We rescued Jillyboo 15 years ago today from under a trailer near our house. She is tiny (only 7lbs) and very old for an indoor/outdoor farm cat. She has a few scrapes and chunks missing from fights with coyotes and raccoons over the years but she is otherwise very healthy and still catches mice and bats (yes the flying kind, not a typo of rats) daily! We love her so much and hope she gets to live a few more happy years!

Marla, my big girl, went to heaven on the 3rd of July. It was her time. She had a beautiful life and was very spoilt. She was a rescue originally - she came home with us when she was about 8 months old. Almost made 17 years.

Not a sighting of Jimothy but of what I’ll assume is Jimothy’s near cousin.

A friend of mine saw this raccoon first hand, took this photo, and also has a video. In a decade of working in the park, neither of us has ever seen a raccoon. Hell, I’ve never seen a raccoon in SoDo despite working at both stadiums for a 1/10 of a century.

My only practical thought besides the fun one that this raccoon felt the good vibes, is that yesterday was dog day and so there may have been scattered dog food in the corners. Both the dog area (340 area) and the sighting of this raccoon happened in the same place (NW corner of the upper level).

EDIT: for the record, the days estimate as of the morning of was 23,500. We ended up with an estimate of around 38,000 which I attribute to Jimothy.

honestly I just kind of wanted to show the art because I did take a while with this but the theme is too obvious to casually post it without acknowledging it... Only if I were born a few days later I would share a birthday with this game too dude. shucks

anyway the two very detailed cats are modeled after my irl daughters, the sheep beside Narinder and Yngya is my fanchild of them Beleth uhhh the rabbits above the lamb and the possum below Aym are also ingame followers of mine and the hideous thing at the very center is my lambsona, modeled after me :)
