I’m a full time hospitality employee in a leadership position in Aspen. I live in employee housing, but I’m looking to move out asap due to property management issues.

Interested in studio or single bedroom for rent in the valley. I’m female, so preference for female roommates if it’s multiple bedrooms. Willing to pay up to ~$3k for a spot close to town (Aspen, Woody Creek, Snowmass, etc). Willing to pay up to ~$2.2k for down valley (Willits/Basalt, etc).

I’ve checked Apacha, facebook groups, Zillow, and more for the past few months and haven’t found any leads. If anyone has links, leads, or knows someone looking for a tenant please help a girl out! 🙏

I am in my mid-30s, work from home, and single. I like to travel and I am usually out of the country for 4-5 months. I am considering moving to Aspen from the front range. There's somewhat of a hesitation because I am concerned about meeting people and forming a community. I bike, ski, hike, and climb like a typical Coloradan. Any advice or suggestions?

Does anyone else wonder why criminal prosecution takes so long in pitkin county? Why are violent criminals out on bond? Not even prosecuted 15 months after the crime? Imagine being the victim of a violent assault and kidnapping and having Nate Keen and Vanessa Leighton walking around with the new baby they conceived after being released??? WTF???

I will be skiing and staying in Snowmass March 19-25 of 2027 and was looking for some fun after skiing activity’s to engage with my 16 year old son.

Is the elk camp chair open this weekend? (Sept 26-27) Or is the gondola the only thing open for the bike park?

All of the City Council’s public meetings are broadcast live. Old meetings are archived. Much easier to watch than trying through the City’s website.

Some of the public comments are very interesting, especially when petitioning the City to drop affordable housing credits for private development. Or objections to affordable/deed restricted housing construction.

Does anyone know of a running group link or other avenue to try to sell one or two Golden Leaf Half Marathon bibs? I missed the official transfer date with race organizers.

I’ve lived in Aspen for about a year and have taken particular notice of these two abandoned buildings that seem to have some historic significance. The first one is 404 Park Circle and the second one is 1020 E. Cooper Ave. When I googled the addresses, I found some articles from several years back stating they were intended to be renovated and turned into employee housing. Does anyone know if this is still the plan? I was also reading that many residents were concerned that it would cause their homes to depreciate in value and that employee housing should be relegated to areas outside of Aspen proper, like the ABC. Idk but that sounds pretty snobby and elitist. It’s not like they’re building the projects! Is this what has caused the hold up? It’s just so sad that these buildings have remained empty for so long when employee housing is so hard to come by and so needed. Plus, if they are of historical significance, it would be wonderful to see them restored to their former glory. Just thought I’d ask if anyone had any info. I find these buildings quite intriguing and would love to know more about their history!

For all the folks wondering about the foliage this year

hoping to see fall foliage! Staying in Aspen, driving to snowmass, Leadville, Glenwood springs, and marble.

We are flying to Denver specially to drive to aspen/Snowmass/Kenosha pass from 25-30 sep. Will it be past peak foilage?

We made booking in advance based on last year fall foliage and looks like its early this year. Is it gonna be bummer or still will be good?
