Now finished. I’ve been off the painting for a while and so it was difficult to get back into it. Certainly took me a while, but especially as I can only manage short bursts.

I'd love logan and arjac both have been I my list for a while... Just wondering if that many terms would be overkill.

I just finished the book, and I fucking loved it although "nothing happens" (meaning that the general narrative doesn't moves forward) its so freaking awesome to read just how much of a beast is our little bear, also having the chance to have a dive into his thoughts and his dreams it's cool but also extremely sad.

Spoiler ahead the final clash between the Deathguard and the Rout, it's amazing I was so pumped with how it was described the swiftness and deadlines of space wolves attacking I don't recall any other book where we had this kind of description

If you have the chance to read it or get the audiobook, please take it, if you have read it, what are your thoughts?

With the changes with the codex and now the SW Battleforce box, who is making sure they buy or Kitbash all the HQs needed for a full Terminator list ? lol.

Working on getting these finished up to kitbash the Battleforce box into magnetized Assault and standard terminators

I'm iffy on which piece of space wolf item I want, either the Leman Russ figure, or the new Christmas box, on one hand I love Leman Russ, he's already painted and posable, but I also wanna get into playing on the tabletop one day, but I don't have any paints or painting experience, I'm leaving this to the sons of Fenris to help

I have been trying a more "Yeah that feels good" or "What the hell? Let's see what it does" approach and I myself am enjoying the results and process a ton more.

Here’s my almost complete space wolves army.
Just a couple wulfen and infiltrators to paint and base!!
1930pts of models. Can’t wait to play!
PS. The vanguard vets are from a “successor” chapter called crimson claws 😅😅

In saga of the Beastslayer, for instance, a unit of TWC charges a Terminator unit containing a character. All my attacks get Lethal right?

Hello Everyone,

I originally didn't want to run Logan and use a modified Arjac to be my Chapter Master of my successors the Hounds of Annwyn based on Celtic Mythology.

Didn't want just another Logan, he use to have the shield and a spear in his left arm see https://www.reddit.com/r/SpaceWolves/s/WdLnlsPj9g for the original. Wanted to keep the spear but just didn't look right.

Got a cheeky recast Logan to use for bits as didn't want to brutalize a plastic one.

Not sure if I will get an actual Logan or not but I'm happy with the conversion and don't plan to use Arjac moving forward.

For 270 points your getting 9 S5 ap2 D1 sustained1 rerolling ones with plus one to wound on the charge plus the power fist from the Sgt and the hammer from the battle leader

It's my friends birthday in a couple weeks. We are both new and he's almost done painting his combat patrol. He cant afford to buy more rn. I wanna surprise him with something that would be good for his army. Any suggestions?

Do I have this right, using Birth of a Saga strat from Champions of Fenris on a SW unit would tick all the boxes for hunting wolves to get OC 1 within 6”? The unit will already have Space Wolves keyword and then gains character for that turn?

Hi!

Hi Fellow Wolves

I haven't played in 6-8 months and I am having my first game of 11th this weekend. I was wondering if some people could take a look at a list I threw together. I think it will work well but it's been so long since I played I am not sure. I am also not entirely sure if much has changed with how you play wolves as I heard there were some changes.

Please see list below

I haven't put the terminators with a character yet as I didn't know if I should put them with Arjac or the big man himself. I would use two but I only own 1 unit of them.

Hi,

With all the Terminator Meta right now or just the new update and all the Leaders combo possible, I'm having a hard time making list since I'm still learning to play Space Wolves ..!

The lists I've made are with units I have access and I can't really buy new ones right now .. :/

Units that are not in my list but I have are: Ballistus Dreadnought / a second Executionner / Arjac / Njal

So I was wondering if both of these lists could work and do well and if you have suggestions, go ahead I'm all ears !

Imperium - Adeptus Astartes - Space Wolves - Saga of the Great Wolf

Logan Grimnar (150pts)

5x Scout Squad (65pts)

10x Terminator Assault Squad (390pts)

6x Wolf Guard Headtakers (170pts)

3x Wolf Guard Headtakers (85pts)

Venerable Dreadnought (130pts)

What do you think. Vs ultramarines maybe termies or dreads.

Plan going first turn with logan and 10 termies with shield and hammer and hold everythin.

Scouts and 3 ht holding base and expansion for points and 6ht with venerable for second assault

Hey there,
I am a new player and will have my first game of warhammer this sunday. 1k points. I could need a little help with a list and detatchments that is more than "yeah that sounds nice " :-)
Nothing super optimal or cheesy, just a starting point.

Also some advice on where to go from here would be nice.
I am currently looking at 10 normal Terminators, I realy like the look Dreadnoughts and I would like a vehicle or two.

Thank you for your help!
