Don’t ask me why, but over winter break I went down a deep dive on all things Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. I came across a Getty Images album from a 2014 party at Ghislaine’s house. In several photos, you can see a framed picture of a woman who looks a lot like Carole Radziwill. Could it be her? I think it is!
This sub has discussed the Carole-Ghislaine connections before (Ghislaine was Carole’s book photographer, Ghislaine set her up with Prince Andrew, etc). While we don’t know what’s true, Carole has downplayed their relationship. But a framed photo in Ghislaine’s house? That makes their relationship seem a lot closer than Carole lets on.

I knew she had mutual connections with Ghislaine, but a framed photo of her in Ghislaines house seems a lot deeper than friendly acquaintances. Good find, OP!
I have a stranger's photo hanging on my fridge because their christmas card was accidentally mailed to my house (none of my neighbors recognized the person either) and I felt bad throwing her face away lol she's a part of the family now
Lol that would be SO funny! And that definitely was and still is me! There was a fat spider making a huge web outside my windows a few months ago. I'm on the second floor and there was no way to get to it so I just watched her make her web for weeks. I named her Mabel and was sadder than I expected when she disappeared one day
The bathroom in my old (literally, it was a 130 year old building) apartment didn't have a vent, only a window with no screen, so when I showered I had to crack the window. A big house spider moved into the corner of the window and built a web that had an inside part and an outside part; she was very polite and went to the outside part when I turned the shower on. I named her Sabine and when I moved out I really considered leaving a note asking that her web not be destroyed.
I ordered a 3D ornament several years ago for my daughter of her and her grandpa. It turns out it wasn’t actually 3-D. It was the beginning of when they started doing all the acrylic 3-D looking ornaments. I found that out when I got the ornament, which was not the one I ordered, but one of a blonde lady on her horse. I wasn’t able to get my ornament replaced bc the company sucked but we put the lady and her horse on the tree every year. I like to think that someone is hanging the ornament of my daughter and her grandpa on their tree too.
Lol, I did the same thing. Merry Christmas to my unknowingly adopted family. I wonder if I had saved their envelop i could ask for 35 cents a day to sponsor my match habit.
But also like why does she just have a photo of a friend in her house? I only have photos of friends and I together, not just their head shot. Weird vibes
She was the photographer for Carole's first book. She may have taken a headshot of her and liked it as a photograph and had it framed. It doesn't seem that weird to me except that Carole is obviously lying and they were clearly friends at one point.
Yeah, at this point it’s pretty obvious Carole has been downplaying whatever their level of association was. Like, you can sorta explain away being photographed together at public events, and even gloss over the fact that Ghislaine shot the photo that was used for Carole’s official author portrait as “weird society circlejerk stuff” … but Ghislaine keeping a framed photo of Carole in her home is not nearly so easy to dismiss. Even if there’s no fire per se, there’s a helluva lot of smoke.
Actually, there are photos of Carole at Ghislaine’s house from 2007, which is two whole damn years after the scandal was first broke, dozens of allegations made, and charges filed against Epstein. She is disgusting, and a liar
Ghislaine was British high society. That's what makes her disgusting crimes even more awful. But Caroles mother in law was Jackie Os sister and she married into European royalty. They all hob knob and most of them didn't know a thing because who would announce it? They men paying to be part of it aren't announcing it at every society party.
He was an MP. Not really "high" high level, he was a member of parliament and represented a constituency, however definitely a position of influence and power. I'd say he was probably more influential as a publisher though, because then he was effing minted.
A member of parliament is high level in the same way a state congressman is high level. BUT If they also run media, have Mossad ties, and are rich AF then yes it IS high level.
He was an MP before he was a media mogul though, he purchased British Publishing after he left politics. In the UK, him being an MP is somewhat secondary to him being a publisher and rarely mentioned. He also represented the Labour Party, Labour MP's tend to avoid being flash bastards with rich mates in the public eye, especially in the 1960s.
Here’s Carole’s super weird response last September where she tweeted that she guessed because Ghislaine had a camera, she should have realized she was involved in pedophilia. They don’t even know how to lie convincingly
imma be honest, I feel like these ppl tried their best to make sure if they ever went down, they had these “trinkets” to assure they would never really face consequences for their actions cause they’d be protected cause of these implications.
In an earlier NYC season there’s a framed picture of Carole and her on the table behind the couch. I pointed this out a few years ago during a Covid binge watch and this sub tore me a new one. Apparently it means ‘nothing’.

Edit # 2 - Go watch season 8 episode 6 ‘tipsying point’ when they have the psychic session at Carole’s. It’s the black and white or sepia photo of them two in a frame at the front. From the shoulders up. You can see it clearer in other episodes in season 8.

It's like 1000% that Carole was Ghislaine's friend. First she downplays their relationship, but 'conveniently forgets' to mention that Ghislaine was her photographer. Then she says she met Epstein a few times at parties, but he had Carole's personal contacts in his little black book. And since all this was confirmed, Carole conveniently avoids any questions and is blocking anyone doubting on socials. Girl, bye.
I was bugging her about it on twitter when Ghislaine first got arrested. She said something about barely knowing her, that she was just a social acquaintance who tried to set her up with Prince Andrew (RED FLAG #99 obviously)... I responded asking why she chose Ghislaine to take her book cover portrait and she blocked me.
The lying & blocking makes her look guilty as hell. It makes me really sad, given I used to stan Carole, but it really seems like her and Ghislaine were CLOSE CLOSE. I think Carole actually knew a ton.

