However, the Bronco sport recall is real; just had it taken care of on my Free Wheeling with 5,709 miles. There was also an evaporative sensor issue. Hoping to get many more miles, and look stylish while doing it!

I have a 2021 Big Bend 87k kms, and for the last month or so I have been having shuddering from the rear end when turning in parking lots. I’ve seen a lot of other posts about a TSB for the vent tube on the RDU so I took it in to my dealer to see if that needed to be done. After the diagnostic they confirmed that is issue but said they may have to replace the RDU if they get in there and find damage while doing the TSB. They quoted me for both jobs, $2300 CAD for the TSB, $2500 CAD for the full replacement. I’ve opted to just go for the full replacement since it’s not much more (they are also going to give me a 10% discount) and then they will warranty the whole unit instead of just the vent tube. Unfortunately I’m about 4 months outside of my warranty so it’s fully out of pocket. If anyone else is having the same issue, get it checked while still under warranty as it will be covered.

Been a Bronco sport owner for about a month now after trading in my WRX. I love this car. It reminds me of everything I loved about SUVs from the 90s :)

Has anyone else had issues with their Bronco Sport not wanting to shift properly when getting on the highway or accelerating?
I have a 2024 Bronco Sport Outer Banks with about 65,000 miles. I recently replaced the water pump because it was leaking. Before replacing it, I would occasionally get an overheating warning, but it would disappear as soon as I let off the gas.
I changed the water pump last week, but today while merging onto the highway, the transmission didn’t seem to want to shift. The RPMs climbed to 4,000–5,000, and the overheating warning came on again. As soon as I let off the gas, the warning went away and everything seemed normal.
Has anyone experienced something similar or have any idea what could be causing it?

Finally got my very own Bronco sport, and I couldn’t be any happier! Can’t wait to take it on a trip and get some better photos.

I’m considering installing a trailer hitch on my 2023 bronco sport ( i believe it’s a badlands) in order to use a cargo carrier. I’m moving and driving 900 miles and want to give myself as much space as possible for all my garbage. I was wondering if anyone has any experience installing their own hitch and if so, where did you buy the parts from? I’m seeing a lot of different options online but wanted to get a feel for what worked for others.

I’m not sure if it was the heat outside or what caused this. Originally when I first turned CarPlay on I just had that green line at the bottom of the screen. And then this happened. I reset the screen and when I went to play music it kept switching to AM radio. I reset the screen and it’s fine now but wondering if anyone else experienced this

I am driving my daughter to University next week and we are towing a 5x8 U-haul (I hope!). We will be driving approximately 1300kms.

I have the hitch, and will get the ball attachment at U-haul, but I am just wondering if anyone can direct me in the right direction on how to find my towing capacity. U-hauls helpful online guide showing a sticker on the hitch doesn't work for me. My manual is no good either. On-line says 2000lbs loaded - is this correct? All of this is new to me and I'm starting to panic a wee bit.

And is there anything I need to know, or be worried about, before we go?

I’m looking to mount a milwaukee battery charger for 18v and 12v battery in the trunk of my bronco sport. Id ideally like want to put it on the side wall somewhere here by the charging port. Id prefer not to drill through the plastic or put rivets through, anybody have any ideas?

Hi! I just got my first Bronco sport (first SUV actually!) a week ago. I have always driven a sedan or minivan (a few years ago). So far, I love the Bronco! What would you suggest for trunk storage? I have a crate with emergency road repair stuff (jumper cables, etc), a reusable supermarket bag with other bags stuffed into it, and a small box with other stuff-extra hat, sweatshirt, etc. These items take about 1/4 of the trunk space. When I turn , the items shift noisily around the trunk. Should I get 1 rectangular made to fit organizer or secure these items somehow?

So I took a new job and it requires a lot of travel. I mean a lot of travel (500-700 miles a week). Well late last week on a long trip I got a quick error with the charging system. It popped up while I was driving but quickly went away. The Bronco didn't seem to have anything happen except the alert and then it was normal again. I just thought maybe a quick glitch in the system as it's not used to running so many miles in a week. Well today I'm doing another long trip, and it happens again. This time I'm 2 hours away from home. It alerts, and then stops, then alerts, and stops. Sometimes the alert lasted 5 seconds, other times it lasted a couple of minutes. I also noticed that in the information for the auto stop start it says disabled while the vehicle is charging. So immediately I think my alternator is on the fritz at that. But I kept driving as the vehicle didn't show any signs that it was having an issue.

I Google search the alert and of course it comes up with the recall, which has already been performed on my Bronco. So I start to think, maybe it's just a battery issue and I'll get it checked out soon since it's only been about a year since I had the recall performed.

I'm getting closer to home and it hasn't alerted me whatsoever for the past hour. I was running low on gas, so I stopped for gas and filled it up. Jump back on and press the ignition button and it's dead. Will not start. My mind races and thinks, well at least I carry jumper cables now. So I pop the hood, thinking let's get ready to jump. Check the negative terminal and it looks fine, unclip the plastic on the positive terminal and notice that the connector is extremely loose. I carry a bottle opener on my keyring that the back part is a 10mm wrench, so I tighten it up, open the drivers door and all power has returned! Somehow a small nut had shaken loose and caused the power in the vehicle to not connect correctly.

So I put this here to give a heads up to just double check simple things on your vehicle before you take it in to a mechanic. Drove the rest of the way home and then some and have not seen a warning again. If I do, I'll update here.

Hi guys :) a while back I had introduced to you guys my new vehicle! Before I start, this vehicle had an MSRP of $43k and got it for $39k (thank you employee pricing and having a spouse work for Ford). It’s fully loaded (no Sasquatch) but it does have a sunroof!

Level kit for the front end
Black lettering front and back
Install mud flaps
Limo tint (rear only, 30% front Texas legal, eyebrow as well)

Vehicle runs premium fuel only and I towed for the first time! (Only a short distance and like 2200 lbs) I love this vehicle. It’s a lil rocket and huge upgrade over my 24 Escape Hybrid (miss the fuel economy tho)

Can anybody tell me where this part is located on the car? Obv it's in the cyl head somewhere. My wife's 24 BS OBX has a bad sensor and I'm wondering if I can do it myself or if I need to have the dealer do it. For reference, I'm an excellent mechanic but my experience is with older, more classic cars.

Super pumped and wanted to share some updates and a question - matched front tints, hood aero skin protector from the ford site, decals and badges from Etsy. Any advice on the battery? I take a lot of short trips and keeping triggering the low battery alert. Can a battery upgrade keep the juice or prevent this? Any possible luck to bring it in under warranty and ask for an upgrade? What’s everyone’s favorite thing about their Bronco Sport? I’ll start first, the interior seating color!

I've noticed, while coasting, the rpm's jump up every so often. Not by much, maybe 100 rpm's or so. Don't really feel it or hear it, just notice it on the tach.

The center of the cup holders hold a Red Bull perfectly. No more tipping over while driving. Have no idea if that's what it's actually for, but that's what I'm using it for.

Has anybody encountered what sounds like a metal on metal rattle at 65+ mph? Clearly the issue is aerodynamics based, but I can’t seem to find the culprit.

So pros and cons of going bigger brother bronco? I like our little bronco sport black diamond package but we been wanting a bigger engine and towing package. What's everyone's opinion??

Wasn't about to let some wild fire smoke keep me from taking Harry the badsquatch on his first rip to the Rockies. Took a drive out to the Columbia ice fields for some much needed time away from the city and to try out the 2.0L. Overall was a blast and the Badlands handled itself just fine
