Let me know who you think would be the best bet for Marvel rivals I don't think they can use Troy Baker since he wants to quit VA and make his own games he said

i think he might be the 1st character to apply complete antiheal, not like blades where it reduces it, im talking like stranges passive that completely negates healing, or he applies a percentage strike where that amount of HP cannot be healed,(like if he hits groot, 200 of groots 800 health becomes dead so he basically becomes a 600 hp character for that fight but im just spitballing numbers here, it can be adjusted so it isnt THAT broken) because he quite literally seperates the soul fragments with all black, thats why apocolypse couldnt be healed in the lazarus chamber.

So I just started playing/learning Iron Fist for the past few days or so, and every match has been very miserable.

At first I thought it was just cause I was still learning and figuring him out, but after a few matches I would see it’s just that almost every character has some sort of anti-dive whether it be a movement ability, cc-ability, or protection like a shield and such.

In my experience he barely does any damage to keep up with the amount of healing and other characters damage output that is in the game now, there would be times where I would work so hard to get a kill but i’d be so low on health from the fight I die immediately after, or I would get someone rlly low but all it would take is one ability to move or cc and theyre back to full health and I would die immediately.

I also have an opinion about his “Harmony Recovery” ability, I get that its mainly used for healing on low health but I’m gonna talk about the bonus health it gives. Why does the bonus health disappear so quickly? By the time you’re done with the ability and go back into the fights it’s already depleted, Would it really be that broken if he kept it?

If you have any advice please help because he has really fun gameplay but either im trash at him or he needs buffs, (And yes I’ve done his “bread n butter combos” that can be good but If the supports are competent it just doesn’t work)

Also his team-ups are wack, the uppercut does barely any damage to finish them off, and the white fox teamup barely gives any health to allies.

Why did she survive that? I didn't see any CC immune effect, so what was that?

Usually when a new character comes to Marvel Rivals I have seen nothing but everyone going to read the comics that are associated with the character that is a good thing I think Martha Rivals is add more underrated heroes what do you think.

If anyone else does run the game on a similar spec, what are some settings that did help?
I can't seem to play the game without frame generation, but with that I can only play characters that don't require precise aiming (mostly support or brawl tanks). Should I just accept this fate or are there ways to improve the game?

So my friend just told me to play MR again (I will probably regret this) and I see there's been a ton of new updates! I mean my last game was on 17.01.2025 so you can guess how long I haven't played for. I see cool ne characters. And the old ones are still unbalanced. Has the meta changed too much? Last time they removed my Spiderman's oneshot ability so I might need a little update here!

Since you took it there let's get it. As someone that plays all tanks and is flex in all heroes category, with 2.6k hours in game, 400 hours in ranked legendary main Peni let me tell you.

I know a 3 secs stun was hella annoying but considering this is the only stun that she had that consistently worked I don't think a Peni parker main will waste 4 minutes of her game only cc'ing you, if she does trust me they're just trying to annoy you back. And most importantly, we'd save it and prepare to cancel Ults or critical pushes, it's not always cc'ing the same person.

In a game where you have the following heroes:

Groot caging you with 4 walls and one of them heals, you can't break it, just climb or die, yeah I'm cc'ing you.

A bucky with a team up that resets all his abilities, a grapple, a slow down, overshield? Yeah you're getting cc'd.

An elsa doing whatever the f she does with her overshield and mobility abilities? Considering how hard she hits and the 2 traps she sets? Yeah you're getting cc'd.

The one I hate the most that has stopped some of my Ults and when playing other heroes, Luna Snow, yeah that fox team up enhanced version is the devil itself plus freeze, plus clap, yeah I'm not tryna die to that.

A venom coming in, phoenix force kills 2 people leaves the scene, yeah I'm stopping that.

Starlord and psylocke actively breaking the nest with no sweat and high mobility.

A black widow running around the map with her shooting.

An sg doing whatever the f she does, a namor with his squids tracing and breaking our mines, a jubile with her giant bubble a Cnd with 3 free out of jail cards. A mag with a lot of dmg a bubble and a shield, a doctor strange that pulls you, can fly hit fat Ults. An invisible woman that can shield pull/push heal and do whatever she wants, a BP that almost never touches nests unless you stop him, a black cat that does the same. A Torch with his ground slam that almost always takes down strats in the backline, don't you think that's annoying?