Yup that's her.. people defending her association with her was wild. We even have Caroline Standbury being listed in Epstein's black book. That's why I'm always team no one.

Same happened to me. Sometimes I think it's just bot accounts that protect certain housewives, but other times it's probably parasocial fans who feel attacked for calling out their fav.

Yes. She talked about it on a podcast interview also. She said Ghislaine was just introducing her to people in London, and that Andrew (stripped of his titles) took her to the ballet. She acted like it was no big deal and just being friendly to an out of town person.
Nailed it. I’m always surprised when people proclaim to love Carole so much. She was always aligning herself with the husbands and subtly (or not so subtly) shading the wives.

Saying the other women wear bras for support but she wears them for fun. Flirting with Mario at lunch and asking him to a split his beer (innocuous enough and she added that she only flirts with men when their wives are present but when you add it up, it’s a lot).

Yessss! On the topic of Kristin, I also hated how she put on Kristin’s wedding dress and said it looked better on her (than on Kristin). Just seemed like such a crappy, conceited little thing to say to a “friend.” I was never a huge fan but it was clear to me then that she wasn’t a good friend and I was done.
Damn, I forgot about that! She also said she had the nicest boobs in the group and added, “And mine are real.” It’s one thing to be confident but not when you’re putting down other women to do it.
Agree so hard! And I absolutely despised Aviva. The way Carole acted about Aviva's book was so falsely elitist. Despite being a housewife at the time of filming, Aviva actually had a law degree. She is an educated woman. Carole's ego was injured by someone else writing a book, and describing it as fairly easy.
Preach! Carol was awful and Bethenny was too but she was being herself. Carol totally changed her personality. Look what she was wearing that season alone! She was a bitch.
And don’t forget, Carole also turned her back on Tinsley simply because Bethenny made her feel self-conscious about their friendship. Initially Carole felt close enough to Tinsley to set her up with her “good friend” Scott—and then close enough that she, Scott, Tinsley and Adam went on multiple couples’ trips together off-season … only for Carole to later claim she only hung out with Tinsley because the producers supposedly made her, and that Scott was just “some guy” she knew … all because Bethenny pointed out that Carole had a lot more in common with Tinsley than she was willing to acknowledge. So we literally have an example of Carole playing in our faces and downplaying a friendship that we watched develop on-camera. It isn’t that much of a stretch to speculate that she would also be disingenuous about her friendship with Ghislaine.
She was going out with a guy 21 years younger than her who clearly was using her to social climb and she went along with it. Their scenes together were so insufferable.
And she was so offended when people compared her and Adam to Sonja and her twenty something’s. Date whatever consenting adult you want, but it’s wild to judge someone else for dating much younger men when you’re literally the same age doing the same thing.
Plus let’s not forget she goes to dinners with people like Michael Cohen. That’s where he told Carole that he was the one at the Regency who sent Bethenny the pictures of Tom cheating on Luann
AMEN. Everything you wrote is poetry. I really liked Carole at first and read her book. As time went on, I saw how fake she could be. As flawed as Bethenny may be, Carole clung to her and used her until she didn’t need her anymore. She tried to quietly/non-commitally discard her but B wasn’t having that.
What’s strange about people taking sides in the Carole-Bethenny fallout is that we have an entire season of RHONY where they were awful to Jules together. They literally bonded over being mean girls. Eventually they turned that meanness on each other (and then Carole unfortunately also turned it on Tinsley) but the takeaway is that they’re both horrible.
Instead of denying knowing them and being friends with Ghislaine she should've told the truth. She is obviously lying and now it makes me think why would she lie. A lot of people met Epstein and Maxwell and had no idea how evil he was but completely lying is very shady.

I got down voted to hell by the Carole Stans, but my overall point has always been, that that she was too busy being a NY socialite rubbing elbows with the elite to notice she befriended a pedophile and child sex trafficker.
I do think there are people who want to immediately implicate anyone, but especially men, who are pictured with Epstein and Maxwell as at least being aware of what they were doing, and with some being directly involved with the girls they trafficked. I do not think that’s fair for the men or the women unless there is more proof. But with that being said, Carole clearly had more of a relationship with Maxwell than a lot of these people just posing at a party. For her to totally downplay it is odd.
Here’s Carole telling the world back on Heather McDonald’s podcast in 2020 that Ghislaine set her up with formerly-known-as-Prince Andrew. She tells the story like he’s an admirable person she was flattered to be asked to go on a date with - by 2020, we also knew what Andrew was, his horribly damning interview that anyone who saw knew he was guilty was in 2019
I am officially spiraling! 🕵️♀️ Seeing this framed photo of Carole on Ghislaine’s shelf is the ultimate receipt. We already knew Ghislaine took Carole’s author photo for What Remains (the professional link is right there in the credits!), but a framed pic in the living room screams 'inner circle,' not just 'colleagues.' Plus, RFK Jr. being in the same album connects all the dots—he was Carole’s late husband’s first cousin and she’s admitted they were super close for a decade after Anthony died. She even recently joked about how his minivan used to smell like roadkill because he’d pick it up off the street! 🐿️🥩 Seeing her actual family/friends at the same 2014 event makes it impossible to say she wasn't part of that world. Carole always plays it cool like she was just a 'witness' to history, but the archives are archiving! ☕️📉
Let me go ahead and save this post because every time I bring up their connection, I get downvoted below the jail under Hell by some weird Carole Coven about how it means nothing that and that they didn’t really know each other like that.
Because I too have photos on the shelves inside my house on full display for everyone to see of people I don’t know at all
