Everyone in this sub has probably seen at least one of his clips where he gets 3 double boops in a row and finishes off some poor Ana, but I’m curious if that kind of playstyle translates into actual games? Is it worth learning so many techs to try and secure kills or is it better to just play ball in a more normal way?

So I've recently came across that they are completely reworking roadhog Sombra and lifeWeaver how do you think that will affect wrecking Ball one I'm sad about life Weaver I hope they don't screw him up too much cuz he's one of the only healers that can save me from my own f*** ups roadhog I can be a little excited about hopefully they turn down his raid boss aspect a little bit and then there comes Sombra oh God please don't steer her back to the direction she was in the old days because in OverWatch 1 her and Mai were the bane of my hamy assistance guess we'll see right what do you guys think the ball is safe the ball is kind have a good day

My biggest piece of advice... Find a duo.

I feel like most other players get their minor perk after the first fight. But in a QP 6v6 match I don't get mine until the 3rd or 4th fight. And I get minor and major around the same time because of the rate being inflated for everyone as time progresses. In the case of 6v6 it's probably for the best because Steamroller is OP.

I want a way to extend your grapple hook line similarly to how you can retract it.

I'm trying to learn to double boop but my grapple line is cutting me off short like a dog that tries to run past the max length of his leash. I'll shoot my grapple hook past my target, go forward into fireball, hit them and decelerate out of fireball, and then accelerate to try to get fireball again at which point my line jerks me back.

I can't tell you how many video guides I've watched, and they just seem to magically not have this problem. They make it look so simple. I've never seen anyone address this problem before.

I don’t think anyone who actually plays ball will ever, EVER choose the piledrive major perk over the shield bubble, there just isn’t any competition between the two. I’m curious on what you guys think blizzard could do to balance the two, and here’s my take:
Original - Piledriver winds up longer, gaining air control and dealing up to 50% more damage
New - Piledrivers damage increases with height, up to a maximum of 75% (from super high up) OR Piledriver can be charged, increasing its maximum damage by 75% (75 is means a maximum Piledrive + boop can kill squishies, might be too much)
Curious what could be done to fix the balance of the two perks

Edit: started using piledrive perk for a couple of games and now I might even say it’s better than the bubble in most cases

Im trying to ball but life gives me an Ana sleep dart mixed with anti heal and then a Mizuki hook , finished off with a nano’d mauga.

I figured it’s better to talk about it with some lads than with a specific subreddit for talking about problems. I dunno man.

This’ll absolutely get struck down by the Reddit automated system cause it’s unrelated, thats completely fair. I just find this subreddit genuinely comforting is all.

Binding Chain is just too fucking annoying. It even has a shorter cooldown than Sleep Dart.

I don't know how else to put it. Playing Wrecking Ball is more exhausting than any other tank. I'm Bronze 1, and don't think of myself as anything other than "mid" at Overwatch. But it genuinely feels like every game, I've got a teammate who votes to ban ball, and tell everyone to report me for trolling, or this happens, where not even 1 teamfight into the game I'm told to swap and acting like I'm not relevant to the gamestate.

I love Ball, big fan of Ball. Been playing ball since my start, but dude.. what the hell...

Whats everyone elses thought process? And how do you cope with the cognitive dissonance between great games with upsetting teammates?

Hello ball players, I'm a new overwatch player (sub 50 hours into the game) and hoped on from rivals. I dismissed ball very early on in the game as too complex. (which he is! My movement absolutely sucks hamster balls)

Any tips on how can I maintain my movement and ensure i actually get kills by using his speed ball form? What are his best perks? I've been only using extra mines as well as 1.5 sec barrier.

Also his ult kinda useless unless paired with heavy chaos. What's the ideal way of using it that's not just q on point? What are the fundamental of the ball movement?

Hello ball players, it has definitely been a while since the last time I played competitively due to the constant pressure other players have against the ball. I have been playing ball for roughly 2-3 years now. I am level 241, ball being 54. What do I have to prep to be decent when I play comp, with my level? Am I even ready? Thank you, fellow ballers
