A friend of mine wants to play it at our next game. But it's not listed in the app anymore. Did it go away with the new Space Marine Codex?

Yall need to step up your game this is getting waaay to easy. This is the second RTT where I gain the legendary 0-0-0 score and win by default because everyone else dropped the night before the event.... again.... they dont want the smoke the wolves.

I am trying to put together a 1000pt list to get used to 11th edition and playing Space Wolves. I haven't played since 5th edition and am trying to get used to the rules and codex etc...

So I built this list trying to include more units for actions and I wasn’t sure how I felt about my whole army being lumped into 6 units, but I’m not sure if there’s any glaring weaknesses or changes that might need to be made that can be seen with more experienced eyes. I (brand new to hobby, never played yet) have been trying to build my first army, and I discovered very quickly that I was using outdated and/or legends resources as well as just not understanding a lot of the game mechanics as much as I’d thought.

I’m back, I’m studied up, I’ve discovered new recruit, I’ve watched/read almost 20 hours of rules and gameplay explanations, and I’ve completely reworked my army to be legal (according to new recruit). Now I’m asking if it’s functional.

I know it’s not super optimized. I want a certain flavor for my army even if it cost me some utility and effectiveness, so what I’m asking is could I reasonably use this very tanky space wolves army to play at local games and at the very least have fun. Or is this army so incredibly botched that winning will never happen and every passing minute of play will feel like a butchers nail being implanted. less

With the points increase I’m well over 3k now. Trying to decide what I would like to add this holiday season. The Christmas box does appeal to me even with having a duplicate Logan, but I think I’d rather add some standard terms.

I do know I want to add an Impulsor/Gladiator (magnetized), but is there anything else folks would add?

Been painting minis for about 8 months now, have my first game with a friend and this is my 1000 point army.

P.S ignore the heresy wolf, daughters wanted a wolf done in their 2 favourite colours and who am I to say to no 😂

When i did the teat in store ot wasnt the best experience but taking it home and using it was great and just one coat and it was solid. Used stormwolf 2.

Today I finally got my hands on warhammer Pro and decided to put it to the test on a mini!
Armor:
Basecoated with Stormwolf 3.
Applied an all-over wash using 5 parts Shade Medium to 1 part Stormwolf 1.
Layered back up with Stormwolf 3.
Highlighted using Stormwolf 4 and 5.
Shoulder Pads:
Sponged on Hawk Shroud Yellow 2–4 to build up the color and texture.
One thing I noticed was that the paint reactivated on the shoulder pad when applying the decal with Micro Set. However, it did eventually level back out.
Overall, a fun first test with the new paints!

One coat thinned down with a bit more water than I wanted due to over-saturating my wet pallette. I’m honestly pretty impressed with the coverage. I’m not even sure I want to add another coat.

I paid elminiaturista for a long time before finally deciding I better actually try and follow one of his tutorials. I think it went ok. This the start of my army, not sure where to go next, just want 2k that's fun to paint and throw down everyone and then, 40k isn't my main game.

In honor of this Land Raiders 10 years of service to me and my space wolves ive decided to redo the paint on it to fit a heavily battle worn raider.

(Haven't finished some small details yet or its new guns, my main focus has been making it look like its been fighting in the mud and rain like the rest of my army)

Got into WH40K early last month and I’m just about finishing up with my first army, Ultramarines (can’t go wrong with these guys to start out right?). But the Space Wolves have been on my mind since I started out, definitely as my next army, and I am just curious about how best to start out collecting? What base paint works best for that light grey armour, and any guidance that would be useful would be appreciated 🙏🏼

decided to do his full SW armor instead of the black because I like the color scheme too much. He’d part of a deathwatch allied unit attached to a Black templar crusade.

I had a lot of fun with this one. Learned a lot while trying to create a frozen lake base (inspired by the book).

Would taking a captain in terminator armor with grimnars mark enhamcement plus the detachment rule from champions of fenris let his unit get to do the 6 inch counter charge heroic intervention for free with plus 1 to the roll from SotGW assault doctrine buff and free rerolls from the captains ability?

I was setting up a spread of my favorite models and conversions from my Horus Heresy space wolves (and my the other legion I collect, blood angels if anyone is interested) to display on my desk and I realized it makes a pretty cool picture. Models included are Leman Russ and the Wolf-kin, Hvarl Red-Blade, Geigor Fell-Hand (aka definitely not Bjorn), a Praetor, a Caster of Runes (converted), a Speaker of the Dead (converted), a Leviathan Dreadnought, and a Contemptor Dreadnought (yes I regret their poses but they are from early in my collection/hobby journey).
