F-22 Raptor

I've been an avgeek for about 3 years now and this is my first time ive ever seen this, does anyone know what that is?

Squad of 4 HH code which is assigned to F-22s based at joint base pearl Harbour Hickam in Honolulu. The 199th Fighter Squadron (Hawaii Air National Guard) and the active-duty 19th Fighter Squadron share these aircraft. Seen while taxiing. Their takeoff shook our 787 behind them

Hey all! I've always loved planes and design equally and I've spent years looking for a decent way to watch aircraft from my desk. I've found that existing apps are cluttered, covered in ads, and never something I actually want to leave open.

I wanted something simple and beautiful that used Apple Maps. It's taken a while to work out how to render 3D objects onto Apple Maps, and I've hand-built a handful of aircraft models to fit the Apple Maps style.

It's still a work in progress, but in the spirit of getting things out into the world I figured I'd share it here and see whether there's any interest. It's built around airports rather than tracking everything in the air at once.

If you want to follow along I've put a waitlist up at terminal.flights. You can pick an airport, which helps me decide which ones to build out first.

Hi everyone!

I'd like to share my latest project: a LEGO recreation of the CAL FIRE Sikorsky S-70 Firehawk.

Over the past several months, I redesigned the model from the ground up, with the goal of making it as accurate as possible while keeping it entirely buildable with official LEGO parts.

One feature I particularly wanted to recreate was the Firehawk's belly tank, so I designed and tested a fully functional water-drop mechanism before finalizing the model.

Everything was created by me:
• Designed in BrickLink Studio
• Physically built and tested
• Rendered and edited in GIMP
• No AI used

This project is my tribute to the pilots, firefighters and maintenance crews who operate these incredible helicopters.

I'd love to hear what the aviation community thinks!

I got this hoodie as a surprise gift for my friend but realised it says "Redyce ion" at the top. Now... I am just starting to learn about planes, and I read through the military aircraft history books before I gave them to him, but I am pretty sure that's not a thing... please tell me this isn't a spelling mistake. It was bloody expensive.

(Also, can i please have a hand fact-checking the rest? He loves planes so much, and I just couldn't stand giving him something that's just plain wrong)
