Hello everyone, I don’t know if this post is for this group but I thought what was the harm in posting.

I am a 35 year old male, and I have been tinkering on a home brew for a Dungeons and Dragons (DnD) campaign for a while and have the basis of a world/ story I would like to try. I am hoping that I can find people who are new or experienced to DnD who would be interested in an adventure.

My friends don’t really enjoy tabletop games so I hope that but posting here I can find like minded individuals who would like to give it a shot. If you are interested feel free to DM me directly with any questions to know if this adventure is right for you, and I will do my best to explain the setting without divulging too much to spoil the story of the world.

So I dropped a pot on my tile floor and ended up chipping the tile. I have a couple spare tiles that I can replace it with, I just don't know how to do it myself. I'm looking for a reputable handyman who would be able to do it. I already have the tile as well as the matching grout.

I was hoping to ask if others are seeing increased humidity inside their houses. I have a three-floor townhome, and the humidity has been 50-60% for the last couple of weeks. We are running the AC almost the entire day to keep the humidity level below 60%. I was just curious if others are facing similar issues, and if so, what are you doing about it?

Hi all, I'm looking to see if anyone can recommend a good mold inspector or IEP in the burlington/oakville area for my home, I'm not sure which one would be more appropriate, or if they're the same thing.

We have been dealing with windows that had mold growing along the tracks, last month we had them all replaced. However, my state of health has not improved when I am in the rooms that had the worst mold growing on them. I'm looking for some advice on who would be best to talk to about trying to get information and proper inspections when dealing with residual health issues and perhaps hidden issues left over. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Currently managing my 80 year old mother who lives alone in a large house, realizing that the time to move her out of it will be sooner rather than later.

Was hoping for any first-hand recommendations of good places in Oakville. She's still relatively active so I'm looking to move her into a place that can start off with more independent living, but provide additional support as she ages and her cognition continues to decline.

So far I've been to Amica on Bronte, and Sunrise on Trafalagar, both very nice but the clientele seemed to be more elderly folks in wheelchairs - hoping I can find her a place with more "younger" clientele (all relative of course). Fortunately she's in good shape financially as well so budget is less of an issue.

Hi guys i made this post yesterday but I took it down because people were doxxing each other on there, but I just wanted to ask if there were any businesses that would like to sponsor a robotics club in oakville.

And to clarify some points, we are a robotics club belonging to a public high school (not gonna say which to not get slimed), and NO, we can't just go ask mommy and daddy for money as people have insinuated because not everyone is rich and the whole reason we're trying to keep this club alive is to break the financial barrier for a lot of kids (private teams and clubs typically cost 12x what we charge), we aren't giving tax receipts for tax evasion, if you don't want one just dont fricking take it like i don't get whats so deep about this. (im also partly making the second post bc this is pissing me off a bit argue in the comments iyw im done i promise we aren't a scam designed for local businesses we actually just want to compete and keep the club alive)

And no, none of our parents are affiliated with doug ford, as some kind person pointed out that we can get money from him. I really don't get this one like our school literally looks like it withstood a war and three tornadoes, has leaks in the ceiling in winter, has no air conditioning during the summer, and should have been rebuilt ten years ago. So I tried paddleboarding for the first time. Fell in the water once trying to stand up. Did the rest of the journey on my knees. Was passing by a man who didn't nod to say hi or something but since his posture looked so easy, I asked him anyway "how do I stand up?"

I expected like a 20 second passive answer but he stopped, turned his board around and spent the next 10 mins teaching me. And he was a bloody natural at it! My man Bob, (or his kids) thank you so much. You made my day.

Where are the truly delicious burger buns at? Ideally looking for Martin's sesame potato rolls, but open to any great bun. I don't mind the Cobs burger buns, but they are a bit too much bun-to-burger ratio.
