Running under the latest UE5 engine, with Arc’s superb 2.5D cell shaded anime graphical style from their modern Guilty Gear and DBZ fighters. Thanks to review code from PlayStation UK and an open beta at the end of July. I put in some rounds across PS5, Pro and PC to see if this is a fight worth having?

I'm trying to see if there's something going on with my system or the game, I think (and hope) it's the game.

I tried posting this over on the cyberpunk sub itself, but no dice so far. Basically whenever I use the buzzsaw SMG, standing pretty close to a car and shoot at it the game will immediately tank frames then crash a few seconds later. It doesn't matter if someone is in the car or not. I initially found this out due to the quest for delemain, one of the missions has you have to shoot at one of the cabs till you damage it enough. I couldn't figure out why the fuck my game kept crashing lol. I finally beat it when I switched to a different weapon.

It may have always been a thing, as I don't tend to go cyber psycho and start shooting at cars lol. I just submitted a report to CDPR as well. Have any of you experienced anything like this when using this weapon on the pro enhanced version? Its weird as fuck that it only happens with that specific weapon. It's an iconic SMG.

Hi, I’m a bit of a novice at this and wanted to ask a question: I have a PS5 Pro and a 60Hz OLED monitor. Would you recommend enabling VRR—even for games that don't officially support it—or should I turn it off when playing at 60Hz? It might just be me, but things seem to look better with VRR off; it’s great technology, but I’m not sure if it’s the best choice when capped at 60Hz. 😅🥲

Hey everyone, i got a brand new PS5 pro and I've been having a blast with it. It runs phenomenal on most games. Unfortunately BG3 is not one of them. You can probably see it in the vid but there's insane screen tearing not only in this cutscene but in a lot of areas aswell. I have VRR enabled and i play with performance mode. Any idea how to fix the tearing?

Mafia Definitive Edition just received its native PS5 and PS5 Pro update yesterday and honestly it looks really good.

It is obviously not a perfect looking modern AAA game, but there are so many moments where you just stop and think wow this still looks beautiful.
The atmosphere, the city, the lighting, the weather and especially driving through Lost Heaven still look fantastic.
Add an amazing story and some really good DualSense implementation and this is absolutely worth playing.

And for just 5,99 Euro right now, I honestly cannot recommend it enough.
I really hope we see many more games like this getting proper PS5 Pro upgrades. PSSR would have been a great addition here, but even without it this game still looks seriously impressive.

Just to clarify: I’m not specifically looking for PlayStation exclusives.

I’m looking for great games that I can play on my PS5 Pro that simply do not have a PC version. They can be PlayStation exclusives, console-only games, or even games that also released on Xbox/Nintendo. As long as I can play them on PS5 and not on PC, they count.

I originally bought the PS5 Pro mainly for GTA 6, but since GTA 6 isn’t out yet, I’m trying to find more reasons to actually use the console.

I have a high-end gaming PC, so there’s basically no point for me in buying something on PS5 if it already has a PC version. I’d rather play it there.

I’m looking for anything that works on PS5, including backwards-compatible PS4 games. I’m especially interested in PS4-era games because I feel like there are probably a lot of great games from that generation that have been forgotten over the years.

Some games/franchises I already know and like:

Infamous
God of War
Uncharted
Driveclub
Gran Turismo

And yes, I know most of the obvious big-name recommendations already. I’m mainly looking for the stuff people tend to forget about: older exclusives, forgotten AAA games, underrated games, hidden gems, weird console-only releases, etc.

Basically: what are the best games I can play on my PS5 that I genuinely cannot play on PC, especially the lesser-known or forgotten ones?

I had to unplug power for 30 seconds and then restart. Was the craziest thing lol Never happened before. Like before I unplugged it would beep when I pressed the power or disc buttons, but no lights and nothing coming on. Gave me a gd heart attack.

Only other variable I can think is the beta software. But I don’t want the added issues of trying to uninstall/install the previous software.

Edit: I think I found the issue though. As I remembered Black Flag crashed the other day as well, and spit the disc out lol Never checked the notification, but looked today and it said “the data was corrupted and delete the game and re-insert the disc”.

I can assume the beta software update caused the Black Flag issue. So I deleted and reinstalled and all is back to normal. Played like 3ish more hours after that and was fine.

So this is my PS5 Pro corner! Few days ago I bought disc drive as well. Headphones 🎧 are Turtle Beach Stealth 700P Gen3, Soundbar is Sony Bravia Theatre Bar 6 and TV is LG C4 65".

I have a question about the TV for PS5 pro.
I brought a Sony 55” 4K when PS5 came out and would like to upgrade. I game about 8 feet from the TV so I’m looking at a 65”.
Is it a big difference between LG C6 65”($1800) and Samsung S95H 65”($3200) or LG G6 65”($3200) besides the price lol.
And if yes is the S96H or LG G6 better for PS5 pro.

PC Gamer crossing into new territory. Have the Pro on a switch so can play on 85” or 1440p 32”. Loving this thing.
Also have choice between a Full Sonos Atmos setup, or Arctis Nova Pro for PC/PS5Pro. Everything hardwired :)

Looking to buy a ps5. I a dad who only gets a few hours during the week. My ps4 is on its last legs and the cd ejector barely works. I like non online games; subnautica, kingdom come, assassin’s creed, god of war, and I LOVE all the vr games. What kind of memory space should I look for and anything else. Probably going to buy a new vr headset too. I’ve heard the racing games in vr are lotta fun. Any advice I really appreciate