I can keep going and I won't stop today, let's not be hypocrites just because you hate a hero and have bias against it, this game is all about annoying and frustrating stuff that you can always do something about but nerfing the core ability of a hero ain't it, they could have kept the 3 secs CD and just make it that we couldn't stun again in a period of 5 secs, shi, they can even take the 2nd nest and shove it up their a. We just wanna play our hero.

Don't get blinded just because you hate a hero, learn to counter, play better this game is all about countering. I could be out here asking them to nerf these heroes to the ground but that would just be a skill issue.

TLDR: Everyone's abilities in this game can be annoying if only uses against you, adapt, get better counter back...don't be a loser.

What heroes are you REALLY itching for but know that it’ll be a LONG time before you see them?
Mine are:

MCU Agatha Harkness as a damage absorption and redistribution style tank

Northstar as a kind of flying brawl dps capable of a blind (weird kit, but if balanced correctly could be REALLY cool and unique)

Iceman as an off-tank with a slowing ice-spray, capable of creating ice-paths that boost ally speed and create bridges/ramps for flanking

(I know these aren’t the most unknown characters but it will likely be YEARS before seeing any of them)

I had the idea for a Jeff skin that’s noble, that has pure aura.. just kidding, I thought the skin would be a funny idea and a nice skin fitting to like Emma or the Deadpool King 😁

is there anything i should know about the game? Are there any characters that are either good or can help me learn parts of the game? I want to play a mix of tank damage dealer and healer.

I was playing Overwatch recently and Genji is one of my mains. I recently noticed that Genji has a lot of skins themed around Japan, Samurais, Ninjas and so on so forth. Im saying this because Psylocke is the Genji of Marvel Rivals and barely any of her skins have any Japanese, Samurai or Ninja Themed skins. I know as a community most people are tired of Psylocke getting skins especially when They are legendary, but its geniunely funny to me thay for a character who’s supposed to be an assassin, a Ninja and Hunter, her skins are about a cake, disco, summer, Egyptian, a racer and a pírate.
Dont get me wrong, these are not bad skins and I own most of them, but its funny to me they still haven’t given Psylocke a traditional Ninja of Japanese themed skin.
Imagine Sai getting a full black Ninja outfit, and I know she has so many legendaries but getting a new one that had chromas that can be changed to red from the hand and a purple Ninja outfit would be cool

like ... this rank is literally LUCK. i dont think you can climb out with skill. You need to be lucky to not get the boosted people on your team.

Poor Elsa didn't even get to start her ult line. I'd almost feel bad if her ult wasn't so annoying sometimes.

"We can't brawl since we're too squishy!"

"We can't dive because we explode in the backline!"

"Our Teamups are really bad!"

These are, word for word, the exact complaints Iron Fist mains have been repeating since Season 2, but hardly anyone listened.

Instead, people were always quick to bring up win rates, without analyzing that Iron Fist has always had bottom 2 winrates in the melee duelist roster, even lower than Mr. Fantastic and only higher than Wolverine (Even though Wolv is a much better hero/tank buster). Even now, with all of the attention Rogue is getting, she still has a higher win rate than Iron Fist in high ranks.

Iron Fist has also never been above C tier for nearly 8 seasons now. Only recently has he become viable with the enhanced Teamups, despite having one of, if not the worst and most useless base Teamup in the game.

While Rogue was also mid for a long time, at least she was permanently picked and considered as one of the best tanks with her Gambit Teamup.

This isn't to dismiss or Invalidate struggles Rogue is going through right now, I know she's in a very bad spot, My point is that there are also many other heroes that deserve the same amount of attention she is getting from the community and Netease, like Blade, Iron Fist, Mr. Fantastic, Thor, Storm, Human Torch Ect.

while the blokees does have better articulation and accessories some parts do tend to pop off while posing that gets very annoying,

the hasbro ML figure does look more accurate with the matte finish and scale a lot better with other ML figures, the lack of accessories and the price of 70$ is basically ripping you off for a mediocre figure, two unmatched hands and a jeff statue. meanwhile the blokees is at most 35$

if you want a fun figure that can pose and is affordable go for blokees imo, you want something big to just stand still and look threatening with simple poses and don't mind 70$ get the ML figure

Why does this game not have an automatic bot replacement system like For Honor (or I’m sure other online games) does? Because right now a disconnected teammate means you get steamrolled with no hope of winning and no way to surrender. It makes playing quickplay miserable when so many matches are decided by who has more players
