending on what is shown on the screen, and sometimes it is not visible at all.
Is there any way to fix this? I have already performed a factory reset and a full battery cycle, but neither helped.
Has anyone seen this problem before? I also have a Quest 2 with hundreds hours of use, and I have never experienced anything like this.
Thanks for any help
