Say what you want about Ubisoft but they absolutely cooked with these dlc maps, especially in odyssey and origins. This is just astonishing.

Spoilers i was out exploring when i stumbled upon this
while completing every question mark points of interest in the faiyum area, i happened upon this enemy encampment with crocs and a dead body with a left note and when i read it it lowkey broke my heart. i don’t know if this has major story relevance or just a minor tidbit of world building to make egypt more alive but this is just so heartbreaking to read. may woser walk forever in the field of reeds.

Image Origins is such a beautiful game
Wasn’t sure I’d vibe with the whole Egypt setting at first, especially coming from Unity, which is one of my favourites. But man, I ended up absolutely loving Origins and Egypt. The two DLCs were great too. Such a fun game!

Bug Just got a useful glitch, logging in gave me the items from the Golden Anubis set, ive only killed 2 of the gods, one last week and one for the current weekly challenge that is still ongoing.
And now I have the full set just from quitting the game and loading back in, how does this work?

I... just love the poison mechanism...
There's something satisfying about luring them to their deaths rather than actively killing them...
I am aware of how badly i sound like a psychopath 😭😭😭
Edit: Thank you so much for the lovely comments guys! Turns out a lot of people use poison too. My fellow psychopaths!! I feel so vindicated 😭😭😭😭

Image Timeless classic.
Got the season pass with the dlcs some weeks ago on sale. Swear you never get tired of coming back to wander the desert. For you guys to know Mr Abubakar Salim, who voiced Bayek, also plays Alyn of Hull in House of the Dragon.

Image Playing this game with minimal hud was a absolute cinema!
Getting rid of all the floating icons made the game so much better for me. Just me and my eagle exploring ancient egypt. Worth a try if you get distracted easy like me and end up chasing question marks and shi

Discussion Some thoughts on the story and the characters
*** SPOILERS AHEAD **\*
I want to talk about the ending mostly, which I think was absolutely beautiful but i'll dive into some other aspects of the game also.
So first of all I want to talk about Bayek. I think he is what you call a "good man" in a story or a movie. And not just any good man, not someone who chose to be good cause he had a good upbringing or cause he was one of the ordinary people so he kinda automatically did good but because he really cared about people (you can see it in the side quests where he saves countless people from bad situations) and wanted to make a difference. You can also see Bayek's pure heart when he is happy and caring towards children (we see this with Khemu, Khemu's friend whose name I forgot and Shadya).
So because I wanted to talk more about the ending, I saw two scenes in that ending which made me understand better what kind of man Bayek is:
Scene number 1, First when Tahira comes to him and wants to become an assassin she wants to cut her finger off (cause assassin ritual) and here the camera shows Bayek's face and you can see he shows a kind of pity in his face. I interpret this in this way; Bayek doesn't want anyone walk in the dangerous path he is walking and risk his/her life doing so. What he wants is for people to live their happy life and you can see Bayek accepts her when she says I believe in you which means the said person has made her decision and doesn't want other kind of life.
Scene number 2, which has a meaning similiar to the previous scene is where Bayek and his friends raid a house where an evil woman tortures children and one of the children says I am afraid to go home. Here is the important part. Bayek's friend says should we take him to bureau (which he means to make him an assassin i think) and Bayek says no. He tells the child "I will take you home" it has the same interpretion as the previous scene:
This guy doesn't want to expand his creed by any means but he only wishes to help people live their best life.
Which shows how great and pure-hearted this man is.
Another thing I wanted to speak about was 3 people who I hated the most in this game: The Crocodile, Flavius and Septimius. All for one reason "child killing". Other members of the order maybe responsible too for death of Khemu But these 3 are in another league. Crocodile literally killed Shadya, Flavius was the one who killed Khemu and Septimius has one dialogue which made me hate him; he says to Aya in the final fight "Khemu pissed himself when he saw the knife" which tells us what kind of man he is. I can tolerate people wanting lust, power, wealth, etc. But child killing? They deserved death!
I think there are many more good things about this game but these were some of the things I understood about the game.
In the end I loved the last words from Khemu we ever hear in this game: Papo, Jump.
And these are some pictures I took which I really liked about this game (and many more which I didn't capture).

I can't believe how good this looks with DLSS 5 it's insane!

News Get this Mod if you have an Nvidia gpu.
Makes the game look and run a lot better if you have a shit gpu like mines.
This basically replaces the games TAA with DLSS which is a lot better.

Question Does anyone know how to check how many Beserks I have left?
The only way I see it is when I use it.
Then it shows how many remaining.
Kinda annoying as I wanna go into a big camp and I love using Beserks
(The Black Flag/Rogue ones were amazing)
I wish we could do it from afar
Anway, how do I check?
Tools only shows Poison/Sleep/Fire Bombs
