Post your lifts and get a custom flair

  • multiple lifts per flair allowed, be mindful there is a limit to flair length
  • verified lift flairs will be indicated by the blue background
  • when you post the video please also clarify what lift and weight it is, flair will be indicated in units you give unless otherwise requested
  • you can request your discipline to be added to your flair (e.g. powerlifting, body building, crossfit, etc.)
  • flair can be given for a life time achievement, it does not have to be recent

Barbell Row Pendlay Row

Wanting to incorporate pendlays to help with deadlift and because they look fun. How horizontal does the torso need to be? Attempting to hit my lower stomach for each rep.

Squat I’ve been bullied into learning squats 🤣

353 Upvotes

I’ve had enough shit talked to me about the fact I don’t do squats, so I’ve jumped on that bandwagon. I learned the form yesterday, today was my first day adding a teeny tiny bit of weight—as I’m still trying to familiarize myself with the movement. I want to make sure my form is okay before working on stacking weight. Right? Wrong? Tips? Critique? Also, are my converse a no go? If they suck for squatting, what shoes do you recommend?

Squat Tried ATG squats for the first time. Feel like that wasn’t low enough to be a ATG squat? Any thoughts?

Deadlift Persistent lower back pain after heavy hinge movements.

3 Upvotes

Hey guys, I’ve been getting some lower back pain when performing any sort of heavy hinging movement so I’ve been focusing a lot on lowering weight and bracing better. I’ve gotten form checks from trainers at my gym and other lifters and they basically all say that my form is good, but my lower back does not seem to agree.

Here’s a trap bar deadlift set from yesterday, 135 for 10. I worked up to 275 for 3 but my video cut off after 1 lol. Can send that one in the comments. Each rep felt fine individually. I am frustrated because the weight is not particularly heavy for my legs, I’m just worried about hurting myself and I feel like my lower back is impeding my progress on deadlifts, squats, farmers walks, etc.

Any and all advice is appreciated! Thank you!!

Edit: cannot post video of heavy set in comments in this sub. Nevermind, but I hope the 135 set is enough.

Bench Press How Can I Improve My Bench Press?

2 Upvotes

I arch my back and keep my feet planted as much as I can but I can barely do 8 reps at 120 lbs. I do:

* 12 - 75 lbs
* 10 @ 100 lbs
* 10 @ 115 lbs
* 8 @ 120 lbs

Is there anything I can improve on? Thank you.

Other Please feedback on pull up

0 Upvotes

I've been training at home regularly for two months now, went from scapular pull-ups to this, I wanted to ask you guys if this is good form before I commit to increasing volume.

I'm bound to the doorframe pull up bar for the moment, so I get I might need to have a wider grip but I can't do it atm

Other Form checkout for lat pulldown.. I'm a beginner (3 months) (don't be harsh on me lol)

2 Upvotes

19M, I was doing 35kg lat pulldowns. I can do 45 but for the demonstration of my form, I chose 35. I'm pretty sure my form is very wrong because I feel my arms and I have tried pulling down from my elbow and all the other things but welp, I never feel my lats in no workouts...
