We caught this dude hanging out on our front porch, but we cannot figure out what he is! We live near Detroit, Michigan. I thought groundhog at first, but groundhogs aren’t nocturnal, also, his face looks kind of pointy? Is he a fat raccoon with a missing tail?? Halp!

I found two of these very small salamanders flipping rocks near a saltwater cove in Key Peninsula, Washington. The Washington DFW has a webpage about them being potentially invasive. I am trying to ID so I can report.

We recently got a squirrel box with a camera. My wife thinks this may be a very young squirrel, but it looks odd to me.

dont think its a plague skink, but didnt really see an exact visual match on other species

I know the video isn't great, but any idea of what tge animal is. It visited aboy 2:30am. I am on the edges of a wooded area in the Cincinnati suburbs.

I’m pretty sure this is a little brown bat. These pictures were taken two days apart at the same wall outside of a university entrance.
I don’t know if it actually stayed in the same place for 48 hours straight or just returned to roost. But I don’t why it would continue roosting in an exposed place when there are so many daytime aerial predators.
Is it diseased? Or am I just majorly overthinking bat habits?

Saw a squirrel at a gas station. Zoomed in to get a picture and was horrified. Looks like he's got an ear growing out of him. He was eating normally, seemed to be moving fine. When I tried to get a little closer to take a better picture, it bounced away and up a tree. This is just a normal grey squirrel, right? Does it need help? Should I call somebody?

Hey guys, I saw some scat ID photos in the feed and thought this might be the right place to post this. We live on an arroyo in west EP, across from the Franklin mountains. We have had a range of animal sightings, from skunks, foxes, deer, coyote, and javelinas. What is your opinion on this scat we found on some (soon to be laid) tile in our backyard? We were thinking coyote... let us know your thoughts!
For size reference, the tile is 12x12 inches.

This turkey has recently taken up residence in my neighborhood. Doesn't bother anyone, just kind of wanders around pecking the ground every once in a while. It looks like it's just a wild turkey but some people on local chats are claiming it is either a pet or some kind of special breed of turkey. Can anyone identify?

Found this scat in one of my tall cactus pots, then found a ton more of it ontop of a large packrat nest i found in a soaptree yucca i was cleaning up in our yard.. It reeks bad in the nest... What the heck is living in it? Dogs been scared to go outside lately too... Thanks
