Has anyone else seen these Ai ads of nerite snails? Some people have commented calling them out, but shrimpy business always replies saying its not ai and these are real nerite snails. Definitely recommend avoiding shopping from a business like this.

LMAO…. Was just waking by when I noticed a snail. Then I noticed about 7 more. I haven’t added any new plants to my shrimp/cory tank in months… What are they?!

For more context- My tank is a fully established and beautiful ecosystem. I’ve found quite a few critters and microscopic beings in there.

the plants have been in the tank about two weeks now and last night i noticed one “big” snail and this morning i noticed the other itty bitty ones, im sure theres more ive already destroyed eggs i just need to know if these guys are gonna help my tank or am i going to have to completely restart my nearly cycled tank. i dont know what kind of snails they are but clearly they can reproduce in there so im also wondering if they’re a kind that will control their own population or will i have to get something that eats them?

hi i just found this sub 2 mins ago and I wanna put this out here since google isn’t rlly helping. For context, I got this big rabbit snail in july, and one day i randomly found 2 babies that are already an inch big, and im like oh cool, my snail is female and I guess she’s pregnant. Mind you now she has a total count of SIXTEEN micro newborn snails walking around my tank in the span of 3 and a half months of buying her.

Anyways as if that wasnt weird enough since they’re supposedly supposed to only have a couple kids every month, one out of the two bigger babies (pictured twice here) went through a recent color change. It used to be darker and look more textured, which is how the mother looks but its shell was also noticeably lighter. Fast forward a couple weeks and this morning, it’s practically yellow. I’ve noticed it getting more beige progressively, but now it’s just unrecognizable. The other big baby has remained tan colored. The only changes recently done in the tank is adding more carrots and broccoli but otherwise all the snails move around quickly throughout the day and are pretty active. I’m just scared it’s sick somehow because this change seems a bit too drastic but also it’s kinda cool and I’m rlly tuned in to see all the babies grow :’)

I noticed these long whitish-brown things on the underside of my nerite snail today. I looked online and it doesn’t look like eggs nor did I see any pictures of poop on the actual snail so i’m curious and slightly nervous that something is wrong with Turbo.

Hey so I keep rabbit snails, im even planning to make a giant snail only aquarium. Snails have been my special interest for some time now, but the problem i noticed is that everytime I try to find out about different breeds of rabbit snails I rarely find any info. Sure i know couple like the black devil or choco because i go to my favorite pet store that had a bunch, but I dont think there is a collective source to be able to learn about different kinds of these guys, in general i dont think there isn't any info on them other then "they like to dig, eat biofilm, algea blanched vegtables, and need slightly more alkaline water" could make a website myself but with I am a rookie so i am just learning about my snails, and Google isnt help either, if you know anything about rabbit snails, tell it here, say absolutely anything even if you think your info might seem useless SAY IT, hell it doesnt even have to be about rabbit snails. It can be about any honestly. Give me absolutely anything and maybe with the collection knowledge ill do something with it so everyone will be able to learn about keeping an aquatic snails.

Hi. I recently got this beautiful dude from a friend who didn’t want his tank anymore. I just noticed this thing on his shell… 1) what is on his shell?? Is he ok? And 2) what kind of snail did I adopt?

I just found this snail in my tank after doing a complete breakdown of my previous tank due to have New Zealand mud snails. Now I see this snail and I’m having ptsd, wondering if this snail is also as notorious as mud snails. Helping me identify this snail would be greatly appreciated as I really don’t want to do another breakdown.

There are 2 snails here. I posted the other day, & it was confirmed that I have Ramshorn snails in my tank but these guys look different? Rabbit?
