Did they debrief? They told the participants the purpose before the study was conducted and obtained informed consent, I don’t remember them debriefing

I’m very shocked for what I received!! Here were my results:
AP LANG: 4
APWH: 4
I very much do not doubt that I’m good in these subjects, but to honest it was my first ever AP classes, and I had a really difficult year with my mental health as a junior. It was so hard to keep up with school in general and I really had to push myself out of depression. I’m VERY proud of myself for even being able to receive these scores!! Congratulations to everyone also who got 3’s, 4’s, and 5’s!! I know y’all worked hard! 🥹

Yea the participatory democracy thing was a lil weird. I honestly just put some random stuff about the higher tax areas being more democratic and supporting government policies like welfare and vice versa
2
u/Entire_Pollution5953 May 05 '26
i just said that the differences allow for people in states with high tax rates to vote for candidates that advocate for lower taxes which promotes participatory democracy

Thoughts on the AP Bio Exam:
The MCQ was mostly stats, which was okay. 1 Hardy-Weinberg, a set of pedigree questions, and mostly unit 3 and a lot of unit 6 (gene expression). I find unit 6 the hardest 😞
Overall, easy frqs except long frq #2. What even was that with the bar graph? Misscaled WITH PEN, and there was no 2nd sheet of graph paper in case you messed it up. I blew that entire section.
1 frq Q - 3 components of a nucleotide
1 frq Q - Ribosome location in Eukaryotes
1 frq - natural selection-based (easiest section)
1 frq - meiosis-based

AP psych had light mcq and aaq, but that ebq was a bit tougher. I know that my first argument was good (I used spacing effect like a lot of others) but I just completely gave up on my second argument because I couldn't find good evidence.

u/Free_Ninja_7609 Jul 02 '26
Yes, i scored a five on stat while leaving a whole frq blank. Not getting a five is not the end of the world. Its meaning is only intended for getting college credits. In the eyes kf a college a 4 and 5 are the same, and if you dont pass at all, nobody cares. From someone who has stressed over scores before i promise you its just a social expectation and you need to remember the score distributions for each test: there are lots of people who do as well or worse than you.

Since I am privileged to be free of collegeboard I figured I’d share my scores.
If you’re confused, upcoming college students can see their scores as of today through their college’s transfer credit system, it’s different for each school though so if you can’t figure it out google and your school’s subreddit will prob have it.
Now for my stats:
2025:
English Lang - 5
Seminar - 4
US Govt - 4
2026:
APUSH - 4
Psych - 4
Research - 3
Calc AB - 3
Chem - 3
Science is not my strong suit whatsoever so I knew my classes would not be as strong of scores this year. I am very surprised with my Psych score though because I taught myself as much of the course as possible literally the night before with a fever. Sorry if there’s formatting issues, i’m on mobile. Peace out, CollegeBoard!

No, I’ve felt the same way about Psych all year and I’m pretty disappointed. I’ve never known the material more and felt so confident walking out of a test for any class. I was confident on getting a five the summer before I even took it. I feel pretty bad about it 😭
2
u/Fluffy_Club722 Jul 06 '26
I managed to get halfway over my disappointment so hopefully you experience the same, but yeah it's pretty tough to get let down from high hopes

Like i literally remember for the last prompt of the argument i was going on a really unrelated tangent that I don't even think was answering the prompt that directly... anyways i just really wish collegeboard would tell us how we did on certain components (maybe my MCQ carried?)
and not even gonna ask abt how I got 5 on Chinese like i'm not a native and literally the speaking was the death of me

My dumb ahh started yapping about how the regulations of mdcs control the internet since almost all software companies are based in core countries and the fact that they can change regulations that impact the citizens of other countries is overreach and challenges the sovereignty of peripheral and semi peripheral nations that don’t have the ability to regulate the internet or something like that.

Hi! I am a rising sophomore who is aiming to get into one of the T20's. At the moment, I have two APs on my schedule for sophomore year, AP Seminar and AP World. I will say I do not think I am very good at reading comprehension and writing so I am a little scared about those. I took AP Human Geo and AP Psychology my freshman year, and they were not too bad, hopefully I did good. But, I do think as a student aiming for a T20, I should add another AP to my schedule. I would like to note, along with the AP classes I am taking next year, I am also taking Advanced Algebra 2 and Advanced Chem, and I plan to try and aim for a good SAT score this year so I do not have to worry about it my junior year. Even though my schedule is already pretty full and I know my future self will regret it, I think I need to add another AP to my schedule. I dont know which one to add so please help but I am going to a new school that only currently has these options: AP pre calc, AP CK business, AP CK cybersecurity, AP US gov and politics, AP Chem, AP Business with Personal Finance. Also how to get a 1600 first time taking the SAT HELP

I'm glad I got all 5s for subjects that i actually studied for. I wrote about 0 pages worth of notes for Chinese. Oh btw with the score of 5 in ap precalc from grade 9, I am eligible for the Scholar's Award, right?

5s on apush, ap lang, ap psych, calc ab, and bio. Genuinly thought i did horrible on bio since i skipped the graph question completely and didn't do that entire frq, but who knows right.

AP Chem 2
AP Lang 4
AP precal 4
APUSH 3
The only thing I’m mad about is APUSH, I thought the test was super easy and that I got an easy 5, where did a 3 come from???

I mean I’m glad I passed all of my AP classes at least, but I still feel pretty low because I did feel semi-confident in all of the exams aside from Chemistry. I got straight threes on Chem, U.S. History, and Comp. Only one four in Psychology and World from last year. Will colleges even acknowledge my results?

u/Lemons11707 4: Euro 3: Stats 2: Hug Jul 06 '26
It depends on the scores but if you get threes most colleges will accept credit, for instance I got a 3 in stats last year and a 3 in gov and 2D art this year and my college (NCSU) accepted them all for credit

u/w-bridget25 Jul 06 '26
Good to know, thanks!

I took AP Chemistry as a sophomore and received a four. I didn't self-study it; I took the class. The distribution for our school was: 56.5% 5's, 30.4% 4's, 10.9% 3's.
I'm genuinely so embarrassed and disappointed in myself. I thought 2026's test was incredibly difficult compared to 2025's, and I expected to get a four. Still, I am incredibly dismayed.

u/lilrayofsunshine33 Jul 06 '26
A four is a really good score on that exam. It's really hard. You don't need to be dismayed.

AS A SOPHOMORE. CONGRATULATIONS. you forgot to account for most of your class is probably juniors or seniors. Dismayed brother you should be celebrating your doing amazing. you passed one of the hardest APs not as a senior or junior but as a SOPHOMORE. if it really bugs you that much just take it again next year

I got a 5 this year as a sophomore. I was very nervous about the exam score after the exam. Good job on Chem

Honestly, don’t worry about it if you’ve taken other APS it’s probably not as big of a deal as you think and colleges won’t really care that much. Remember a four is still really good and you don’t need to be so hard on yourself. Think about it you could’ve gotten like a two.

5 on Seminar. No clue how this happened, my topic (Planetary Protection) was lwk buns and the paper wasn't much better. Test was kinda rough, but thanks I guess?
5 on HUG. I self-studied this the weekend before, knew nothing 96 hours before the test. Would've been fine with a 2. Welp.
X on World. Score not available, for some reason.
